Yikes ! I felt so uncomfortable for the seller. She was nice to bring out those bins, and you were willing to wait until they decided what to sell, but then the other woman just started grabbing. She seemed to be pressuring them to sell things that they weren't ready to sell. Smart move to get what you had and back off. I doubt that one woman would've ever left if you didn't go to your car to wait for her to leave. Anyways, good job in handling the situation.
That lady was rude, trying to grab everything. You were not out of line! I had that happen last week at the Route 127 Sales. I was looking through a box of keychains and other smalls. I had a pile right in front of me on the table. A lady came up, reached around my side, and started grabbing them. I politely told her that was my pile. She said, "I thought you were the person working here." I replied, "No, I am the person who is buying these." She mumbled something and huffed off. She struck me as one of those people who only wants to take something because they don’t want YOU to have it, that they think because you want it; it must be valuable, or that she was just jealous that you got something brought down specifically for you and wanted to be a part of it. I don’t think she actually knew what she was looking at. I run across people like this all the time at Goodwill bins. Especially when they find out you are a reseller. I’ve had people take stuff directly out of my cart when my back is turned, and then play dumb when I catch them.
Leap frog!!!! I used to watch those like 7 or 8 times 😮..... 😢. So nostalgic. I absolutely loved the letters and the factory. It was mesmerizing to me 😅
You handled the situation well. It matters when you build a rapport with a seller entering their space, which was not the case with the rude woman. Reminds me of these families that ran in 'packs' at the GW bin stores: back in the 80s here in Portland- you get things pulled right out of your hands, out of any unattended carts - even covered ones, and if not careful, your pockets, too. They hit my own garage sale once. I got them to leave quickly. They started offering $1 for $5 dollar items and I countered with $10. Or $5 for a $30 item, and I countered with $50. They still pocketed a lot. I've learned that it's all just stuff. I walk away nowadays, or like you did so well, when the person leaves, I'll return.
Lol you were not aggressive enough. I mean you were fine. Lmao. The other lady needs to meet up with me. You're just too damn sweet. Stop it, they brought it out for you to buy. Excellent finds. I love our n64 and games.
You definitely were not too aggressive. She had no right grabbing the things in the box that they brought out for you. The lady was actually on your side.
I felt bad for the ladies having the garage sale. That must have been really stressful for them. I think you handled it well. You let the people running the sale know you were interested, you were nice about it and not pushy. If I had been the gals holding the sale I probably would have lost my cool on that other person lol
Coming from a car sales guy that used to have to tell other salesmen to stop trying to steal their customer or we're going to fight, you handled it well lol.
my ex BIL had one of his sales employees (he was the manager) ask to see the keys for a Lexus that he got in trade that he put aside to buy for my sister just so a customer could see what a Lexus was like to drive. The customer then went and locked himself in the Lexus while the sales guy wrote up the paperwork. I hope the commission was worth getting fired because he got fired. people are idiots
@@T0tenkampf can't even legally sell the vehicle until all the inspections are done lol. Only way we got around that was by putting a clause in stating that the sale basically wasn't final until it finished its rounds in the shop. And I could see that, I was part of a group of dealers, had a customer coming in to my dealership to look at a Yukon from another lot. Their guy came 45 away to grab it back right before they showed saying he had it supposedly sold. Couldn't do anything under the dealerships policy. My customers were furious. Guy didn't even end up making the sale. It's a ridiculous industry full of hungry people that's for sure. Man this is the third video I’ve seen this week with these kind of people at garage sales. I go all the time and have never had someone do this. I showed my wife and then told her I’ve never had anyone do this. My wife said it’s because you intimidate people. I guess she’s right I’m 6’4” 240lbs but I’m a gentle giant. I thought you were fine, just like everyone else has said they brought them down for YOU, she should’ve waited until you were done looking. You were nicer than me I would’ve told her “look they brought them down for me to look at. You can look after I’m done.”
I think a lot of us would have done the same. I feel like it could have been handled better by the seller but some people don’t like confrontation or know how to deal with situations like this. Maybe she could have simply said, “Hey I’m sorry but he asked to look at these first” etc.. I think something like that could have been good. You had first dibs! Anyway, you got some great pickups! Good luck on some finds this weekend :)
You handled it well I've had yard sales were I've brought out stuff for people and have stopped other customers from trying to get to it before the original customer got a chance I've even said I'm sorry but I'm letting them look. First because they asked
Honestly I would have been a little more stern with her and told her point blank that they pulled out these boxes for you to look at. But honestly you did a good job
You too aggressive??? NO! She was crazy, and waaaaaaay out of line! I mean she snatched up the playstation the second the box hit the table in front of you!
That lady was what me and my ex wife referred to as "rummage hogs", the type who are waiting before the sale even opens and try to bulldog their way through everyone. You handled it well and have a new subscriber and fan here!
