So glad you're enjoying the borders! My heart keeps going back to Little Ridges, but Camel stitch gives it a run for its money! Here's a link to my steamer - amzn.to/2WbakcI
I FINALLY understand why all my attempts at learning to make a picot looked wrong. It was so helpful how you showed exactly which loops to slip stitch through!
THANK YOU FOR BEING THE ONLY ONE TO MAKE SLIPKNOTS LOGICALLY!! 😂 That's exactly how I do them and had yet to see anyone else do it that way so I thought I was wrong. Lol everyone is like "let me find a more ridiculous way to tie this on my hook than the previous guys 10 step loop" 😂 I appreciate you so much! You're also really good at giving directions in a way that's direct and to the point but still detailed 👌🏻
I was just looking for a border for a baby blanket I just finished. And here it was! You are so talented, Toni, and I love the way you explain things and make it easy to follow. Thanks!
I just bought myself a set of crotchet hooks after watching you. I was learning to crotchet because I had numbness in the fingers. It has helped alot. Am from the academy and am eager to get into this full time.
Beautifully Done… They all have their place in the crochet world so choosing a favorite would imo be a disservice to the craft & the time & the individual skill set needed to create these masterpieces…they are truly a work of art. Thank you…
Thank you! I've been a knitter for the last 300 years and I am always looking for different edgings for my garments You have given me some terrific options and ideas. Watching you is always time well spent.
So happy I found your channel❣️ I love all of your borders & plan on trying them all soon but I think my favorite is the camel stitch one. We appreciate all your hard work making these tutorials for us & we thank you so much for keeping them free❣️🤗 Many of us are retired & elderly or disabled & living on a very small monthly budget. Blessings to all❣️🙏🏼🦋
I started crocheting at the start of COVID and you were the first UA-camr I found. I always come back to your videos/posts for new ideas or brushing up on the basics. You are a great teacher and I just love your passion for crochet. Will always be a fan of yours Toni 😊
You're the best at explaining & demonstrating various crochet techniques! I can’t thank you enough. I'm more of a visual learner & you have a special gift at teaching. Thank you so very much. L
I love all of them, but the last one just gives me the happiest feelings. I think I would chain a bit more, though, so they can be loopier.. I'd love to make my daughter a blankie with that border.
You are a great teacher. I love all the borders. I mostly crochet wash rags and think the half double slip stitch old make a nice border for them. Thank you for sharing your talent.
I found this video just in time! The 3rd border looks great on my Tunisian simple stitch baby blanket (also learned from you.) Many thanks for all your great videos!
You are a wonderful teacher and your voice was easy soothing and easy to follow. I showed my daughter your video because I'm having trouble teaching her how to crochet and bingo! She got it!!! Bless you 😊
Thanks for sharing I love all of the patterns especially the last one with the knots. I am thinking about adding it to my shawl that I am working on. Thanks again Patricia
I knitted a star-shaped blanket but the reverse single crochet edging they suggested in the pattern really wasn't my vibe. The tied loops border shown here is exactly what I wanted! I love how clear and concise your videos are
Thank you. Great instructions. If you would like a less bulky knot on your fringe border, you could tie a slip knot in the loop. Wrap one side of the loop around your finger and bring through a loop.
Thank you for your video. I'm using your little ridges right now. Love how it finishes my work. I've done the camel stitch border before, now I will use your last row of slip stitches to improve the look.
You are very lovely and I love your channel. ❤ Thank you for sharing your skills and ideas. I have been crocheting and knitting a lot lately and your channel is one of my favorites. I couldn't crochet for awhile because I have chronic pain and it took a while to get enough relief. I finally got surgery and proper treatment for my health conditions and I am slowly getting some energy and mojo. My cat Ginger Beans even has become more relaxed because I am able to rest and he gets more cuddles. 😊❤ I wish I would have found your channel sooner.
