@@BrassFactsIt holds zero if you put a Black Mantis rail on it, I run a DBAL-A3 on the end of mine - 5k rounds through mine with no issues, FE model. It's my favorite bullpup, use a TA110 w/ a T-2 up top, perfect setup.
@@Malfunctioning im going to try the black lbl one. I'm majorly ass chapped that my 2000 dollar gun doesn't hold zero on the rail, and requires a over priced 500 dollar one to fix it.
@@Instananners got a video coming out very soon w/ @BrassFacts where we shot the RDB and the MDRX for a week. But I'll do a more proper video about the RDB itself in the future.
I have one of these with the Geissele Super Sabra trigger with the Lightning Bow, and it completely changes the feel. It's amazing. Better than most of the AR triggers I've shot.
I was weighing between the Tavor X95 and the Desert Tech MDRX, but went for the Tavor X95. I'm glad I did. I kept reading and hearing 50/50 reviews from owners of the MDRX, and for the price after taxes its $2900. That's too much for something that's 50/50. I wish the kinks would get ironed out on the MDRX.
😂Wise choice. MDRX gave me more issues than RDB, both very civ hobby rifles in design and quality... Not even comparable to X95 in terms of reliability and robustness.
You made the right choice. I bought the MDRX for the AGB and multi-caliber conversions. They doubled the cost of the conversion right after I bought it... and I reload and it destroys the brass. It was a pretty "meh" shooting experience.
Based and bullpuppilled. The X95 is a great package right out of the box, even the trigger which I find to be perfectly serviceable. The only replacement part I've gotten is the shootingsight recoil spring, which is made for suppressors but still runs 100% reliably unsuppressed while taming the recoil impulse noticeably.
I tried the Manticore charging handle, but went back to the original, which just feels sturdier to me. I also installed a conventional (IDF standard) pistol grip. After watching a number of videos, I finally noticed how a chest rig can be an issue when reloading. My biggest grip is brass face when I switch shoulder and shoot left-side; but I will keep trying to find a position that keeps my face well back. All told, I really like mine, but I can't say that I would ditch my AR.
My wife loves the Tavor X95! Especially suppressed with OSS HuxWrx HX-QD 762Ti. The Tritium-powered Meprolight (with aux LED, polarizer and flash-hider) and matching 3x flip-out magnifier are also a hit with her. Says she prefers it over the LWRC IC AR-15 with full EOtech rig. It may be that the X95 is 'prettier' in OD (than LWRC), maybe better weight-balance, reduced kick-back or it's uniqueness? Both are fitted with upgraded triggers - so it's not that. Geissele Super Sabre + Lightning Bow on X95 is just as good 'feel' as SSA-E on the LWRC - my opinion.
Great videos! I love the style how they are presented and produced. Sir, you have a new follower... keep the good videos rolling. Btw. with this mustache you will soon have more woman viewer as Flanell Daddy 😊😅😅😅
To save money the IDF is replacing the Tavor's with M4's that can be purchased using funds from the US Annual Military Aid, while the Tavor is purchased from the IDF local budget. While the M4 is assigned to the regular military units, and the Tavor is being assigned to the reserve units.
My wife is a woman and she loves my X95. Compact size, Geissele trigger pack and shoe, very easy rifle to shoot. I'd love to put on an original IDF buttplate to shorten the length of pull, but installing that $20 plastic buttplate would be a federal crime. Boo hiss
Another thing to mention is that IWI parts availability isn't even a funny joke. Absolutely unforgivable for such expensive rifles. It's so poor and easily the worst part of owning one, to the point where it's a major deciding factor in buying an X95.
Heavy, not super customizable, nearly no spare parts availability, mildly picky about what I feed her, can't suppress it. but I do love my 13" X95 SBR.
If you have nearly $2k to waste on a subpar, at best, gun, then go ahead. I did. I'll keep it because I can but it will mostly collect dust and only be shot occasionally with friends who never fired one before. It is clunky, unwieldy, awkward and heavy.
I agree that it’s subpar to non-bullpup rifles. But if you WANT something that’s not an AR15 derivative, then I would say this is the best you can get. Not everything needs to be the best at it all or needs to have a reason other than want.
@ Agree. And if you can afford it, it's nice to have for shits and giggles and to let others experience. I'll keep mine. It looks cool on my gun wall. And it is a 16.5" brl. in a 10.5" AR pkg. But the unwieldy/awkward is just too much. I just don't want peep's getting sucked into buying it that need a gpr. Get a somewhat tricked/tuned AR.
Let's pump those women viewer numbers up. Those are rookie numbers.
This is the gun I should have bought instead of a MDRx

@@Instananners it's a heavy gun, and the front end doesn't hold zero. Outside of that, I'm not really sure what it does better than the x95.
Was looking at the desert tech way back when I got my SAR. Just too much money and there were issues. I think.

I'm enjoying my RDB, especially because it suppresses so well vs the Tavor. But the accessory rails on the X95 are unbeaten.
I’m going to be honest - I totally forgot about Kel-Tec, and that’s my bad. Looking forward to seeing your video on it if you end up making one