They brought the stuff out for you to look at .....I would have spoken up immediately.....I've been doing yard sales and flea markets for over 40 years. Never let anyone take the Gravy off of your mashed potatoes...never. 👍😎
One of my biggest pet peeves when I went to book sales was when trays would be stacked and I'd lift one up to look underneath. Then, someone next to me would start grabbing books while I was holding the tray up. Grrrr!

Hi, she was out of order. She was very rude. The nice lady seller went to get you the games collection, you had requested. You had first refusal. Clearly the seller only wanted to do business with you because you was very nice, polite with good manners. Love your channel.
When that happens to me at garage sales I tell the person to please wait your turn. That basically tells the person to back off. Then i will take it all and leave one game.😂
Honestly you’re much nicer than me I would’ve said “ hey so they brought these bins out because I asked about them and I’m going to look through them first and once I’m done deciding what I want you can look through them second… thank you!! 😀” my husband and I resell, I’m polite but don’t mind clearly voicing fair boundaries.
i just know i would have grabbed that vera bradley bag in a heartbeat!! beautiful print and colors . :) no, i don't think you were rude/greedy. you were first there, i'm glad the seller spoke up and said that you were going go through it first.
You were good! When I'm out looking, if I see someone looking at something I back off. It sucks sometimes cause it could be a good buy but you don't jump in on someone else's find. Respect, that's why I continue watching, your fair and don't try to scam people.
The lady was too aggressive, I think you were fine when you stood up for yourself, the game systems and games were in the house, you asked about them .
Some people have no couth! Haha. She was definitely unaware of social boundaries. I think you handled that well. You never know if people are a little titched in the head, so I think walking away like you did was a good idea. She ended up shooting herself in the foot with the seller all on her own!
There are some resellers that come across as assholes, you are definitely NOT one of them! I thought you were so nice about the situation! Kindness definitely goes a long way! One time I was looking at something at a garage sale and another reseller asked if I was going to buy it. He seemed like he knew way more about it than me so I let him have it because he was super nice and let me decide if I wanted to buy it first instead of just reaching in front of me and grabbing it. Keep being the good guy, it will pay off in the long run! :)
There are good people still out there. I was going through a jewelry box at a sale and a woman was patiently waiting behind me. She said, "Oh, I won't intrude until you are done looking." That was a change! I feel if you are looking through something, a box or whatever, other people just need to wait. It's called being polite.
I've done yard sales in past and what I did was start out with 40.00 in dollar bills and I made change I did pretty well for two days..my kids helped me setup they helped sell and they got a split of profit from mom..I plan on doing another one in September when it's cooler here in las Vegas nv

Did you let her know that you were coming back prior to going to your car? That's the only thing I would have done differently. Yeah it was awkward watching this. I felt bad for the lady running the sale. She even suggested that she wanted to go get a glass of wine because of her stress levels. Overall I think you handled yourself fine. What can you do in a situation like that? Great games!
That lady was totally out of line and she didn’t stop when told what the situation was. You were not too rude in the least. 🤣 that was almost like an NPC glitch in Skyrim.
The ladies shirt explains everything OMG! I was at a garage sale at a very expensive home and there was a big box of blouses and sweaters... a lady runs in front of me and literally grabs box and takes 20 of 23 items $1 each... giving me the stink eye for even wanting to go near box.
Wow. Glad I saw this video dealing with this issue. Sometimes you lose, then you win. Greedy selfish people get karma later. Let's not be greedy like that aggressive people grabbing stuff out of your hands.

You were fine. That lady was WRONG!! That makes me so mad when some people just can’t accept that someone else got what they wanted. First come, first serve!!!
This was such a classic caveman scene, how they tried to swoop in on your deal. Instantly reminded me of how much we think we have evolved, but have we really? Not so much. "Ooogah..Oogah...MINE...MINE!" A quiet head-butt would have been immensely entertaining, albeit a wee bit uncivilized. And then there's always that thing with the ride in the back of the black and white car...the one with the cage in it, and that never ends well. So, job well done...very civilized!
Just watched you were 100% correct as a person who does a significant amount of garage sales myself I have done things for customers like you brought things out of my house however I've never had to say anything more than. He's first or when he's done most people are like oh okay...
The OWNER clearly was trying to deal with you. People need to remember when there not in the store. It still belongs to the OWNER in a private sale. SHE can control how to sale it and simple having your hands on something doesn't mean it's yours. The women was dealing with you. You were cool!
You did just fine, young man. I doubt the sellers cared for the way the woman was acting. When people act like that, they usually end up with next to nothing. You remind me of my grandchild. One of them would stop her dead in her tracks and the other one would've handled it the way you did. Both would've been fine with me. I loved watching this video. Watching this 2 years after you posted: You were not a jerk AT ALL.
You were not greedy at all. You were looking in the basket and you just don’t reach over and start grabbing! Can’t buy much for $8.00. Lady rude!!
