I was going through a crate of records once, and a guy reached in front of me and picked up the whole crate I had my face leaning over and walked off with it! Didn't say a word! Another time I was waiting for someone to finish going through a box so I could check it, and just as she finished, someone else pushed in and started going through it! I had to tell them I had been waiting there for 5-10 minutes, and I was next. You are so right to point out that there is plenty to go around and no reason to be greedy and rude! I enjoy your videos. I can't go to sales like I used to, and this is the next best thing!

Wow, that woman reminds me of someone I had come to one of my sales. Same age range, attitude, ect. She made a huge pile and tried to give me $10 and walk away. I had to keep saying NO. She was aggressive and confrontational. I finally told her I wasn’t going to sell her anything and she needed to leave my property. She tried to play it off as a language barrier thing but I had seen her n the past at other sales and knew her game.

Haha, my Dad lives in that area (Pottstown) and that lady is notorious for her rudeness/ aggressiveness at yardsales. Glad you got her on video. Also, my Dad was at that same yardsale but did not get there to almost 2pm. The husband let him look through some totes in the back and he was able to get a whole bunch of NOS nascar hats, vintage Eagles hats and single stitch muscle car shirts for about a $1 a piece. He said the couple was super sweet and had amazing prices.

A new-ish friend and I went shopping together at an antique mall. It was her idea to go there, so I let her lead everywhere, until we were more than halfway through. I saw a clothing rack, start looking, and she walked up, reached across in front of me to pull out an item. I said, "EXCUSE me?!" (Plus a look 🤨) And she said, "oh, I just thought it looked like something my daughter would wear." (So?😂) and she backed off. We laughed about it, but I'd bet she won't pull that again. I really believe we train people how to treat us. The 2 shystery people you dealt with were strangers, so I get why you let it slide....but my inner sheriff was wishing you'd said something to each of them. Also, I love that you handle the items you're looking through in a respectful manner. ❤

the last 50 years, back when they were called house sales! I use to be
polite, and let them look with me, but it happened so often (because a
lot of people are just rude) that I finally had to speak up! I would just say
this is my pile I am going through, and you can look after me, which
usually worked, but sometimes had to tell that they were rude, and just
wait your turn! I WOULD NEVER grab something, that another person
was looking at-EVER! You were very polite, but I was irritated for you!
I ran into an aggressive buyer back in July. She was Sooo rude and made me so uncomfortable. She had 3 kids with her. She was going through totes that the guy said he needed to check first. She was throwing stuff in her van and not allowing the seller to go through it. So when it was time to pay, the seller looked in the back of the truck and basically guessed. She was handing things to her kids and telling them to take it to her van. I couldn't believe someone would do that. So, lady and 3 kids in Reedsburg WI, I am calling you out! Also, those blow molds you were blaming and whining about, glad you didn't get them! Some people can be sooo mean!

It’s sad that I see a lot of people who counter for less, I’ve seen people pick up something priced at 25 cents and counter with 5 cents, like is it really worth doing that? People have changed.

I agree. The fact that she had a key figure, such as Joseph, makes me suspicious that she took it hoping he would notice it was missing, and then decide not to buy it because it was missing a key figure and then she could buy it.

The Nativity is done on plastic canvas with holes in it. I forget what they call it, but it is totally awesome!
The good, the bad and the ugly from yard sales! I used to go to sales and one gal was very aggressive at sales. There was a time when someone had a sale in the garage with a bunch of people waiting outside. When the door opened, she got into a pushing match with someone, they argued, then the cops were called. It happens!
She used to go to people's doors the night before their sales and ask for stuff they were selling.

Yeah, she was rude. A long time ago I described how some woman and a friend would swarm jewelry tables and attempt to block everyone else (I’m short!) A good piece of advice was to lift up the box of jewelry and hold it close to look through it. This typically stops other hands! As soon as that woman reached over to the box you opened I thought ‘pick it up and move it away from her’.

Goodness! I'm more upset about how little the seller appreciated the time and love that 88 year old man put into that Nativity and she had it shoved in a tote! It was so heartwarming to see someone come along and pick it up, make sure all of the pieces are there and can see that a lot of time and effort went into this work of love! Shows your true character. Along with being nice to the angry lady. This is why you earned a new subscriber!

Had I been the woman selling, I would have asked the lady to see if Joseph had "accidentally" dropped into her stuff to make sure. That way not being accusing her of purposely taking it. I would have also told the lady to quit throwing my stuff around.

Had something similar happen to me last week. I was the first one at a yard sale. I had been to the sellers other yard sale a couple weeks before and knew it was coming up. When I saw the pictures for the sale I knew there was a lot I wanted so I got there early. I immediately saw a table that I wanted everything on it so I asked the seller for a price for the whole table. As he was adding and coming up with a price this young guy walked up and grabbed six items and asked for a price on them. The seller explained that I was there first and he was dealing with me, but if there turned out to be things I didn’t want he would be next. He then told him where some other good items were. The guy immediately started challenging the seller and saying he had driven an hour to get there. I told him I had too which was true. The young guy was so ticked off he just bought a few things and left. I ended up buying almost everything at the sale. The seller told me later how disrespectful he thought the guy was. I have run into him before and he is very rude.

I would of yanked that tote away from her, that’s so rude. Plastic canvas, I used to do plastic canvas work but not like that. Please don’t teach kids to climb on dogs. If ur baby gets bit, the dog always gets blamed. I have first hand experience, volunteering at shelters.
His niece has been with Sasha since she was born. I doubt if Sasha would bite her .

Teaching your toddler to do this is horrifying, they can climb on any dog and think it’s okay. Use common sense please and educate yourself, pet “accidents” happen everyday. @Bobbie. Exactly 100 % agree. It's NEVER OK!! The dog may not feel good one day and has to reluctantly put up with that and turns and snaps. It doesn't matter if they were raised together, that's irrelevant. Dog bites are 90% preventable. Just use common sense and teach kids to respect and be kind to ALL animals!!

That craft is called plastic canvas, that is what the Nativity is made from. A type of needlepoint, or cross stich ....People can be nuts at yard sales, good for you for being nicer! THanks for great content , LOVE Sasha!

The Nativity Scene is made with plastic grid material & yard. Some call it vinyl weave, others call it needlepoint but it's made from scratch without a pattern.
The Manger scene is made from yarn and plastic canvas 😊

The nativity set is so cool I think it’s plastic canvas and for you to realize that someone that made it took a lot of time into it, is so nice because I am sure it did! I was at a flea market and this woman was so worried I was getting something and she \couldn't she reached over me and snatched a handful out of the box I was looking through and almost hit me in the face with it all when she yanked them out and huffed away.
I was buying a pair of shoes in Amsterdam a few years ago-in front of the cashier WAITING TO PAY, mind you, and an Asian woman standing next to me grabbed them. No real idea why, since she was already holding the exact same pair! Fortunately the cashier grabbed them back from her and told her they were mine. I was stunned. If not for the cashier she would totally have gotten away with them. One of the strangest things that has ever happened to me.

Ok. I’ve wondered how to handle this situation without letting my temper flare. Normally I would do like you did and just walk away and pray she didn’t grab the good stuff BUT, this situation right here mad my blood boil! Lol! Not sure that I could have walked away from that one. And then when she said,”you didn’t find it in my pile, no?!” Ummm actually mam I did!! The audacity of people…. 🤦🏽♀️😡

That was quite the garage sale encounter. She was crazy and not being polite at all. And the guy and how he acted too. I was in disbelief watching it. People don't have common curtesy anymore.
