I'm a true crime junkie and live in San Antonio where this took place. The fathers of her children were all very vocal about Nicole being a wonderful mother and despite their relationships not working out they all held her in high regard and had great co-parenting relationships. Also, I didn't hear you talk about the security cameras. This home id located in a prestigious, EXPENSIVE neighborhood. The home had several security cameras throughout the home which were CONVENIENTLY disabled at the time. If they were disabled that points to premeditation!!! Charlie killed them. She was beautiful, successful and loved by many. Absolutely no reason for her to kill herself or her daughters!

I don’t want to skip ahead of the investigation but my gut feeling is he killed them all. She was trying to leave him. I am inclined to believe the friends as they mentioned common symptoms of mental abuse, like the fact she became withdrawn, her friend would not visit the house because of his behaviour. The loss of these beautiful souls is devastating and I hope this is solved quickly so the family can try and get on with their lives. Thank you for covering this case. I actually don’t like calling them cases as I feel like it undermines the tragedy. From now on I might call them a tragedy. If any of the family are reading these comments, much love to you and I hope you can find some peace in your hearts.

The son was raised by his father a majority of his life. At one point she failed to even pay child support for him and was behind $24,000 in back payments. The court had to order her employers to withhold her wages to claim those child support payments she owes.
During interviews with Nichol, she admitted that she 'was not a very good mother' to Skylar when he was young because she was young and immature herself," the social worker wrote.
In March 2014, while living with a boyfriend in an upscale home near The Dominion, Olsen was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor assault.
Olsen told a deputy that she and her 39-year-old boyfriend had been fighting and that he “dragged me out of the house,” a sheriff’s report shows. She appeared very intoxicated, but spoke softly and politely, the deputy wrote.
Olsen said she was mad because she had called her boyfriend for a ride, but he didn’t answer. When she arrived home, she saw something on his phone about another woman. She then struck him in the face with an open hand, according to the sheriff’s report. “Yes, I admit, I did hit him first,” she told the deputy.
The boyfriend had a bruise on his left eye and an abrasion on his knee, the report states. He told the deputy he took Olsen to the ground during the altercation because “she was hitting me.”
The assault charge against Olsen was dismissed nearly a year later because of the boyfriend’s lack of cooperation, records show.

The biggest red flag about Charlie’s story being untrue is the fact that he said he removed himself from the home to let things cools off. I too am a single mom of a daughter the exact same age as the eldest daughter. She too is a cheerleader at a high school located a few miles from Clark High School. I’ve also been in an abusive relationship, and I just KNOW she did not kill her girls. She had worked so hard her entire adult life for these kids. So they can all go off to college, and have an easier way of life than she had. Why would she kill them all of a sudden? She LOVED them. She had hopes and dreams for them. I personally think Charlie is guilty. I feel like he killed the kids first for two reasons: First, to torture their mother by making her watch; and second so he could set up the murder/suicide theory. I just get the vibe from all the drink driving charges and abusive behaviour etc that he's a spoiled rich guy who thinks he's above the law and too selfish to care about anyone he might be putting in danger. I also think he's very smart and cunning enough to fool the people in his life into thinking he's a decent guy. I really think this was all about spite and control.

Yeah my guess is she has gun residue all over her hence why they’re so confident to close the case. She’s had a hard life, countless failed relationships and loses, if she placed all her eggs into one basket and then it fails again she may have just had enough. You just don’t know when the last straw will be for everyone.
The way the body was placed side by side like that is an act of someone who cares about the victims. If the bf did it he most likely wouldn’t be lining them together like that, he’d most lily kill them in their rooms and deal with her separately because she would be his main target of rage and violence.

Maybe she tried to call his mom,to see if she'd come get him,or to talk some sense into him if he was being violent. Then probably back out of the house as not to disturb the crime scene. Where did he go the night of the fight? What was the approximate time of death? Where were the wounds? She would clearly have powder burns on her hand. No offense, what woman doesn't flip out?! But doubtful she did it. Who's gun? Had she ever shot a gun? The very first time you fire a gun. Its undescibeable. You either hate it or you realize the potential of what's in your hand. Why kill the girls? I think something much deeper was going on. They lived in a gated community. So a bit unlikely they were murdered by another person. Back to where did he go.. His cell phone should have shown up on a tower somewhere. He never called her or she never called him to fix the situation?! I can keep going. But that could be a lot.. Bottom line.. I think he did it. Created the scene. Somehow escaped without being thoroughly examined. One last thing.. Living in a gated community?! Isn't there a gate or Security guard that would register his leaving and again on return. I think he did it. But would have to prove it. That's the problem.

