I have the Amazon version. It is basically the same quality. It works great, and have the BRS-3000T single burner. It’s like night and day. Having no gage to measure the fuel consumption, I have to agree that this works for medium size pans and the BRS for smaller pots or cups.
I have this stove and can also hook up to propane. It’s perfect for the morning coffee emergency. I wanted something very stable. I put a small bush raft screen on it so small pots are stable.
I've been using the single head one for more than a year. Works like a charm and hasn't given any problems. In my opinion, I prefer the single head to the triple head for more controlled gas consumption. I also use an adapter for spray can size gas canister to ease of packing. It's not your BRS3000 but when I cook outdoors, I don't want a tiny flame.
For myself: BTUs do matter in colder weather. The 3 heads seem more likely to distribute heat across a medium-sized pot or pan. I really LIKE this one.
I absolutely love this stove; it's a bit noisy, but that's expected from a company known for making airhorns for semis. I personally own three different models. Some may complain about the noise, and indeed, at maximum settings, it does rumble, and fuel consumption goes up. Yet, I've had no issues, even here in Colorado at 14,000 feet. Plus, Jetboil fans might be jealous of its size and the ability to cook more than just noodles and boil water (just kidding). The boil time is slightly longer than Jetboil's, but if you have time to sit with a Jetboil to boil water for coffee, you can spare an extra minute and save $90, in my opinion.
Interesting concept and honestly for a kit to keep in the car as part of your vehicle emergency kit couple this with the normal green propane tanks with the correct adapter would make a good kit that should fit into one of the larger camping cooking pans for storage. I really like the position of the igniter and also like the long hose with the burner adjustment at the fuel bottle rather than on the stove near the burners. This type of use weight would not be a factor but still overall a nice compact unit that does not take up a lot of space. I see a lot of people commenting on added fuel consumption as compared to a single head stove and yes it makes sense the 3 heads will flow more fuel BUT what has to also be taken into the equation concerning fuel use is it will be running for a shorter time period to heat something to a given temp so total fuel consumption may be more equal between the two designs than one would initially think. May consider buying one of these and giving it a try. Love your videos as they really include budget items for the average guy to consider adding to their kit which may not see really heavy use but is still nice to have available.
Thanks for that review. My friend just bought that same stove in Israel. The store had no idea where it came from or the brand. They sold it to her for $25.00 as they were clueless as to what the real price was supposed to be and never received any information about it. I couldn't believe it when I began to watch this as we had just tested out the time it took to boil and how efficient it was. We were pleasantly surprised! Mystery solved!
Thank you for the review. I picked up one of these on Temu because of it! It was a total of $17.58. The stove was $15.27 and the adapter $2.31. It didn't come packaged in a cardboard box but did have the same orange case as in your video. It looks exactly the same as your stove, orange gas block and all. The body and burner heads are stainless steel. The gas block aluminum. The only thing I noticed that wasn't stainless were the two screws inside the burner cup that hold the gas block to the body. On mine those were zinc plated screws. I measured them and they were M4x32mm. I didn't want rusty screws so I ordered some M4x30mm on Amazon and swapped them out. Even though they were 2mm shorter there was still plenty of thread to tighten down nicely. I suppose you could use M4x35mm and cut them if they were too long. At least the screws are now stainless steel as well. This should make a great group camping stove!
Great review, Luke! Wow! For 11 bucks and change, it would be worth buying two of them, one for my backpack and one in my van. That adapter would come in handy as some stores are out of one or the other fuel.
A company called Bulin has been making these multi burner stoves for some time, from 1 to 9 burners in many configurations. I bought the 6800w(3 burner)version on a whim about 4 yrs ago from Amazon to use during times of winter truck camping/hunting, it's a gas hog for sure but I run it from a 20lb propane bottle so no worries. It'll go through a butane/iso canister pretty quick. This one looks eerily similar in some ways and use so, same mfg different name as you say? Thanks Luke.
