Bolero was such a good choice of music for this. It's such an exploration of (tone) color, plus I personally see Bolero as a very "orange-y" kind of piece to begin with. Also, the steady build to a raucous conclusion fits perfectly with the way you typically build to the (nearly) shouty bits. And you did so well to build your commentary right along with the music. I can't even begin to imagine how long it took to get your pacing to sync up just right with it, but it was definitely worth it.

You should read the book, Gödel, Escher, Bach: an Eternal Golden Braid, by Douglas Hofstadter, if you haven’t already, it talks a lot about new phenomena rising from sufficiently complex systems and self reference being key to consciousness. Like how dna has the information to make itself, one form of self reference, and how self reference is the basis of contradiction in formal systems, like Gödel’s incompleteness theorem, or for example the sentence “this sentence is false” is neither true or false, and that contradiction comes from the self reference of the statement “this sentence”. Then, the Sudanese fighters played this absolute masterpiece, we then began to all put down our guns and dance to this lyrical masterpiece. Thank you, sir. For Peace this song changed my life. My entire view of everything that exists in this world, in fact, even in the entire universe. I can never look at anything I know the same way again. This song represents emotions that most humans could never understand. But I can. Thanks to this song I was awakened to many things previously considered unimaginable. Thank you for this exquisite song. This video is an exquisite masterpiece, out of every single video I have ever even heard of on the entire platform, this by far has enlightened me to do fly, lose 90 pounds and even become the president of the United States, and I'm going to tell you why this is such a masterpiece as if hearing the creators, no, god of this universes luscious voice. I would like to express my thanks to you. My gratitude for your indisputably magnificent assistance is almost infinite. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed. I really like your contribution that you have in our society, you really make a difference and help others out, the world could always use more people like you. Gosh, what a polite and humble fellow. It is such a kind honour for someone as low as me to be in contact with someone of a level such as yours. I thank you once again my good friend. A world without you, would be a world I would not be able to live in, and I believe I share that opinion with most people. I can rest easy tonight knowing you helped. I appreciate you and everything you stand for and on behalf of everyone on planet earth, thanks. Yes I 100% agree no lie I am 10/10 with you in this statement no question. You are completely absolutely correct and have made no mistake in your sentence whatsoever and I applaud you for that as you have made a thoughtful statement that many agree with and those that disagree are in the minority because your statement has absolutely no faults and thus is completely without a question correct and deserves nothing but agreement. and by the way, super saiyan blue theme is a very powerful, moving song that showcased the capabilities of human emotion. It used groundbreaking technology to create stunning sounds that would mesmerize the listeners. This song is suitable for all ages; whether you're 5 years old, or 50, you should listen to this song. It is inspiring and it showcases the spectrum of human nature and how humans communicate with each other. This song revolutionized the music industry and set the bar high for other songs. In the future historians will look back on this song and regard it as the pinnacle of human achievement. It was a roller-coaster from start to finish, the nail-biting song will leave you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Listeners will find themselves absorbed by the heartwarming tale of a relentless, determined african tribes who didn't let societies standards shape his/her/it's life. I was shocked by how intense and gripping this song was. The plot is rich, unpredictable and touching. This isn't your typical african war song, this song is a war with one's emotions. Tales of africa is a stirring masterpiece that only comes once in a millennium. This thrilling instruments makes it a jaw-dropping performance that properly utilizes the medium. I rate this song 10 african tribes/10 african tribes, and will never listen to it again as every time I get saddened by the the fact that there will never be a song to match this masterpiece.
As a colorblind person the very first part of the video (about the qualia) really hit me. I've never seen turquoise for example. At first I thought turquoise was just what they called light blue, but it turns out that is cyan lol. People have described it to me as a mixture of cyan and green, or as being both cyan and green, but I've never seen it, and probably never will. Even tho I know what it is now, I will never actually experience what it's like to see it, which is a shame cause it sounds like a pretty color. Anyways, good day to whoever is reading this :D

I know that feeling too. I stare into my eyes in the mirror and realize, that "me" (whatever this actually means) is directly behind them, inside this body. But i can't perceive it from the outside... I just know it's there because i *am* "me"... For me, the realization of my own existence is the weirdest feeling ever. And it kinda makes me sad, that we can never really experience another mind, another person... We just know each other through physical interactions...

The meaning of life the universe and everything is 42. Jk there is no meaning and nothing actually matters in the end But just because nothing matters don't mean u have be bean ashole Allot of nihilists take nihilism as an excuse for being and ashole.
I think it actually depends on your mindset. An optimist and a pessimist will look at it differently. For some I guess they'll feel like we were just put here to suffer and consciousness is a curse, for some is the opposite and a blessing. The mystery could lead to other answers, but some won't necassarily be good, and some might feep the fact that we don't even get to understand our consciouseness is a curse. I personally find all the video's on this channel inspiring and often watch them when I feel unmotivated. But some like this are a definate emotional grey area to me as the perception topics seem inherently tied to our already existing perception of life and ourselves as individuals and as a collective. Oh, also some people kind of just freak out with meaning of life topics almost like a phobia. Also, also, one day there will be no mysteries left is a pretty sad thought that was mentioned.
TLDR: I have friends who have an easier time seeing small negatives then the far larger positives. I guess thinking too much about such a complex topic with their mindset will make it seem depressng and other people may be similar.
Eh if you haven’t heard of such existentialism before maybe, but after awhile it gets stale, it’s beyond me how people can ride this same wonder till their death, using it justify the continuation of the same processes that perpetuate suffering endlessly here... Has anyone ever stared in the mirror for a long while in the bathroom? Like for a good while before starting to feel weird as you realize you exist... like.. you're something inside this meat body. Like...its hard to explain.
Like like like like like like like
Smoothie um um um um um um um um
Try it on mushrooms....it's a whole different experience. For me my body will start to turn into a white bright light.
Yes
I love this channel because it discusses questions I have always had but didn't realize I had
Trying to describe color to someone who’s completely colorblind is like trying to get someone with no hands to change from right handed to left handed.
Things Dr Bright ain't allowed to do;
-describe colour to the colourblind.
-trying to get the non-handed to change from right to left handed.
I've heard that when asked to do this people often use feelings or experiences to associate with colors
@@littelcreatchure506 I've heard of a poem detailing how people explained colours to a blind person, they mostly used other senses such as touch and heat (eg. red is how the sun feels, etc)
Maybe red is like being angry but... why th- LISTEN HERE YOU LITTILE SH-

