Here is a quick and easy tip to clean up and straighten those raw edges of your border. I was amazed by the difference and will always be doing this from now on. Let me know what you think! xx
Hi, thank you for this tip! It is really making a big and nicer edge. Very nice 👌 and thank you for being so thoughtful and generous with all of your tips and tricks for croche ❤I have subscribed today and like many of your videos and also your nice and calming voice 😊 I’m Maria from Sweden Thank you 🙏
Oh my goodness, I don't know what I would do without you. I have been crocheting for years and have always had trouble with the edges. This video is just what I need. Thank you very much. I really appreciate your vidoes.
Absolutely fantastic!!! I've always hated raw edges and trying to make them look nice but now with this hack I can make all my projects look nice and neat 👌🏻 so glad I found your video 😊 happy hooking everyone 🧶🫶🏻🧶
I discovered this technique just recently when I was making an envelope border for my mosaic crochet blanket. It does make a much better finish. The trouble I had was that my slip stitches were too tight and it was a pain to crochet into. I’m going to try it again but I will go up two hook sizes trying to get it loose enough especially since I’m a tight crocheter
Just what I was looking for!! 😃 I was pleased with my beginner multi-color yarn change blanket UNTIL I paid attention to the edges🥴. Saving this and will let you know the results! THANK YOU!
Thank you so much for this video! I'm very new to crochet and this will help me greatly. I'm making scarves for all my six siblings and each one has a special stitch, like a double crochet, granny stripe or the cat stitch (love that video you made of it as well). Thank you again!
OMG! You are my crochet soulmate, I swear!!!! I am working on something that uses most of these stitches. I mean the bobbles of one color on top of another color, that slayed me! I love those so much! They are so cuuuuteeeee!!!!!
This is the VERY BEST, MOST PRACTICAL & USEFUL crochet channel ever; I cannot tell you how much I greatly appreciate your hard work & expertise you so graciously share with us - THANK YOU!! I share your channel every time you post a video!!!!
This tutorial is exactly what I needed, thank you 😘🤗 I've watched a few of your videos the last days and I love them pretty much. Now I'm a new subscriber and I think I have to watch some of the older videos today🥰😉 Greetings from Germany 👋
I'm still a beginner so I haven't done many stitches just yet but I do like to learn new things. This is beautiful and made such a huge difference. Thank you for sharing and I usually do a thumbs up on videos when people put an effort into their work 😊
Oh my gosh…thank you!! Just started crocheting about 9 months ago. As a perfectionist 😮 this was something that was driving me crazy on my blankets! Thank you so much!!! I only wish I had known this before I finished 3 baby blankets!😂
Brilliant! I always thought it was just that I didn't do it right that I had lumps and bumps sides! This will be how I do it from now on! Thank you so much!
Thanks for this great tip. I’m working on a blanket right now which really doesn’t need a border bc it’s very even, but I think borders are a must on blankets and am surely going to try it. Love your videos, they are always so helpful!
Hello Roz i love this video and yes its a much neater finish . I also love that you join at different areas so as not to have bulky knots in one place . As always great lesson . Have a good evening. I see one of the boys are chilling out 😂😂❤
Thank you so much i was making my first project ever which is a scarf but my edges were so bad it was annoying me so much i even though about not continuing the project but now i will and i'll fix the edges after i finish like you showed us thank you ❤❤
My side edges on my blanket look pretty neat, but with the stretch and size of it im thinking i should give it a border like this. Thanks for the tips!
Thank you! Going to give that a try for sure. I always end up with holes with my borders because I never am sure where to insert my hook on the raw edge.
This is one of the best crochet tips ever, thank you so much. The edges get so nice and clean with this hack, I am wondering why I did not find this sooner
