- Well after quite a few months of no fishing due to medical issues, it was great to finally dust the rods off, replace the line and go fishing for a couple of hours. I didnt want to go too mad, so chose a spot very local, with only a short walk. Well I havent fished there in donkeys years, but it ended up being an enjoyable session with a few fish.

hahaha cheers, I dont think I could get the old chap beach fishing. The last time he went was taking me as a kid. It wont be long before we are in the boat

@@beanysfishing2555 I went dunwich yesterday was crap till 2 hrs down then got 6 dogfish and a starry-eyed hound plus whiting .
@@PaulMills-ue9eg I had my fish on Friday all on the ebb at Caister. Someone else fished later, but didnt have anything on the flood.

Great to see you back out fishing again, nice mix of fish. I hope I can make it back to the beach this year. Local tackle shop in Diss is closed so have to find another for bait.
Small tackle shops are closing everywhere, its only the big boys or mail order that seems to keep going
Now if you caught a sausage on that last cast I would be impressed. Good to see you out having a crack after the past few months. Onwards and upwards.

Great to see you back out on the beach mate 🎣 I fished Scratby yesterday last 3hrs of the ebb and 1st 2hrs of the flood. Plenty of fish on the ebb like yourself but not a fish on the flood. Like you say weed is a bit of a pain.
Cheers, I was tempted to go down Scratby. Its strange how it goes when the tide changes. Up north beach a couple of days ago, I was told the fish were mainly on the flood.
@@beanysfishing2555 yep weird how it goes mate. There’s no pattern to it really. We did manage small bass and flounders in the mix which is a good sign. Like you say give it a couple of weeks 🤞🎣

I given up on fishing with a leader and just fish 60lb braid straight through, has been so much better for both bite detection and weed…
Yes, a lot of people have gone the braid route, but with multis, it doesnt work so well
Don’t know if that’s you on the boat of Yarmouth north beach now. If so you’ve hit plenty of seals following your need 😂
