You're putting into words that strange feeling I had when I was a kid and asked a teacher WHY I was only me and how I could know that my experience of something was the same as someone else. And he just said that it was a really weird and stupid question. I felt dumb and made myself forget about those questions for years until I started philosophy in high school.

Bolero was such a good choice of music for this. It's such an exploration of (tone) color, plus I personally see Bolero as a very "orange-y" kind of piece to begin with. Also, the steady build to a raucous conclusion fits perfectly with the way you typically build to the (nearly) shouty bits. And you did so well to build your commentary right along with the music. I can't even begin to imagine how long it took to get your pacing to sync up just right with it, but it was definitely worth it.

What is consciousness always seems to bring me back to “Is there a God, a creator of the universe, something before nothing, etc. There’s so many similarities between religions separated by time and space . I believe there is, but there seems to be no way to prove it. To me it seems the best way if done the right way to help people have better lives and treat others well. Even if it’s not real, isn’t there some moral value in the core beliefs?

I love exurb1a’s videos because they relieve the stress and worries of my day-to-day life by replacing them with all-encompassing existential dread.
This !!! it was an extremely welcomed video. from sauntering around colours and experience, to existential meaningless and nothingness, to joyous hope, to an abstract ending where even god would have put a full stop, rather than an exclamation mark.
I'm right at home! I've had a life long existential crisis! Vincent Van Gogh did this for me at the age of 9 back in 1972. Now of course, we have the Internet and social media to fulfill this role.

Whenever i fall back into depression i come back and listen to a few videos. They give me hope. Even though we do not understand our lives we are still strong enough to live them. Even though I do not understand the mechanisms of depression I am strong enough to get through it, fight it and suceed. Again and aggain and again. We as a species live our lifes not knowing what we are doing or even why. Yet we still carry on, day by day and do it. Some days better, some days worse, but we never stop until our time has come one day and we look back onto our lifes. And hopefully we'll see the purpose.
This is weird because I have aphantasia so for me qualia can only be experienced in the moment and I essentially "forget" the qualia every single time I stop experiencing it, I cant hold in my mind the qualia that are the colour orange, my mother's face, the taste of chocolate or asparagus piss even though I can identify them in the moment and remember that they exist. I find it forces me to live in the moment somewhat, I cant live in the past or visualize the future so I kinda just have to exist right when I am existing with no escape (not that that's bad since its all I know).
If I was locked in a dark room for the rest of my life I would not be able to experience any color ever again, not even in my imagination since all I can muster is the description of the color orange which is more or less useless. My memory is entirely in description, its probably why I have a hard time reproducing melodies since making music from an English description of a song is not exactly a possible thing, when I say description its not in text or in a voice either though it just is and I cant explain it.

@@arya3877 It's mostly just accusation, this is not enough evidence. "He raped me!" OK, there isn't proof for that, but it's difficult to prove. "He blackmailed me!" There should actual be proof for that. There's a text discussion back and forth, that can easily be photoshopped. And rape jokes that he has been between his friends. That ain't an exclusive thing to rapists. Of course I could be wrong, she might just be grabbing straws to drag him down. But if she's lying, she is one of the many people that makes me question if they're just a mega bitch. There ain't enough proof, sorry.

When I was a sprout a teacher explained that white was an effect of all light being present and black being the absence of light. (I.e. all wavelengths being either reflected or absorbed by the object in question, then interpreted by chemicals in our brains) When I understood it occurred to me that the only substance that could be defined as light either present or absent was light itself. Like my peers discovering santa does not exist this idea that black and white simply do not exist outside of this inexact individual interpretation of a substance that itself is invisible without something to bounce off of in the first place... changed me forever. I was in 3rd grade art class the day I was born, and it was a very long time indeed before I learned I had not been born into the world alone. It would have been a comfort if anyone else had been distressed by this with me, so i could indulge a panic attack that had to instead be obediently stamped out without anyone noticing. They all seemed mad to me quietly pretending to listen because it did not matter to them that everything they saw was a sloppy faximile of what might really be in front of them. I had monsters under my bed and now there was no way to know for sure that I hadn't seen them.
