Hello, I have used the foam brush with the mod podge and just ran them under water just where the mod podge is while squeezing the foam until I saw clear water then squeezed out any excess water left in it. I'm a frugal hunter instead of getting rid of them. Your designs are very nice.
Thank you for all the detailed information, as I am looking to set up to make tumbler. Love your set up and explanation of tumbler tuner. God bless your business!!
I have to ask several questions, but I will ask them later...I really just had to stop and let you know how awesome you are. Congratulations on your growth and success. Very detailed and thorough! Thank you!
Hi!!! I just wanted to say that my Cameo is on its way in the mail. I instantly wanted to start making beautiful tumblers soooo badly! So I started watching your videos for HOURS everyday. I am so nervous and excited! I also found someone who I can buy a turner from locally for a reasonable price. I can’t wait to make beautiful creations like you. I have watched many channels, but yours are by far my favorite! very kid and clear and easy to understand 😀 I wish you were my local friend to help me get started.
Thank u so much for sharing ur wonderful ideas n all the info needed to make them. It takes a special kind of person to do that especially when u make a living selling these things. Again, thank u so very much!!!
Great tutorials, thanks for sharing such a pretty craft. Have done a few glasses for friends bdays and hope they’re enjoying them as much as I enjoyed personalizing each one. In regards to using decals, which look great, any decals do or are they specific ones?
I really appreciate the level of detail you provide! Thank you so much for sharing your expertise! I have 12 wine glasses that I've glittered. I want to watch all your videos before I epoxy! 😁
What's the importance of Epoxy? I have to do a few mom I apple cider bottles for prom. I just need to seal the glitter... Can I just us the enamel sealer in the can u showed? Also would u recommend fine glitter or the thicker glitter? I thank u so much for ur relpies and help. God Bless every craft u touch💕
your so sweet, thanks for all these , I have a lot of what you use , but love the handy wax papers , I am going to have to get those . thanks so much again.
When doing a glitter cup what do you think would be better the crystal clear enamel or the spray universe clear durable top coat? I have seen you use two different ones.
Hi, I went to the website you recommended during this video for glitter (Bulk glitters.com) and wow was totally clueless LOL! So many choices.. So my question is; Will all of them work or are there certain kinds to avoid? Thanks. Misty
This is how I navigate bulkglitters... I go to bulkglitters.com Click on Polyester Then click on one of the subcategories (Metallic, pearlescent, iridescent, holographic, or fluorescent) Then click the "By the jar" option Then I just find the glitter I want and click on the circle and choose the jar size I want. 3/4 of an ounce you can get at least 2-3 tumblers done in it. It depends on your application method. Epoxy method you can do more with a base coat of a similar color.
I am going to attempt to make my first tumbler this week. How long do I need to let the epoxy dry before putting decals? Also once I place decals and final coat of epoxy how long do I let it dry the 2nd time? And lastly what if I don't have a rotisserie how and where should I place the tumblers to dry? Any help is appreciated.
Thank you for making these wonderful videos! You are very informative and easy to follow and understand. I have learned so much from you!!! Please keep the videos coming!!! Thx again! 😁
How funny how you popped back with more supplies lol. Question though which glitter company you recommend the best? I havent used chunky glitter yet and I'm planning on using it but which company you recommend? I've read stories on how the change and lose shimmer or the glitter shine. I use the one micheal sells and recollections.
I have a bunch linked in here. Featherbear Bling, glitzy city, peachy olive, southern bell, bright eyed Bling, painted valley designs are a few of my favs, but I like a love and use of them.
i was the same way but FINALLY made one and haven't stopped since. it's definitely a learning process but i do learn something new with each cup i make to help make it better for the next one. don't get discouraged! good luck!!! Mindy is awesome to learn from =)
You can also put rubbing alcohol in a mason jar to clean your brushes. You use the same technique as cleaning paint brushes used with paint. I am an artist and after you clean your brush use soap to finish cleaning.
A quick question!! After u put ur first later of epoxy n u don't want to apply a decal, do u still need to wet sand? Now if u do, what weight sandpaper do u use for the wet sanding? Also, when do u use the acetone n why? Do u just apply in between the layers of epoxy so they stick or don't get sticky? Thank u!!
Sue Shaytar I only sand if I need to have a smooth surface and don’t. I have a sanding tutorial with everything linked in the description. Acetone is used to wipe down cup after sanding to remove any dust.
Thanks for this video, very helpful. You mentioned using acetone to wipe down the glasses when they're all finished. Did you mean that you wipe acetone all over the part of the glass that you glittered, or just around the top of the glass to clean up any residue? Again, thanks.
@@jennifergrubbs9931 If you click on "Videos" on my main channel and then scroll down there are several to choose from to see the different turners I've made. I didn't do a "tutorial" on how to create them...but I go over the basics of how I made them.
Yep! Epoxy is better for the smooth as glass look but does require personal protection equipment which is hard to get your hands on right now because of the COVID-19.
I absolutely love your videos. Great work! I am interested in making some of these but I'm completely new to the craft. What I'd like to know is what kind of printer it is that I'd need to purchase and what app I would need on my computer.
Is glitter from the sight that you mention have a better shine or are better quality than tWalmart, hobby lobby or any of the local stores. I can’t seem to know where to buy the best glitter. By the way your videos are great, just subscribed!!
It all depends on the quality of the material used and the cuts. With Walmart and craft stores...they generally carry craft glitter or plastic PET glitter. The individual sellers and sites that I link, most of them sell a higher quality Polyester glitter and it lays flatter and has more shimmer. It depends on what you're going for and the quality and pricepoint you want.
I have been looking for the tree line you used in your Northern Lights video and cannot find it anywhere. Similar ones are available but I love the different heights of yours. Can you lead me in the right direction?
Check out my supplies videos...I have all the links to the suppliers I recommend in there. :) You seal your glitter with epoxy and then these are hand wash only. There is no glitter on the outside so they can be washed in water with a nonabrasive cloth. No dishwasher though.
Hi again! I noticed in another one of your videos you were using an aerosal type sealer to seal what do you use? I've tried the mod podge, (aerosal and the kind that you brush on) I wait till dry, brush it to remove fallout glitter but no matter what I use I still get quite a bit of fallout. Am I not adding enough? What would you suggest? Thanks Misty
I brush after the mod podge or epoxy has dried. This gets the excess off. Then I seal it. I know some seal it prior to brushing. If it's coming off, you aren't sealing it enough. I use either Rustoleum Clear durable top coat or Trip Thick crystal clear glaze.

