I have both and I would like to add that as I grow older and my skin is changing, I tend to use the mineralize powder exclusively. The Studio Fix dries the skin. The Mineralize keeps the skin comfortably hydrated and moreover it has vitamin E in it, so it adds to your skincare. Well I think that Studio Fix is for younger ages and the Mineralize for more "mature" skin. Both powders are of excellent quality.
How do you get it to not rub off on your face?
Yas that's it 👍 studio fix dries the skin so it's not good for the dry to natural skin!!

One thing I would add is that the studio fix have talc in them so the face will likely look washed out in pictures. The mineralized does not have talc.

I'm a makeup artist and I don't own any Mac powders because I wasn't sure which to go with. But with your explanation I'm sure I want to go with the Mineralize skin finish. However I would like for your to recommend one or two shades of the Mineralize skin finish that I can use for different skin tone of Women of Colors as I'm from and In Africa (Nigeria). i use nars sheer glow foundation in the shade tahoe..
im new to mac powder foundation.. very skeptical about choosing a shade fr me among the 44.. im guessing i will be somewhere around nc45 or nc44.5.. can u pls mention wat shade r u wearing or displaying in the video? would be of great help. thanks.. great video though!! very helpful..
Hi! Love your videos. In your videos talking about the MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation you mentioned your shade to be NC44. I'm wondering why aren't you around the same shade for the powdered foundation? I understand the powder doesn't come in that shade so wouldn't you opt for NC43 or NC45? I wish I could order from England because their shade range is better than what we have in Canada. I use NC45 in the powdered foundation but I want the in between colour because once it oxidizes it gets darker on me but when I first apply it the shade seems fine. I went to MAC the other day and as always I'm told I'm NC45 but I went to another MAC store and for the first time ever since shopping at MAC I was told I was C7. It seemed fine in the store but once I got home it seemed to ashy and powdery looking me so I'm at a loss once again. That's why I wanted to know how u went from NC44 in fluid to C6 in powder. I thought fluid and powder were the same when it comes to their shades.

Should’ve watched this before purchasing the skinfinish today. The MAC counter lady told me literally the complete opposite and told me it was long-wear and full coverage. I’m pissed and already threw away the receipt

But skin finish powder making my skin looks bright and fresh like more “wakey” it’s beautiful finish not flat matte

Nice review watched few of your videos but I wonder why you are mentioning or speaking about you are in which shade foundation or concealer you are talking about.As a viewer it make more sense if reviewer skin shade is of same.just suggestion if you be more specific about shades.

Chibaby Nwachukwu go to 1 of the Mac stores, or buy online from jumia studio fix presently goes for N14,500 mineralize is 18,500 or so ,(forgotten exact price). U can call the stores too for enquiries

A Mac worker said I was NC42 in Mac studio fix.... but when I apply it at home . it looks darker Than my neck 😐 but at the Mac store it looked perfect ..😑