Just got this stove in mail today…$19ish after tax now,but still way worth the money!! This lil guy doesn’t allow you to see the power for its size in a video….this thing is a beast for its size! 💪🏻🔥
Watched this and ordered one from Amazon £16 in UK. Got it and have tried it out. Have to say WOW, what a little burner. for the price and ease of use there are no complaints, going in the 4x4 vehicle kit. Cheers
GORGEOUS views behind you...colors of Fall. I still haven't upgraded from wood burners, I just don't want to deal with buying and transporting the fuel and worrying with things like cold messing up fuel flow. The Skyemac large is killing it for me right now.
good product purchased from amazon version for 35$ cad bring this everywhere I go I drive a truck and been making coffee every morning with this and usually end up cooking meals for the week once in a while been using all three fuels isopro pure butane and 1lb propane bottles performes flawlessly every time mine has a few sharp edges around the burner and I singe the hair on my hands every time I use the igniter so all in all very good product and for me it pays for itself no more restaurants on the road
I have this exact stove except it has a single larger burner. I bought it because of the built-in windscreen and it works great. Its a bit cheap and takes up more space than I'd like but its very stable and you literally cant beat it for the price
Hi Luke!: I purchased one of those ones from Amazon with the extra stuff. But it was a Amazon Day deal and was less than $30. It came with an adapter for propane cans. I am sure it will run with one of those butane adapters, am going to try it and see how it works out! A real BEAST of a stove! Might try to boil water with all three different kinds of fuel to see how each one does.
I have the one with the single burner. I bought it off of Amazon. It has worked flawlessly every time I use it. It is part of my portable coffee/tea kit.
Pretty neat. Great content as usual. A side note, wind does not affect the temperature of inanimate objects... tables, fuel canister, glasses etc. What was likely happening is that the extra fuel flow caused the canister to cool quicker than normal which made it look like the wind was cooling the fuel canister. Really like the reviews! Keep them coming! Thanks!
@@CrimeVid if the object is warmer than the ambient temperature, then yes. But once it reaches ambient temperature, it won't cool anymore because of wind.
I bought a similar stove with a propane adapter. I tested it out with both propane and butane and it boiled water fast. I do not have experience with camping stoves. I bought it more for survival purposes. I made the mistake of using a cup. It barely fit on the pot stand and as you said, the flames were going around the base of the cup and I burned myself. Lesson learned.
I do not see a fuel tube near the burners, so this is a warm weather stove. The reference to the wind and temperature cooling the fuel canister, indicates the issue. The canister stove fuel is a blend of gasses. The denser ones will be unusable in cold weather after the propane burns off. As we are going into the winter camping season, I bring this up. There are some canister stoves with a fuel preheater tube close to the burner. With these, one can invert the canister and use the liquid fuel, which the referenced tube will vaporize for burning. Read and follow the instructions to be safe.
That is a really neat stove and you can't beat the price. Looking forward to future reviews. I really like the long hose. Thanks like, stay safe and God bless.
QUESTION: How adjustable is the flame? My biggest complaint with most backpacking stoves (even the high quality ones) is that they're basically afterburners only good for boiling water. Finding a good quality stove w/ ADJUSTABLE heat to actually cook on backpacking trips is challenging!
I have one of these, you can adjust the flame but it kind of works like this: 10% on = 10% power 20% on = 50% power 30% on = 80% power 35% + = Full power
I have the second version of that stove for quite some years. That still has more power than most stoves i came in contact with. My Go To, absolutely. Holds up very well. But who needs more power its brilliant to have the other option. My recommendations!
Hello Luke, I enjoyed your video even though I don't camp. I think this stove might be something to have on hand in case of an outage. Also the trees behind you are beautiful, such a lovely time of year. Keep up the good work.
Hi Luke, I found this stove with a single burner relabeled as Woods, a Canadian outdoor brand. Selling at 99 Canadian dollars at Canadian Tire, also woods’ parent company.
I got one of the Amazon stoves for a little over $30. It is the exact same stove. The propane adapter and the windscreen are worth an extra ~$20 to me. Everything that I have runs on propane and I don't want to have to store different fuels if it can be avoided.