Alex Mlinarchik You can slightly sand the area you’ll be applying your mod podge to help it adhere. I also wipe mine with acetone to make sure there are no oils or anything on the cup.
What is the difference between the Waverly chalk paint and acrylic paint for the cup? Is it that one sticks better to the cup then the other or is it just another option for the spray paint

How much ventilation do you need when applying the epoxy. For some reason I feel like I need to do this outside, but I see all application indoors. I love your videos they have so much useful information. Thanks!!!
Hi !! I was watching your UA-cam channel yesterday and today. & I was just wondering what the difference between Fx premium epoxy and faux rizzle epoxy and do you mix the two together
They are two different epoxies...similar companies and make ups, but they are different. I don't mix them together. I generally have been using the FX Premium but am trying out (and loving) a new company called Counter Culture DIY (Acrylic Pouring Resin).
The painting depends on the look you're going for. Glitter is more vibrant if it's transparent/iridescent if it has a base color of either white or a similar color. Because of this I usually do apply a base coat of color. Mod podge can be used to apply the glitter. There are also several other adhesive options (Epoxy, loctite, etc). It's not really a replacement for paint.

What is the size of the black elastic band you buy? I clicked on the link you posted and ordered the one that came up on amazon but when I received it it looks a lot wider than what you use.
Chelsey Hernandez all sand paper will do that if the epoxy is not thick enough and/or the glitter isn’t a poly glitter that has color throughout. Be sure your layer of epoxy or two layers is thick enough before sanding.
Thank you so much for sharing I’ve never done a cup but am ready to take the plunge you have listed several epoxy types I am new as stated before which would be the best for me to use or does it matter which one I purchase? The epoxy is what scares me the most lol! TIA
Milagros Arango It doesn’t matter. As long as it’s mixed appropriately the brand doesn’t matter. Alumilite takes a bit longer to setup but is a cheaper option than Ultra Clear or premium FX.
Lisa Underwood Depends on if I base coat or not. Less if I do, more if I don’t. Method also plays a part in how much. As does cup size. I probably use 1/4oz or less per cup.
Julie Dickinson The heat gun can be purchased at harbor freight or any other hardware type store or online. I also use little pin like sticks and they were a gift so I have no idea!

Minderella1225 how much epoxy does it take per wine glass. Love them
Debbie12 I didn’t measure. Guessing 15-20ml
Minderella1225 thank you I found your vedio on the expoy thank you.
Thank u very much!! I really appreciate the info.
Hi, is the crystal clear enamel a substitute for he epoxy? If not, at what stage do u use it?
Princess Marie No, it’s used to seal the glitter so it doesn’t move when I apply epoxy
gr8! thanks.
Loving all your videos. About how much glitter do you use per cup?
Lisa Underwood Depends on if I base coat or not. Less if I do, more if I don’t. Method also plays a part in how much. As does cup size. I probably use 1/4oz or less per cup.
Where did you purchase the silver stick that you use to pop the bubbles in your epoxy video?
Julie Dickinson The heat gun can be purchased at harbor freight or any other hardware type store or online. I also use little pin like sticks and they were a gift so I have no idea!
I know I'm late to the party but wondering if I could use acetone nail polish remover?
100% acetone works best. 👍🏻
What can you use to anchor your cup without a rotisserie? Also, what grip sand paper do you use?
I hand turned and have several videos on here on what I used. I use 400 grit usually.
@@MinderellaCreations thank you, I'll look for the videos 😁🤗
Minderella do you buy the stainless cups in bulk ,if so where do you purchase them from ?
Kandy Garner I buy from a supplier directly.
Minderella1225 Thank you for sharing & responding!
Hi Minderella! What was the name of the guy who makes the hole in the footballs?
hi. i saw a video yesteday and I subscribe to your channel. i went buy a few stuff and today my cup is ready for the epoxy. i saw a few more videos but im scare to start with the epoxy part beause i dont have the tuner machine and if i apply the epoxy how I put to dry? do i need the turner?
Denise Pagan You need a way to turn it Yes. I started doing mine on a wooden spoon hanging off a pot, held down with a weight. 👍🏻
what is epoxy? i saw the sealant spray but not sure what epoxy you use or if its the same thing? sorry if you've covered this and I've missed.
Nikki Moss I have a few videos on the epoxy process. 👍🏻
wow thank you for your fast reply i have just watched an epoxy one but still not sure what to do with it. can i just use the glue as a sealant?
Nikki Moss depends on what you’re doing with it. You wouldn’t want it up by the mouth at all as it’s not FDA compliant.
Where did you purchase the 100 percent acetone? Thank you
I bought it off of amazon...a lot of places are now sold out though.

I love your videos! How much glitter do you normally use on one tumbler?
Shannon Duran It depends on which method you use and if you use a base coat etc. there’s no set specific amount that I’ve used.
