    Such a sad story ❤️ thank you for sharing Amanda’s story. I used to live in Chicopee and followed the report on the news. I attended a City and Colour concert, and Amanda’s family passed Dallas Green (the singer) a note explaining Amanda’s story and requesting a song to be played in her honor. Dallas was so moved by her story and needed a moment to collect himself before playing the song for Amanda. The crowd held a moment of silence, and everyone had chills listening to the song. Such a beautiful moment of honoring Amanda, and I hope it brought her family some comfort ❤️

    Omg!!! So I’m a practice manager at a veterinary hospital. I had hired a girl about a year ago, and I’m young so I tend to get along with people we hire and become friendly. We got on the topic of true crime at one point. Her boyfriend is a sheriff’s deputy. There was a young boy (17 years old) who had recently been murdered over something ridiculous, and found in a rural area of a neighboring small town. Apparently, her boyfriend did exactly what those officers did, took personal photos of the body. She had them, and showed them to me. I was taken back but didn’t say anything in the moment. We ended up firing her for something unrelated a couple weeks later, within a few days I was on the phone with internal affairs, because that’s someone’s child, not a trophy to show off. No idea what happened with the deputy, but I do know he and that girl are no longer together.

There has been no other UA-camr or UA-cam video on the case at all for that matter .. its absolutely heartbreaking , a whole entire family (including extended family) among 4 homes on the same kind of property .. 8 family members murdered execution style in their homes and 4 of the children were left alone and found in the beds with their deceased parents 💔 ugh , there's soo much more to this crazy case and I'm so surprised that nobody has ever covered it.

    • @fancifulimpression
      @fancifulimpression 4 роки тому +11

      Penny Nickles why would you defend this action? Look what I have to deal with at work is small things and frustrations not look at this person who has been brutally murdered. A person who has loved ones and doesn’t deserve to have been degraded in that way.

    • @colinthemarines3567
      @colinthemarines3567 4 роки тому +9

      Penny Nickles If you could see yourself doing it, then we can thank God you’re not a cop. These people take an oath to protect and serve and are FULLY aware of what is right and wrong when it comes to handling crime scenes. You can bet that they would be absolutely disgusted if *their* loved one was treated like that, but because she was a stranger, they treated her like an object instead of a human being.
      You go to a counselor when you need to talk about intimate details of people involved in your work. A counselor is required by law to keep those details private. You don’t spread them around to show off how “intense” your job is. Again, they know all of this going in to the job, and if they can’t abide by the minimum of respecting someone as a fellow human being, they should never, ever work as a police officer.

      Epic Gamer Yeah I figured :/ I remember trying to look it up a few years ago and there was barely any info other than how and where they found her. There have been a lot of mysterious deaths in Chicopee that the police label as suicides. They’re always found in the river months later. Like Achim, and the other black man that when missing a year or two before him. His name is escaping me at the moment. I’m not a conspiracy theorist but it’s hard not to see a pattern

      I absolutely LOVE that she does so many unsolved cases too! Cases that involve “Unsolved Disappearances” are 💯 without a doubt my FAVORITE true crime sub-genre! 😍🤓🧐 To be honest, that is why I actually fell in love with this channel in the first place lol but I definitely also enjoy when she interjects a case with a resolution in here every now and then too! 👏🏻….also, I couldn’t *possibly* agree with you more when it comes to thinking that Rachel does SUCH an incredible job with her content on this channel! It’s SO obvious (to me, least 🤷🏼‍♀️ lol) that she really takes the time to do her research thoroughly and that she *always* makes sure to address ALL of the relevant details to each case she covers…yet somehow she still always manages to do all of that with the utmost respect in mind for the victims and also to their families who may someday find themselves watching one of her videos. In my opinion, she TRULY is such a class act….just judging by the time we all spend with her here on UA-cam, I feel like you can completely tell that she is incredibly intelligent and just a genuinely decent and kind human being…qualities which the importance and rarity of simply can’t be overestimated in this crazy world we all live in today lol 🙈
      Rachel-in the slim chance that you ever read this comment-I think you are INCREDIBLE! Thank you SO much for all of the time and hard work you invest in each of these videos for us! You truly do awesome work and anyone who says otherwise is either a hater, or just a complete moron-or quite possibly both! 🤣🤣🤣 lol

    It's hard to investigate a murder when they're spending all their time trying to cover their a$$. None of them were fired. And all they wanted to do was lie and cover up their negligence. Sad story. I'm glad it was solved. With no help from the police.

    Tragic story. I wish Amanda had called the cops on that animal back when it first broke into her home. I think she was a sweet girl but naive to believe that asking nicely for her bowl back would be effective with a savage like that. If she had called the cops and they had paid Dennis a visit, it probably would have scared the little cur into staying away from Amanda's apartment in the future.
    Im not blaming the victim: I just wish she had made that call.

    The conduct here, by law enforcement, is apalling and infuriating. And honestly I don't believe they ever figured out why she was murdered. It still could have been over nothing. Maybe she said no to him about something. In other cases, that has been all it has taken for a man to brutally murder a woman.