Nice review. These can be had on eBay (some w/o the butane adapter tho so read descriptions) & for about the same price. Picked one up a few months ago & used it during power outage after hurricane Helene. Pleased so far.
We seen you show this last month from AliX so we looked on there and ordered it. It was $21. And some change with shipping however it didn't come with the adapters even tho the picture shows it comes with it. Super happy for the stove and small and light and hard case going to be great for kayak/camp season!! Oh and it said it would not be here (Indiana) until after Xmas so super happy when we got it in just 3 weeks! Thanks for the review your awesome!! Requested the adapters from them but haven't heard back yet.
Well, the 32 buck Amazon version is RETURNABLE and warranted. Add in the extras and that's a freaking hard choice. In my mind, if it's a stove you will keep, grab the Amazon version.
As always thansk for your review. I wonder if you could include the amount of fuel used to boil. Weigh the canister before and after... give a sense of how long the canister will last. Honestly, for that price, who cares, but it would be just another comparrison. -Matt-
Luke, BTUs do matter. I camp at 7000ft + elevations and cold and windy weather. Lower BTUs stoves takes alot longer to cook or not even at all. Also when it's windy, it is almost impossible for the flame to reach the pan.
Multiple heads means larger area of area of heat...a very desirable thing when simmering or frying. The huge oversight is that they did not incorporate a fuel line running across a burner to vaporize liquid fuel and thus allow the canister to be inverted. IMHO, any remote canister stove should be designed to work with an inverted canister, and canisters should be run inverted in these types of stoves year-round to insure optimal performance from the canister year-round.
I think I may have seen a version of this stove with a preheat tube on Amazon a while back. Don't remember the brand or price and couldn't tell you if it's still available.
I have an erlyer version of this stove with only one burner. When it is running enough heat travels down into the orange base piece (to which the gas hose connects to) to run on an inverted cannister. The output is only slightly higher than with the cannister up but running liquid gas is absolutly no issue. It is probably the same with this 3 burner stove.
I like the unique 3 burner config, the price, and the dual fuel capacity of this stove, Luke. What I do not like is the inability to use small cups/pots effectively and the possibility that this stove might burn through fuel faster than a single burner one. Not to mention I have to buy this from a Chinese Co. and sites. If I had not already bought an Msr Whisperlite years ago, I might have considerd it. But since I have, and considering the cons, I believe I will pass on this one until I get an RV.
TEMU has it. Pardarsey 5800W Windproof Camping Gas Stove but it is $20.38. I'm pretty sure it is the same manufacturer. Even the storage box looks the same. It's 60% higher price.
Wind does not cool the canister. It would prevent it from heating-up, but moving air ( = wind) of certain temperature cannot cool anything below that temperature, unless there is some sort of evaporation happening.
It would be interesting to know how the fuel efficiency vs output performance compares to other stoves. Also, weather or not a propane adapter would work.
In my experience, the 3 burner heads distributing the heat over a broader area is better than a single burner blasting a single point. For this price, and this review, I'm definitely picking one up for the trips when I'm out with a small group.
This is also where a normal larger single burner along the style used on a standard Coleman camping stove will actually be better using a container that is large enough to keep the flame contacting the bottom of the pan. In my opinion the little single small head backpacking stoves are designed mainly to heat up some water in a cup type container for a hot beverage or to reconstitute a dried type of meal on the trail.
There are several models of this basic model/styling (one burner) available, I had an OK one, that stayed with my daughter, and a basically useless one (huge flame only) in my garage.
I was going through some old camping kit the other day and found a Fire Maple FMS-100T stove inside an old MSR Titan Kettle. Looks like it wasn't ever even fired up. Completely forgotten about. Fire Maple FMS-100T vs. Kovea Spider Stove
Great review Luke as usual. Through and to the point, no BS. I have this Stove, but is made by Odoland. It’s the 6800 model and is a fantastic little stove. Comes with the adapters etc. Very powerful. 👍🏿
The cheapest stove I have ever purchased was a Go System Backpacking Adapt Stove (Trangia Copy) for £5. Works nicely with an Esbit CS2350WN cookset with exceptional boil times and very high gas efficiency. Will even work with an Inverted Gas Canister mode. Esbit cookset with alcohol burner with heat exchanger - CS2350WN
Recently discovered your channel and love it. Great job on the reviews. I recently purhased one of these stoves but it doesn't readily light. Seems like I'm not getting enough spark from the ignitor. Any tips on how to fix?
