Thank you for taking your time to tell about the business side. I started doing this for fun. No advertisement but just posting videos of them turning on Instagram and Facebook. INSTANTLY I had orders like crazy! I've used your glitter and your videos to help me along the way and I thank you for all your hard work!
Thank you sooo much! I recently started making tumblers for all of my friends and family as gifts and they love them. I got a few orders now and I really needed this advice. Thank you so much. I want to make this a small side business. You are the best! I am going to order your glitter now 💖
After about 6 months of research, I made my first 2 cups yesterday. (I'm waiting on my 2nd coat of epoxy to dry right now actually😊) Just wanted to say thank you for all the amazing videos! I haven't watched a video I haven't liked, but yours are my favorite! Subscribed and waiting for your latest words of wisdom!
You're video is so informative! Thank you for taking the time in helping others start the Tumbler business. I've been researching all about diy Tumblers but haven't made a cup yet. Thanks again!
Thank you for this Video! I've seen others, and as informative as they were...yours was definitely the easiest to follow, and by looking over your shoulder, the gorgeous colors made me purchase 5! Your amazing for trying to help all of us small business owners!! I appreciate you!
I’m so glad I found this channel! Lately I have been contemplating working from home and starting a small business here in Florida. I love crafts and making stuff so I came across a tiktok of someone making tumblers and I was instantly obsessed with the idea!! I would love to have a mentor of some type!!
You are absolutely amazing. I have looked for people to help me get started and i am sick on your UA-cam channel. Thank you for all of you information and time. I just ordered a bunch of glitter from you and it’s going to be here today!!! Again thank you, your soooo great❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for all the helpful info! I just paused your video to check on the glitter I already ordered.. and darn it is by volume. But at least now I know for future orders. I got a little ahead of myself and should have watched more videos.
lots of good information....thanks for not speaking on things you did not know such as taxes. I agree that people should research bc everyone's situation is not the same 🙃 I have a ton of glitter chimp btw and I can't wait to use it!
How many hours I spent.... welp I guess my cups are 10,000 a piece I just started and spent 3 days with one cup turning😱 I’m tired boss lol and this was on a dollar tree to practice on
I was thinking about starting a tumbler business and also a glitter business. Not for sure how to get started on the glitter business like where to buy the glitter in bulk, what supplies to buy, etc.
This video is amazing!!! Thank you for taking the time and teach others! For the vinyl stickers do you print and cut? That is a great idea to put your logo on everything!! I never thought of that! Thank you!
Thank you so much for all the information... I love to make stuff for friends and fund raising for local dog rescues so this was awesome info...i will have to order some glitter from you!!!
I love watching your videos they are so informative. i have talked with my husband about starting small and building a business and this video helped me so much. Our house isn't really big and our garage is not temperature controlled because we live in Ohio haha! Soo, what would your suggestion be on the kind of space to work on tumblers? Also, what is the easiest design to start with on tumblers and what is the hardest design? Thanks for all your hard work in bringing us these amazing, informative videos. :D
I love watching you, your personality is beautiful. Im trying to start designing tumblers now, it's relaxing. Which groups do you recommend for beginners
Amazing information! Thank you. Do you have a multi-cup turner? I’ve bought a single cup but things would go much faster if I could turn more at a time. Can’t wait to see your other videos!
I have a question, what is the best sand block/paper to use for sanding the cups? Also when using Mod Podge n then apply my Glitter, do you have to apply another coat of mod Podge n glitter before applying Epoxy? This is new to me, they are so pretty, I'm making my first cup today!!! I'd appreciate any help you can offer... Ty.... Monica
I have been making cups for about a year now and want to go further into the business. How do I go about calculating all my expenses and what I pay out and how do I divide that by how much I actually use per order to give a proper price and that way I know what I am making back in profit
Hi, i loved the video i wanted to see if you can show how to use the silhouette program to make svg's and transfer to cricut please and thank you. Frankly i feel like making svg's are hard but I'm not all to sure...
Finding out you're a Texan makes me want to buy all your glitter!!!! Lol.. BUT what I was waiting for was where does your glitter come from, who's your dealer?
# replay how do I get the silhouette program? I have a cricut as well. I went to their site but wasn’t sure which one to download. Thanks. Your video is great very clear.
It really depends. For me my base price includes up, apoxy, paint, vinyl, glitter, pans to put underneath as they turn, branded boxes, shipping boxes (I found a place to get them free but love branded look), bubble wrap, soap labels (for the underside of the cups), branded tissue (parchment paper Works to), my business cards, care label, and a ribbon or string to attach my label. All that together for me adds up to about $22. This does not include shipping because shipping does come out of their own pocket. This does not include the space that takes up in my home, any electricity that it uses, the motors and turning systems themselves, vinyl machine, the table etc.
Do you have to get a business license right out of the gate or is it considered a hobby until a certain amount of sales? Ive read mixed info about this
Nicole Petty if you are starting a business yes you will want to have your business license, EIN, DBA and register to pay sales tax if you have that in your state.
Irene Langloss thats very nice of you. I enjoy what I do to the max. I just lost my brother and making cups is really helping me occupy my mind but I have to make a profit otherwise I’m just giving stuff away 😂

I have a question: I've thought about doing this as a business and I'm curious to know if you think it is lucrative at this time-2 years after you posted this video. Thank you in advance for any info that anyone is willing to give!
Absolutely. I personally know several people who make over 100 tumblers a month. They started as a side hustle and it progressively grew to a full time business. I myself don’t make as many tumblers as that but I also sell Glitter full time. Tumblers are a great way to turn a hobby into a job.
I have been doing tumbler for about a year or so now was selling to just friends and family and word of mouth. I do a couple a week but have off times....I am looking to start as official business would I claim all the things I started up with or can I just start where I am now. Does that make since?
Best bit of advice is to just jump in! You will be surprised at how easy it is. Start with just a simple cup using one glitter. Or even two glitters. One ultra fine and one mixology glitter. It’s so fun!
Seriously thinking on getting started
My wife and I are thinking of starting a tumbler business. I have watched 90% of your videos. You're like "The Godfather" of tumblers. Thank you!!!

You'll need to consult a attorney or tax professional for that advice.

Great advice and tutorial, thank you
You mentioned (in this video or another, I can't remember) that you don't like to use vinyl, but stickers. What is the difference?
Have you used skinny tumblers-acrylic ? just wondering how well the designs will stick

Brenda Lee Herrera you would need to ask a CPA or accountant.

How do you pack your tumblers to be delivered?
You mentioned a bulk customer. How do you find your bulk customers?

Ok, thanks for the advice.

Hi, OMG look at all the colors behind you.. WHat?
Carrieann Holmgren yes it’s a lot!
New to doing tumblers...why do glitter color fade after a while...I heard this from someone else that it happens...so what is difference in glitters
Do you have sample cards that can be mailed for all colors of glitter you offer on your website?
Sorry we do not at this time. We just have too many different colors. Around 650 variations right now.
