I literally pulled out my old mineralize skinfinish in Medium dark. It’s probably five years old 🤦🏽♀️ but I still looked flawless without foundation! MAC is truth!

So glad to have this reminder. I was looking at the Marc Jacobs new pressed powder, which, while pretty, is very glittery (it is subtle but still visible in the sun). I'm going to check out the MAC for sure!
Another great video. Mac Msf natural is a holy grail. I use Dark, Dark Deep, Dark Deepest as well as Dark golden , Dark Tan, Medium deep , and Sun Powder. I use them in multiple ways. To buff all over, to bronze, lightly set under my eye on natural days, LOL. I love this powder. I wish they would bring them out in a bigger size in the old school packaging . Just a thought.!🤷🏽♀️

Mac mineralize skin-finish natural is my go to! I’ve been using it for years. Ive been trying new powders lately and not many compare to this powder. It makes my skin look so good. And isn’t drying.

Great video, Iu answered my question, I can use it to touch up during the day. I was only using it in the mornings to set my makeup. My container is like still like brand new because of that.

I have Mack's Dark Deep mineralize skin finish AB6. My package has the mirror and has a closed top but I don't see natural on the compact anywhere. I told the woman at Mac, I don't wear makeup. I wanted a light feeling coverage. The last time I tried a full face it was with Mac's light weight tinted moisturizer. I was told it was no longer offered. The sales rep told me to use this product with a pre+ prime spray (fix+). I had it for two months and decided to use it today in the blazing heat. I was shocked I didn't have any streaks, when I returned home. It stayed in place and felt like nothing. I was so happy to find your video and so delighted to get a full explanation of the product. However, I'm still confused on how to properly apply skinfinsh to my face, as I don't know the techniques of putting on makeup.

Great video, I'm that person who avoids powder, I'm a MAC face and body foundation and I've never set my face with powder but as I get older I think it's time to try the MAC, MSF Natural. I have normal to dry skin
Thanks for reminding me of something I already have. I’ve been using it lately to set my under eye concealer and it works great, just a tiny amount. When I really think about it, I still love MAC. Started using their Waterweight Foundation and love it. Just a bit more coverage than F&B! I’m tired of trying different brands going back to MAC!

You can achieve medium coverage level with the msf alone by using a dense kabuki brush.

I appreciate this review - wish I'd seen it before I spent all this money on my soft and gentle - i of course got the wrong one - the highlighter - I'm disappointed because I was looking for a finishing powder and wondered why so much glitter..

I'm repurchasing this after years...I'm revisiting MAC Lipglasses as well...they're sticky, but for me they're tried and true and have great showing power.
Yes indeed!!! My staples are Sun Power, Medium Deep and Dark. These are perfect for buffing!!!! I have dry skin and these are perfect for looking matte but not overly dry!!! Not to mention that MAC has the Best undertones for women of color!!!! LOVE them!!!🖤❤💛💚✌👑🤗
The "deep" shades are red toned
The "tan" shades are orange/warm
The "golden" shades are yellow/golden
Hope this helps someone as it would have made my quest for the perfect shade easier

I actually don’t find my “Dark” to be red at all! “Dark Deep” most definitely is Red! I use that on deep skin tones.I have “Give Me Sun” also which is more golden to me.I just purchased “Dark Deepest” I like it a lot even though I thought it was going to be darker than “Dark Deep” but I was wrong

I'm so happy you talked about the mineralize skinfinish, I use bare minerals matte powder foundation and then I lightly tap the skin finish as my setting powder, it's amazing, such a nice natural finish! Great video! 👍

I feel Gold Deposit is much more bronzy orange than any of the shades in the highlighter palette and they are very different formulas.😉

We are foundation twins. Went to mac and the lady tried dark golden and said that's my shade. Would you suggest that I go with the dark golden? Because I've got a yellow undertone and I don't like anything that makes me red or orange.
Can you use this without any foundation? Can this be used as an overall finish?
I was so confused as to why the dark deepest is not 'deeper' in appearance compared to dark deep. Dark Deep has a red undertone and Dark deepest is more golden and is a nice bronze. I use dark deep for a quick eyeshadow look - it was too red as a bronze but can work as a blush.
Jackie Supernova good to know, the sale girl obviously had no idea. I think am a nw45 in studio fix fluid.I bought the dark deepest and I dnt like it, am a red undertone girl and I think it gives me a greyish cast. Am Gona check out dark or dark deep

Hi Neena. I was actually going to purchase dark golden as the lady on the counter matched me to be dark golden. I have yellow undertone and don't want anything that makes me red or orange. Please have you tried a different shade?

Hi ! It is like a very light version pressed powder foundation ... lighter in texture and coverage than the Studio Fix powder foundation. But I want to try this natural one too !!! Just love all the MAC you review/recommend !!!!

These powders are my best kept secret
I hate the new formula with the specks of glitters in it, nothing was wrong with the old, why they changed it, i don't know. The old formula did give a natural glowing finish without the glitters. I'm not impressed at all had to returned it.
In hindsight I stopped using this stuff cause I looked very glittery in the sun. I thought Mac either gave me a dud or changed the formula. I may need to give this another try.
My aunt took me to the Mac counter during my senior year of HS. So when it was time to get more I only knew it was called skinfinish cause I rubbed off most of the wording on the container. Back in the day the skinfinish natural also had an open lid like the bronzer version she showed in this video.
Can I use skin finish to set my concealer instead of using Sasha Buttercup?
For the under eye area, I wouldn't. I only use loose powders to set that area of my face because they are much more finely milled and do a much better job than any pressed powder IMO.😉

So would I put my foundation then the loose powder(cover fx) under the eyes and then the skin finish natural all over and end it with studio fix + prime spray or skip the spray?
Also which skin finish natural would you recommend if I use NC44 in studio fix fluid?
@@dcordero1984 That's a perfect routine! The spray will take the powdery look away which is great if you over do it or you have dry skin that tends to look even dryer when you add powder. I'm NC44 also and I use Medium Dark. Dark Golden is another one to check out too.😉

OK so maybe I am behind I went to grab my Mac mineralize skin finish and yours is reading different from my labels mine just says dark and when I purchase did the cells lady said it also came in deep but you are saying that yours are reading 2 names or dark deep and deep dark or something like that so straighten me out please, I do have the high lighter gold deposit so am I off here or do I need to get on the bandwagon
Your product is labeled correctly. There is Dark, Dark Deep (I think I made a mistake and said Deep Dark but it's Dark Deep), Dark Deepest plus a lot more.😉
