Nice setups you have. My experience is that the Polini 202 pushes about 10kg more in a thrust bench. So it will be interesting to hear your experience in an actual flight comparison. Thx for sharing.
Factory R is wicked if it's making similar thrust. Good call on tuning the 202 to optimal. I swapped a PWK onto my 202 to gain access to an array of pilots and needles to better optimize the tune; keyword is "at all RPMs." The Factory R has that price tag, where a 202 is nearly the cost of a Moster estart.
@@williamrayburn5623 yes, I sold the Quattro to try the Polini. I’d like to try out several motors. Curious which is truly best. I will probably get another Quattro at some point. I really liked the Quattro and their customer service.
I would love to have the 202 but seen one melt a piston at a fly in and my flying partner just pulled the head off his for inspection to find the piston almost melted in the center. Just too much to try and get right on those tunes so I have to stick with the simplicity of the Moster, even though it drinks fuel. Can't wait for your fuel comparison!
The best thing about 202 is that there's a self adjusting smarcarb for it, giving it all the advantages of a fuel injection without any of the cons
I've researched that a bit. I may actually try one if I have problems with tuning. Thanks for the info!
Very thorough review. Thank you. Love the music.

You bet! I actually did a follow-up video and the Polini did outperform the Factory R. Awesome motor!
Nice. And real world weights too.😊

I totally agree!
On your follow-up, you should test climb rate and fuel consumption.
@@Leyenda1 no problem! I can do that.
Nice, did you get rid of the Quattro?

I'm flying an EGT sensor on it for that very reason, so I don't melt a piston. I'll conduct some more comparisons soon! Thanks!
Vittorazi has never stated the correct gear reduction so far, i'm guessing you have 2.95
