I appreciate her thoughtfulness for period poverty and I'm glad that someone is finally standing up and speaking about the fact having to buy tampons and pads is NOT a luxury but a necessity. I also highly regard her respect for the environment. However, I can't get behind men having periods.

I was 11 too as Gayle said, but my mother had everything ready for me, the little teen pads back in the 70's... she discussed this with me on what would happen and I remember my 4th grade class, all the girls watched a movie lol the boys had to go somewhere else. It was a horrific thing to go thru every month for me, personally, the cramps were unbearable where I had to stay home from school. It got better after I had my sons. Menopause is here, so which is worse? I'd take bleeding every month 😆 Period.

I was SELECTED AT BIRTH a man and had my period at 14. I must be more woman than most because mine is 365+ days a year.
Also if your still state tax period products, her company will give you the money back. You just need to submit a receipt and they will give you back the tax no back