I just want to say I live in the area of Texas and have for most of my life. I remember when this happened and while I've been on the fence about what really happened I noticed you left some things out. Charlie and Nichol lived in a monitored, gated community so if Charlie really left when he said he did there's evidence of that. Also there's no real evidence of Charlie being abusive to Nichol ot her children except what Nichol's friends have reported. I'm not saying that her friends reports don't matter or aren't relative I'm just stating there's no police reports or anything like that. There's also a phone call from earlier that day between Nichol and a friend who had made plans previously to take their daughters to audition for AGT. In the phone call tho Nichol's friend stated Nichol had canceled the plans and said she was going to enroll London in voice lessons instead. She also mentioned getting Alexis involved in a church group or something but the friend reported Nichol was acting very strange and erratic. She had wanted to call her back when the phone call ended but her husband convinced her not too. There was also a text message from Alexis's phone to Charlie asking if he was home and stating Nichol was talking to herself with a frightened emoji. Also the 911 calls from Nichol's phone were all disconnected before a dispatcher could answer except 1 but it was disconnected before anyone said anything and the dispatcher tried calling back but no one answered. Shortly after the tragedy occurred Charlie sold the house and moved to Austin which is strange IMO. The father's of the girls filed the wrongful death suits against Charlie when they did because the statute of limitations on doing so was almost up. I really think we need to remember, while we're all entitled to our own opinions, none of us knew any of them. I feel Rachel's telling of this case is really biased but she doesn't know any of them either. There's a reason police haven't been able to make any arrests in this case or even say exactly what happened here. There are always 3 sides to every story: your side, their side, and the truth. I really hope law enforcement is able to find out exactly what happened that night but I'm not confident they will at this point.

The investigators should’ve tested her hands for gunshot residue from the very beginning… something that caught my attention was that one of the daughters had 2 gunshot wounds unlike the others whom had just the single shot... Maybe Charlie already thought of this and used Nichol’s hand to fire the separate shot into the neck after they were all already dead. This would put residue on her hands. And then he had plenty of time to clean himself up by having the excuse that he had left and stayed with a friend. But if the ballistics team paid close attention to the evidence, the amount of gunshot residue would definitely prove whether or not she was guilty because if she had done it, there would be quite a bit more residue if she had shot 4 times compared to just the one (if Charlie had used her hand in order to place the residue there) it would prove that she hadn’t done it! There’s a significant difference between firing one gunshot compared to four shots!! 🧐🤔 I hope that this was examined further! I’m speechless that the department was so quick to label this a murder suicide when, in my opinion, this case is screaming complete homicide!!! And I’m very shocked and surprised that this is the first time I’ve heard anything about this case… I strongly believe that Charlie is 100% guilty but he’s able to afford the best representation that money can buy. I hope and pray that justice is served. And Nichol’s family is in my thoughts and prayers as well. This is such a heartbreaking case!

I have an extremely hard time believing a woman who has been through SO MUCH and who quite frankly must be used to being disappointed by men would be so upset over relationship problems that she would want to do something this drastic. Plus, it sounds like she adored her kids SO much and was planning to move out with them into an apartment without him! I mean, it sounds like he really had to chase her down and talk her into being with him, he sounds kind of like he was obsessed with her and would be much more likely to do something drastic. I highly doubt that she was trying to call his mom and then 911 multiple times because she was worried about what SHE was going to do, it's far more likely that HE was doing something. Also...when someone "cries hysterically" with no tears at all that's always a big red flag...just putting that out there. If he not only killed them all but is now blaming her for killing her own children I don't know how anything sicker than that.

The fact that the girls were found next to Nichol tells me that the girls probably heard arguing or fighting and went to defend their mom. Charlie probably already had the gun, just waving it around and threatening them. The girls probably pleaded with Charlie to stop and he probably shot the girls first to hit Nichol right where it hurts..I think the worst thing ever would be to watch your children die in front of you. After that i think he killed her and started building his case.

And what motive would he have? They weren't married. They had no kids. All he had to do was tell her she had to leave or evict her. He wasn't dependant on her at all. She went through the mud and the muck as a young girl while raising her son and brother and came out ahead and then proceeded to also raise two girls for another 10 years and then suddenly she snaps? Conveniently after having a fight with her abusive boyfriend who also conveniently left to “cool off”. Then he tried to contact them all for a long time but he didn’t leave until 10pm so wouldn’t they have gone to bed by then? None of that makes sense. What does make sense though is that a narcissistic abuser killed his girlfriend and her kids and staged it to look like a murder suicide and then left, called their phones that he knew they wouldn’t answer, then “found” them in the morning and stood on the lawn crying crocodile tears. Yeah.
People who want to murder someone should just start with themselves and innocent people out of it, especially children. And also the 911 calls were just butt dials right?
The most dangerous time for an abuse victim is when they are trying to leave their abuser.

Also the girls probably had information about how Charlie treated their mom or them so if Nicole was found deceased the girls would spill the beans on Charlie. This is a really sad case. I just really don’t think Nicole killed her kids or herself. I pray the case gets solved and the truth comes out.

@@ShanaLawson very true, I did some research and she was charged with domestic violence in 2014. The BF at the time failed to go to court so it was dropped. She gave her bf a black eye.
She’s had a lot of trauma in her life, losing both parents. Her mother was a severe alcoholic, her father was in prison for awhile before he got out and then died of a heroin overdose. She never had any sense of stability in her life, then with her many failed relationships and marriages all while she was still very young. To deny that all that wouldn’t be traumatizing to her psyche would be very odd. She also failed to pay child support for her son and owes the father 24,000 courts told her work place to withhold her wages to pay back what she owes. Her history is not that of someone who is stable or morally right that’s for sure.
****In March 2014, she was charged with domestic assault but the charges were later dropped when the witness failed to appear in court.
His certainly a major narcissist that’s for sure but she certainly displays characteristics that is highly capable of this heinous crime. That’s my opinion after doing my own research, this video is missing a lot of information and brushes over her history like it’s irrelevant in the crime here. The girls wouldn't have just stood, laid or whatever looking their mom in the face while she shot them. NO WAY.