Love your videos so much! I'm thrilled at some new border options and SO appreciate that you blocked the ones that needed it on camera! It's so satisfying to see the difference and there's no better illustration than the gorgeous blocked end product. Thank you for all you do!
Borders add so much to a project, especially blankets. Thanks so much for sharing these. Three of these are new to me and I will definitely try these. I also like the idea of using these as a border/hem on a top.
Your crochet is flawless. I love that blanket. I started using a HDC instead of a SC on borders to get rid of that “leggy” look that you get on the back.
Thank you Toni. I've always struggled with finishing my work. This video is exactly what I been needing. You are amazing. I've been using the classic shell stitch and not too pleased with the end results. Any of these borders. will take my projects to a new level of quality and professionalism. Have a coffee on me!
I cannot thank you enough! Your instructions are clear, concise, thorough and you make them easy enough for anyone to comprehend and be confident to finish our own!! Thank you, Toni!
I want to say thank you very much for your videos. It really helped me. I was battling to crochet a blanket, but it kept going all skew. After watching one of your precious videos, I've finally managed to keep the sides equal. Thank you once again very much
Thank you, thank you, thank you, for the new border inspiration. The little ridges is adorable I might use it on a baby sleep sack or baby blanket. Hugs
I'm planning on using the Camel Stitch to outline the border of a long knit cardigan I'm working on. I'm really looking forward to seeing how it turns out, but I think it's the perfect stitch to add a unique bit of simple design.
I have been working on washcloths and dishcloths to sell, but wasn't satisfied when each one was finished. Now I know what I need to do. Thanks so much for this tutorial. I am going back to every one that I made and give them nice borders!
I love your teaching skills, when I found you I learned so many new techs for finishing off my small projects! I hope to endeavor upon a larger project now. Bless you for your generous sharing. 39:25
Thank you ! Very clear explanations and it is really lovely ! Which one do I prefer ? I love them all, these borders are so pretty. From Paris with love. 14 nov.2023
Thank you for sharing the marshmallow / cloud look edge! I've been enjoying adding this stitch to pieces I have been Tunisian crocheting - they have multi-use depending on user. However, I've mostly been using the continuous length of yarn, so there isn't a contrasting edge (but colors are variegated, so they're cute!), but I sure appreciate it in the video - you are an excellent educator!
Ah linen stitch is so beautiful, my all time favorite stitch, I recently finished a linen stitch baby blanket for my cousin and it was literally the most beautiful thing I’ve ever made, love that border, I’ll have to use it for a future project
Your teaching is so addicting. Fun, easy to follow instructions and such beautiful work! I was looking for a border to add to a blanket I just finished and the camel stitch called my name! I just wished you had an open chat forum of some sort. I always have questions and would love to just send and chat so I can get started. Google isn’t as good of a teacher 😊 Thank you for your videos!
29:50 ahhh! I love that tip to pull down the outer row of the camel stitch border! I’ve used the border before but the way that outer row sat always bothered me!
Chosing a border is difficult for me, but so important to the look of a finished item. I'm not crazy about fussy borders, so thanks for providing several I can appreciate and use on many projects.
So glad you're enjoying the borders! My heart keeps going back to Little Ridges, but Camel stitch gives it a run for its money! Here's a link to my steamer - amzn.to/2WbakcI

I love all of these. So awesome. I love the one that makes the puffs on the front by working on the back. I really do love that.
I think I will use them all in some coasters, especially the tassle one...cute indeed. Thanks TL.

Love the Little Ridges border stitch! I'll be trying this one soon. Thanks!
These are all so beautiful. You're excellent at teaching, you make it look easy. Thanks for sharing
The little ridges border is my favorite. I've crocheted the picot and linen but never the little ridges, but I will be doing so in the near future.👍🏿
OMG Toni, thank you, all are beautiful. I am going to try each of them. ❤❤❤
I needed this Toni. I wanted a border got a shawl I’m working on. Thanks so much!
