Then a few days later she came in and said she was wrong thinking it was menopause and she was actually pregnant. She had a healthy baby boy.
I just found out I am pregnant and will be weeks away from my 49th birthday when the baby is born. My now youngest will turn 3 that day. All of my children were conceived naturally. I’m still in shock.
A miracle indeed. I was 39 when I fell pregnant and miscarried. Fell pregnant without trying at 42 and miscarried again. Was accepted on the NHS for IVF 1 embryo was put pack resulted on a positive pregnancy test had ultrasound but there was no sign of pregnancy. I don't want to give up. My AMH is from someone in their mid 30s. I just need one good egg. I want to still someday hold my healthy baby please wish me luck and if you believe please pray for me ❤🙏

They can give you medications that’s around $400 and it will cause you to ovulate and have a period. Happened to my best friend. One year later she had her son.
I'm pregnant now at 43 after my son is 12 years old. I got heavy periods and started this year on birth control pills to control it. When I stopped using them, just because I am bad at taking pills, I got pregnant. Some times I think if I am too old for this. But I know that God will help me and give me the strength that I need.

I wish there was more literature on healthy children born to women over 50 on UA-cam. There is nothing positive. I know my chances are less than 20%I will have a successful healthy birth. It would be great if there were positive stories on UA-cam. Also, Ventura County has little access to OBGYN on Medical. I feel Ventura County has a lot to Learn from Marin County as far as access to birth centers and OBGYN’s. on Medical.

Exercise, supporting healthy farming practices to save our soil, buying organic, instead of expensive purses or jewelry, and drinking lots of water. Get eight hours of sleep.

@ no, she did not cheat! The surprise isn’t the fact birth control failed I’ve heard many stories of that, but the fact she’s 50! This happened some 20+ years ago. She is a friend of my MIL in her 70’s now.
@018milliondollarbaby I sure would not mind it if I was healthy enough. I cannot want to bring in a child with me being disabled. My best bet is adopting a 20-somethimg. Thankfully I am not bad off enough to need caregiver, but I cannot do certain things with a child. But for those healthy enough, yes adoption would be so lovely, as so many need homes. I think adoption should also not be so expensive. Plus, it is still your own child as you are doing the raising. You can love that child as your very own just like some people do not love their blood as their very own.

I have a friend who on Father’s Day in 2006 lost her 3yr old daughter in a drowning. A little over a year later her husband reversed his vasectomy and they began to try naturally to conceived. Unfortunately that too failed after many attempts and they painfully accepted they wouldn’t be parents again. I am also struggling with infertility. I don't associate with anyone anymore neither because they spit babies out without even trying. It is devastating. Noone knows how painful this journey is. People who can have babies say the dumbest things.
This honestly just gave me so much hope. I'm 37 and was recently diagnosed with premature ovarian failure, which is (but somehow isn't) premature menopause. There is a 5-10% chance I could get pregnant, so the odds are not great for me and we had planned to try for our first this year. Most women in their 40s are in perimenopause, not completely without periods. They can and do get pregnant, mostly because they think they can’t get pregnant, so aren’t using birth control.

I’m curious to hear from mothers struggling with fertility issues what their lifelong drinking habits are or were.. I believe alcohol use in basically any form even socially once a month has a large effect on future or current fertility. The mothers I know who don’t struggle with fertility never really drank alcohol so I’m curious to hear from other women on the issue
Based on this video I think she had perimenopausal symptoms but, I’m not so sure that she did not have a period for 1 year which would qualify as menopause. A lot of women confuse peri menopause with menopause in which you can still have a baby but the chances are slim. It didn’t help that the doctors didn’t explain what true menopause was either and said it was not possible when that’s not accurate.
1969 here and still ovulating I am terrified of a pregnancy at this age. My husband and I dance around my ovulation cycle as it could be quite dangerous to have a geriatric pregnancy.

I m so sorry mam, I had that too, the symptoms age 35 my period stopt and comes back I m 40 years age too young in my menu-pauze and I hate it that meand can t have childeren says my doctor.
I m believe in the living God jehovah he will give me childeren.

I don't know if this theory is correct but ive seen a couple of times and there was this American film where if a woman trying to conceive sometimes surrounded by children/babies like adopting or fostering it triggers something and they miraculously conceive

Most women in their 40s are in perimenopause, not completely without periods. They can and do get pregnant, mostly because they think they can’t get pregnant, so aren’t using birth control.
Im in that situation since im 41, now 45 still trying to get pregnant. My period is irregular 😢...I know getting pregnant naturally is very low chance but im still not giving up. Is very hard 😢

I’m curious to hear from mothers struggling with fertility issues what their lifelong drinking habits are or were.. I believe alcohol use in basically any form even socially once a month has a large effect on future or current fertility. The mothers I know who don’t struggle with fertility never really drank alcohol so I’m curious to hear from other women on the issue

Based on this video I think she had perimenopausal symptoms but, I’m not so sure that she did not have a period for 1 year which would qualify as menopause. A lot of women confuse peri menopause with menopause in which you can still have a baby but the chances are slim. It didn’t help that the doctors didn’t explain what true menopause was either and said it was not possible when that’s not accurate.
