  • If you love brownies, banana bread and chocolate cake then you’re in the right place. These Blender Double Chocolate Spinach Muffins taste like a fudgy brownie and your favorite banana bread had a baby. These spinach muffins are packed with nourishing ingredients like almond flour, hemp hearts and fresh spinach but you’d never even know it as they’re slightly sweet (thanks to ripe bananas!) and super fluffy! They require minimal time and are sure to be a hit with your kids for their next breakfast or mid-day snack. Its the perfect way to take your banana muffins to the next level!

    ►Pure maple syrup (or honey)
    ►Vanilla
    ►Organic spinach
    ►Fine blanched almond flour
    ►Unsweetened cacao powder (or unsweetened cocoa powder)
    ►Rolled oats, gluten free if desired
    ►Hemp hearts
    ►Baking soda
    ►Kosher salt
    ►Dark chocolate chips
    ►Milk of choice, as needed for blending

    What temp in the oven? Did I miss that? Looks great love the hidden spinach in it!!

      Hi! The recipe is linked but it is 350 degrees F for 25-30 mins!

    Do you have a recommendation for switching out the almond flour in your recipes? I absolutely love all your recipes, but I’m not a fan of almond flour. If I were to replace with chickpea, coconut, or even all purpose flour, how do you substitute those or is that not an option?

      she might recommend oat flour to keep the muffins gluten free or oat flour. But I'll leave that up to her,

      Hi! Oh no, is there a reason you don’t like it? If not an allergy, I do recommend bc it’s incredibly nutritious and you can’t taste the almonds (especially in this recipe!). You could try all oat flour but I fear the muffins would bake up too dense and gummy. Almond flour adds a healthy fat, texture, flavor and a slight sweetness ❤

      Why dont you try a different flour and let us know!! I perfer the Almond flour.. Less Gluten! Less Carbs. There are tons of videos on youtube that DONT use almond flour....