I love how real and heartwarming, in a weird way, you keep your videos. I feel like i'm entering a time in my life where everything seems unsatisfactory and where I feel motivated to create something myself. Your videos give me a lot of fuel to think and look at things with a new eye. Your comedy hits me right in the feels, where sometimes I just want to scream and laugh or scream and cry, but hold back for everyone's sake. Its a big breath of fresh air and wanted to leave a comment just in case you read some. You are probably one of my favorite "teachers" of life in general, the weird stuff and the fucky stuff that excite me.
I want to be able to express my thoughts like you can, but I still need to wobble around this big rock and understand it, more, before I try anything to pretentious.
Your channel is a great place for me to get started. Thank you. :)
Cheers!
This dude literally went from "we can't really see orange" to "the universe is fucking fake"
😦
Oh, this must be your first Exurb1a video? I only ask because he does this in nearly every video he does. Brilliant fucker he is.
@@Jay-ate-a-bug an existential crisis is great content
@@kkTeaz Personally i find it soothing
The meaning of life the universe and everything is 42.
Jk there is no meaning and nothing actually matters in the end
But just because nothing matters don't mean u have be bean ashole
Allot of nihilists take nihilism as an excuse for being and ashole.
"Bolero" was the perfect song for this video, nice pick
"with enough cocai- coffee"
good ol exurb1a
@I'd like to eat blades of grass I see
People calling this video depressing ehen actually is the reverse. This video are perfect for cheering you up
UA-cam Wanderer How could I ever be happy knowing I could never experience asparagus piss?
I guess they never thought about it beyond the wanky cycle.
@@Celia_Louise I am a pessimist and still get great happiness from these videos
"For all that we could explain sounds, we had no idea how it became music in our minds"
That has got to be one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. Thank you.
He talks about feelings and sensations throughout the whole video and then comes to his senses and makes me feel genuinely touched by his intricate poetry and I am almost crying now so I say that he proved his point
What is with these great sounding words. "umami", "gustatory" and "qualia". Incredible.
asparagus piss
Cochlea
I like your funny words, magic man
Qualia is legit one of my fav words
Don't forget olfactory
I'm rather very sad that the title was not "There's No Such Thing As The Smell Of Asparagus Piss"
But hell of a video anyway hot stuff ;)

@@alisasharnin5157 I agree, but it doesn’t look good for him at all. Not to mention, he’s a genius. If these claims were false, I’m sure with his intellect he can easily disprove them. But he hasn’t.
@@arya3877 It's mostly just accusation, this is not enough evidence. "He raped me!" OK, there isn't proof for that, but it's difficult to prove. "He blackmailed me!" There should actual be proof for that. There's a text discussion back and forth, that can easily be photoshopped. And rape jokes that he has been between his friends. That ain't an exclusive thing to rapists. Of course I could be wrong, she might just be grabbing straws to drag him down. But if she's lying, she is one of the many people that makes me question if they're just a mega bitch. There ain't enough proof, sorry.

Who am I kidding, I’d like to hope that others are also getting the same feeling I get when watching this video. It is truly gorgeous sometimes, even if this small break from the other reality of the human condition will pass, it is wonderful how it creeps back every now and then. Truly on of the most videos ever.
Me: *about to brush my teeth*
Exurb1a: “Don’t forget to brush your teeth!”
ah, same. because you were about to reach a similar conclusion by yourself but then this turtle went and spelled it out for you. spawning the same annoyed feeling as almost brushing ur teeth by yourself but then someone telling you to do it right before and taking the fun out of it and making it miserable
edit: nvm i just watched the end, i’m just high af sorry
Legit me now
I brushed and watched this video
I was reading these comments while watching the video, and thought "yeah I guess I should brush my teeth now" and as I was brushing my teeth, he said it.
I'm not high, but I think I may have reached a new level of human consciousness.
I refuse to brush my teeth

Imagine from this point toward you go your entire life not seeing an orange, it’s not impossible
The last time I saw and orange was when I was 10
Yeabsera Woldetsadik an orange not orange. the fruit not the colour
Yeabsera Woldetsadik the fruit
I love The absolute absurdity of coincidence in every life. I have synesthesia and orange is my trigger color so to me I've never thought of it as a color but more of a tangible physical thing. Hence why I originally clicked on this video and how I came to find your channel.