Thanks. Both these stoves look better than the BRS for cooking. The heat can be turned way down and still heat a skillet or legit cook pot without the single hotspot of BRS single even turned down to medium. If you're just boiling...the traditional BRS pocket rocket is all you need. 5 min cup boil and less butane wasted. This has to be using three times the fuel. I might buy this to use instead of my 2 burner flat stove for solo car camping...or taking a cooking lunch on my motorcycle (without overnight camping). Camping on my bike or hiking the single BRS is my cooker.
There is one with 7 burners from bulin for a C note. At a weight of 4 1/2 .lbs not sure why they call it a back pack stove unless it's a pack on the back of a mule.
Using propane on the benchtop in a pot without a lid I brought 16 oz of room temperture water to a full boil in 1:25. that's the fastest time ever for any of my stoves. If you need to heat something fast this is the stove for it.
I really enjoy these reviews you do because they not only are good for the camping crowd but also for emergency preparedness crowd too.
I found this same stove on Amazon for $30 but it includes one more adapter for propane fuel.

“Spread the legs apart” had me laughing 😂
Got an Odoland one, had it about 18 Months. Keep up Luke 🤣🤣🤣
It’s on Amazon for about 24 dollars without the adapter and it isn’t listed as MSR but it does show up under 3 burner stove
i have the very same exept it onely has one burner,it works great
In my experience, the 3 burner heads distributing the heat over a broader area is better than a single burner blasting a single point.
I like the way the heat looks like is spread out. Like it would cook meat more evenly.
Paleohiker MD got it first. Stove guy ftw
Thanks Luke; this looks like it is a great deal with good quality to boot!
There are several models of this basic model/styling (one burner) available, I had an OK one, that stayed with my daughter, and a basically useless one (huge flame only) in my garage.
I bought one on Amazon £30.99, made by Odoland. It’s great.
don't use propane with the Amazon version, When turned up you get a flame 3 feet tall.
I have the single head version and much prefer this type of stove.
Much more stable and safer than the ones that screw on top of the gas canister.
The single burner version on Amazon does have the adapter advertised with it.
This stove appears to be a lot more stable than many of the others I have seen you use
bought it via provided link!
I was going through some old camping kit the other day and found a Fire Maple FMS-100T stove inside an old MSR Titan Kettle. Looks like it wasn't ever even fired up. Completely forgotten about.
Fire Maple FMS-100T vs. Kovea Spider Stove
I guess there’s no preheat tube? Not really set up for winter?
Great review Luke as usual. Through and to the point, no BS.
I have this Stove, but is made by Odoland. It’s the 6800 model and is a fantastic little stove. Comes with the adapters etc. Very powerful. 👍🏿
This really looks nice and at a nice price. 👍🏻
Looks awesome.
Giving it a shot, thanks 🤙
Any chance you could add the cm version of the sizing of objects you review? Maybe just a insert in the video that would be great.
I picked up one of these and am very satisfied with it so far. Easy to use and easy to control different temperatures. Hard to go wrong.
I like it.. it would make a great stocking stuffer….
😮😊seems like a nice unit😊Thanks for sharing
thanks for the info. Its just what I was looking for.
I have that stove or least one very similar. It works very well! It cost me more than ten bucks though.
Hi Luke,, I do like that stove.. thank you for your reviews.
Using propane on the benchtop in a pot without a lid I brought 16 oz of room temperture water to a full boil in 1:25.
that's the fastest time ever for any of my stoves. If you need to heat something fast this is the stove for it.
Luke, I like this stove and the price is a nice surprise! 🔥
Very cool
Here in Canada it's about 35 bucks off of AliExpress for that stove
Sounds like the space shuttle taking off. Lol.