She brought the stuff out for you. Good that you fought back!
Probably a reseller
ABSOLUTELY. Like an immature jealous CHILD.
You did great! Way to read both of the ladies, so glad you were right about the seller wanting to sell to you!
I think you were being nice to her, you were there first she was stepping on your toes. That's why the lady saved them and didn't sell them.
Only just found your channel and been watching your back catalogue. So glad you stuck your ground you were definitely in the right. Go you. 🥰👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This lady just won't stop, can't she wait till you are done then she can look, you had first dibs, goodness gracious!
I don't think you were "aggressive" at all! That woman was extremely rude and way out of line. I think you handled it very well.
The way the seller person SNATCH the things out of your hands.... Like calm down lady YOU just put the basket in front of me lol
No no no it was all her. You were more polite then I would have been. Great job! I love watching you
She new what she was doing, you were in the right in my opinion
Two of our guys ended up fighting, can't remember what for, one got moved to another dealer and the other was promoted to floor manager hahaha.
Great job. You handled it perfectly. You were respectful and assertive.
Also, good call to walk away and chill. But you really handle the situation very well. I’m still going to watch you. Love this channel.
Good luck on some finds this weekend :)
yeah it was overall super awkward.
You did the right thing. Have had to deal with it at the good will bins.
You handled it well I've had yard sales were I've brought out stuff for people and have stopped other customers from trying to get to it before the original customer got a chance I've even said I'm sorry but I'm letting them look. First because they asked
The other lady was nosy and invading your space... well done... I think I would have grabbed her by the hair😂🤣 JOKING!!
Your 💯% in the right. The audacity of some people really amazes me. Glad you still scored.
Isn’t that what he did
"Hey, this is my bin!"
..whagh?
"What are you doing?"
That seller was so nice. I’m impressed with your restraint with that rude lady.
Grrrr!
people are so fucking weird 🤣
You should've smashed the tray down on top of their hands. I hate rude people and I won't stand for that kind I behavior anymore.
Funny actually.
I subscribed because of how cool under pressure you were. You were fair and polite. Look forward to more videos!
You handled it well, you’ve really got a good rain on your feelings and. Not loosing your cool!
you have WAAAAYYY TOOOOO much more patience than I would have had for that creepy woman. You are too much of a gentleman. Not a bad quality to have mind you but sometimes you have to let your inner ultimate fighter come out!! LOL!! Be blessed.
You are not a jerk! You did the right thing and you did it the right way. At a yard sale it is first come first serve love watching your videos you have an awesome family and many blessings to your family please continue to put out the Great videos that you do. They are very helpful two others!
Holy crap, that woman was rude. You kept calmer than what I would of. Lol
This is what a lot of "car boot sales" here in the UK are like. Rude, aggressive people who'll push you out of the way, You handled it well
Absolutely. Put me off being a seller. Some people want owt for nowt as well
I find car boot sales like this but at proper boot fairs there is like and unspoken law about it
Honestly you’re much nicer than me I would’ve said “ hey so they brought these bins out because I asked about them and I’m going to look through them first and once I’m done deciding what I want you can look through them second… thank you!!
Man that would piss me off so bad!!you did good! Very patient!
You weren't greedy but you paid 40 Bucks for the entire box of n64 and stuff 🤣 i saw pokémon stadium, your money is already back ahah great find
Stadium is a dogshit game 😅
I've done yard sales in past and what I did was start out with 40.00 in dollar bills and I made change I did pretty well for two days..my kids helped me setup they helped sell and they got a split of profit from mom..I plan on doing another one in September when it's cooler here in las Vegas nv
Job well done. Sometimes you have to show assertiveness without weakness. Otherwise people will walk all over you. You handled it very well. Thanks for sharing!
and here I am almost too nervous to reach across a table when someone is standing at it lol, bold lady
My goodness. That was awkward. You weren’t a jerk. You handled it well.
No you did the perfect amount!! That's why I don't do alot of shopping where crazy deals are going on.
You asked and they were brought to you at your request, you had first choice. I think you handled everything in the right way.
Let's not be greedy like that aggressive people grabbing stuff out of your hands.
i agree with everything you said at the end. You handled yourself way better than i might have. Lol i am over here on the other side of the screen bit**ing at that lady LMAO!
I think you were calm and right
You were fine.
That’s nothing !! here in Texas I normally roll out with my SideArm and my brass knuckles. Keep up the good content.
You were all good. She brought that stuff out for you not her she didn’t even hardly have the box down before she had her hands in it . ❤❤❤❤
You just got yourself another subscriber.... (y)
Your alot more patient with the rude customer then I would have been
40 bucks....goddamn...i saw that pokemon blue alone being popped in there. Thats an absolute steal.
No, you were in the right... she was aggressive in the situation. Stay your ground.
That lady walked away with nothing because she wanted something for nothing by the sounds of it.
