Enjoyable video good to see you out and about . when I fished your local beaches going back 15 years I used to catch lots of codling between Scratby and Trimingham now they are so scarce I watch Pond Pete's match channel regularly and I haven't seen any Codling caught by the match boys either .Olive in the west country now and they are rare her to
@@peteretheridge3309 Yes, about 15 years ago was the last codling run of any number. I had one on the beach a year or so ago. The sea is so warm now, that all the codling are moving north
Great day mate, you did nearly as well as that bloke that goes out on his boat with his Dad using nets. Better session than last time, well done mate, you're looking almost like your old self again, take care, Norfolk Ray
Hahaha I need to lose some timber! Piled it on doing bugger all for a few months. Nice to start being able to get out and about. Hope you are keeping well
the i max shelters ive been told are good but i personally have a shakespeare shelter that i brought of the car boot for 25 quid and i used it alot still going good best 25 pounds ive spent on any fishing gear.
If you haven’t sorted this yet maybe take your cover to a seamstress or sail maker and get a price for a new one? Or have ago yourself and make a video?
Its still in a tatty state. The material has hardened over the years. They do make a very similar shelter, a modern copy, but I think getting one made would be very good quality, but bloody expensive
You never cease to amaze with your happy go lucky attitude, good on ya keep it up.
Thanks, you have never met me when I’m tired and grumpy hahahha
Hi Beany that was a good bit of fun ,nice to see you getting back into it mate
Cheers mate, getting them two dabs first cast and nothing for an hour and a half!

Hi beany, looks like u had a lovelly day ,and stop getting excited u thought u were in Ann summers again😮😊😂
hahahaah It was a nice day. Well the vibration on the rod was very odd!
There was half a dead seal washing about there most weekend too a little bit further down towards the ramp. My dogs enjoyed rolling on that!!
Theres so many seals here now, there is always a dead one here and there. I know a few mates dogs have rolled in them, the smell is interesting!

Yes, Ive had the beach buddy so long, and everything is metal on it, so it lasts.
Even the seals took that weekend off!!
hahaha we have 12000 here, they never take a weekend off!
I like to look of the Tronix Pro snug shelter. It seems pricy though but looks very lightweight and easy to put up which would be a bonus for me.
I will have to have a look cheers
nice few bits and bats and got to be better than playing blankety blank
Oh yeah, different world. Its nice to see a few fish
Have dogfish numbers increased in norfolk recently? Seen quite a few norfolk vids with them in recently
Yes, the sea is alive with them. Sound to be alive with smooth hounds too!
Is it easier for the bass to chase the smaller fish on the ebb tide?
I dont know, the major difference, is there is always more colour in the water on an ebb tide than there is the flood here

Id seriously be back down both tides til just after the full moon if it remains that calm.
I dont know, theres a really high pressure at the moment, Ive never done that well in a high pressure
Thougtht you'd got a good'un when you pulled that plastic in. Least you didn't blank this time.
No, a few fish make a big difference.
We call that weed down south, tobacco weed, buggered if I know why, lol,
Haha people call different things strange names. No one knows why or where it originated
