    I purchased the 2024 Pro 4X early August and so far I really like it. Only a couple nitpicks so far, no locking gas cap, can only see the driver window button at night, would've liked the backseat to be able to recline vs sitting straight up, and maybe have the rear headrest able to fold down for better visibility.

    To be fair to Nissan, Auto Start/ Stop is required by law to be on by default in all new vehicles and can’t be permanently disabled. Good video tho, looking forward to seeing if a 2025 is on my menu👀

      YOU GOT ME STARTED! There is SMALL PRINT in regulation. The small print is "KEYLESS" vehicles are required to have auto start stop. When I read post I immediately wondered why my 2023 vehicle, manufactured in 2023, does NOT have auto start stop.

    I have a 22 SV an I don't have that start stop crap I'd be finding someone who would bypass or mod the start stop. My only nit pick is the trucks ride height and no integrated trailer brake.

      @@KNIGHTOFELEMIA-i7i ride hight could be higher, I do agree. Even still it does have the same ground clearance as the 3rd gen Tacoma TRD Pro. I think the Frontier having a taller body makes it appear lower then it is.

    The main thing that annoys me is the Fender without a Mid and subwoofer adjustment. The deaf guys at Panasonic/Fender should NOT be tuning everyones audio systems 😂. From experience the BFG's suck balls. I really like the General AT's, and Toyo\Nitto's. I'm also contemplating getting a Pro4x. Have Jeep XJ and Ram 2500 4x4 currently. Looking for a smaller trail truck.

      @@JJsGA Besides grip issues, they also suffer from early sidewall cracking. Ask me how I know. I had 2 sets of them crack within 5 years and 1 blow out because of it at 70mph. I contacted BFG and they said they were aware of the issue but only offered a 25% off coupon for my next purchase. WRONG move dude. They lost me as a customer and I went to Nitto\Toyo. Far superior, almost no weights needed, no cracking after 6 years now, and unbelievable grip. I had the same experience with General. Both great companies.

    Any more thoughts on the fender audio system, good bad or otherwise?

    • @JJsGA
      @JJsGA  Місяць тому

      @@kalashnikovbob355 overall it's not a bad system once you do dial it in. Keep in mind sound quality is subjective to the individual user and I must admit, I don't have the best ears lol.
      But...
      While the mids are preset by Fender (Panasonic), I find the highs to not be bright enough for my preference. A brighter set of speakers in the front doors or up in the dash will help elevate the sound stage.
      I'm personally fine with how the subs operate but other users have found that swapping in a pair of 6.5in JL's into the factory box does net an improvement and they run off the factory Amp just fine.
      For a factory setup it's more then adequate to get the job done and it's better then a bunch of other systems I've had out of the box. Just a few tweaks could really make it pop.
      Hope this helps, but honestly check one out in person and play around with it...you may have a different preference on the sound.

    I have a 22 KingCab 4x4. No start/ stop junk. I have farm a 6ft bed is far valuable than a back seat. Same engine and transmission but 25k cheaper trust me deer do not care if you have overpriced rims or steelies. I think everyone has forgotten what trucks were designed for in the first place. During the space race NASA paid a million dollars of our tax money to design a pen for the Apollo astronauts to use in zero gravity. The Russians used pencils Sometimes simple is better!

    • @JJsGA
      @JJsGA  Місяць тому

      @@Frontier2022 cool. For your purpose the 6 foot is better. For mine, the back seat is more valuable. That's not to say I don't use the 5 foot bed. I do. Often acutally. And best believe living in northern Michigan right in deer country I know all about them lol.
      But I think a lot of the older generation has forgotten or doesn't want to acknowledge that trucks have become multi purpose vehicles these days, they fill more roles. For me that's more cost effective then having multiple vehicles (which we've done)
      A lot of things were a lot simpler back in the day. But from one veteran to another.
