I've been carnivore for over 200 days. Although 6 days will show some benefits, it's really not long enough to let the diet work the way it should. I have lost over 40 pounds and 12% body fat in my journey, AND i haven't really been going to the gym. After i initially lost the water weight, my body stalled for a while. I was informed that my body was healing (from numerous issues too lengthy to get into here), and needed to hold onto the weight for that reason. I was losing small increments of weight in the first three months, and at the same time feeling better and better. It wasn't until the last three months did i lose weight (fat, not muscle mass) rapidly. That has been my experience on the weight loss front, but the healing aspect (physical and mental) for me was the most remarkable and has led me to joy that has evaded me for years. Good luck on your journey and remember, patience is key.
Long time Carnivore here. When i started Carnivore (Strict Lion) I thought I would miss the sweet and Carbs but at that time i did not know how good i was going to feel and how my thinking was about to change. I became quiet and as time went on I became even quieter and at peace. I learned the most valuable lesson early, when I failed to eat enough animal Fat I stopped feeling Optimal. If you find boredom in meat then you have not reached the Optimum state that an all meat lifestyle offers as boredom becomes Irrelevant when you get there. Keep the Salt up and the best of life to you.
I'm on year 1 and 2 months. Never going back! This way on eating CURED all of the the following conditions: Severe GERD (I had to sleep almost sitting up, and took 40mg Omeprazole for 15 years+), NAFLD, PreDiabetes, Sleep Apnea, IBS, Restless Leg, Brain Fog and memory loss, Neuropathy, bleeding gums... In addition, I lost 45lbs fat, dramatic mood improvement which led to picking up weights and got muscle gains. I look much better than at least the past 15 years and I feel much better at 45 than at ANY other time in my entire life. For the past 25 years I had what most people would call a very healthy Mediterranean diet with little meat/fish involved. Takeout/ready made/restaurant meals were rare. 90% was cooked fresh. I have never even owned a microwave. I went as far as juicing celery and other vegetables in a attempt to feel better.
Hello from Michigan! Yes, stick to it so that you will experience more of the benefits over a longer period of time. Taking one day at a time is best. Live your life like you've been doing this for forever. Ya know what I mean? You got this! Oh yeah, carbs and sugar are amazing but perhaps if you remember how you feel when you eat them, like what you mentioned about having brain fog, not being focused, how you felt after consuming cake or ice cream, etc. This way of eating will definitely help with all of that. Once you get to thinking protein minded make sure to eat not just beef but perhaps fresh seafood and steak or chicken or lamb~keep variety in play. I am not perfect at it but I am much better than where I was. I used to eat processed foods that I thought were clean and they just aren't. Processed foods are lab created, a lot of them, with ingredients that will cause cravings for more carbs/sugar. My appetite for sweets has changed for the better. When I am satiated with nutrition from protein I do not experience the cravings in as much as I once did. They do come now and again but I will say they are far easier to control and I find myself looking for what I can have instead of rushing to the nearest carb laden snack or meal, for sure. Wish you the best! Ann Marie :)
Dear carnivore soldier, I am on day 7 of Carnivore diet. I came from keto diet x 8 years. You are helping me greatly head out on Carnivore journey. I feel better than ever the part 6 days. Because my appetite is not controlling me. But I am controlling my appetite, and I now have control of my appetite, just like I was when I was a kid and a young adult up to age 25. Thank you for your you tube videos.
Your journey sounds very similar to mine. I tried all the diets and supplements too but what i found helped the most diet wise was avoiding all grains and limiting dairy. But what really seemed to be the last missing thing was iodine, i've been taking it 1,5 months now and i'm like a different person, horrible nerve pains gone, constant anxiety gone, stomach issues getting better slowly, skin glowing and other stuff too, there's so much. I just needed to comment as i know how it feels to struggle for years. But yeah, i've been taking Lugol's iodine 25mg a day and it really feels like my body is finally getting to normal state. Hope this helps you and i'm really digging your videos bro, peace.
I actually took detoxadine for a few weeks but it made me worse. Maybe I took the wrong iodine supplement? Happy you found your way man. Thanks for watching 🙏
I was doing meat and veges and sometimes fruit to maintain a bit more weight but always 2 meals a day + coffee n tea with milk intermittent fasting but cutting it down to just meat and eggs slowly and no milk i have a lot of fatty meat grow my own and have paddoc chickens for eggs and roosters feeling fine
My view being vegetarian or vegan have changed in the moment I have discovered that there are local farmers in my country that can grow chicken, cows and sheeps/lambs the positive way. I don't believe on being vegan anymore. There is a company that offers standards to this local farmers and it talks about what the animals should eat when they grow, how much space they have for every animal etc.
bro you even got the sheets over the windows youre just like me, and Im getting rid of most of my carbs too. crazy. remember food quality and sourcing is very important.
You may be gluten intolerant. I have struggled with brain fog and chronic fatigue throughout my life. Now I'm mostly gluten free and that's helped a lot. Something to consider if you do go back to carbs one day. You will get sick to death of just eating meat. Everything in moderation I feel. Sounds like you really don't like your veggies! As you only mentioned missing cakes and pasta etc. Great you're feeling good 🙂
@@ninawildr4207 It's not good for the environment though, you all know that right? Plant based will always be my way. Kinder to the animals and planet. ✌
When I Googled whether or not a Carnivore only diet was good for you... it didn't sound too promising. One man stopped after five years due to issues such as joint and muscle pain. Just remember that short term energetic benefits doesn't necessarily mean that it is good for you long term. You miss vital vitamins such as vitamin c and also fibre. Mind you I know that a dairy free vegetarian diet puts me at risk of anaemia, I need to be mindful of getting my vitamins B12 and omega 3's which I often haven't over the years. I'll stop nagging now, but just be careful 🙂 Our teeth were made for grinding nuts and eating veggies... I really think you would be doing yourself a disservice by leaving them out. OK I'm done 🤐 Will let you do you now 😄 Stay well, Heidi
False, vitamin c is still present in meat and when you lower your carb intake, you don't need nearly as much vitamin c. Fiber is another myth. We do not need it and you can't digest it. Look up dr anthony chaffee, shawn baker md, and kent carnivore on fiber/vitamin c on youtube.
google should not be your source of reliable information, on anything. fiber is a myth, we do not need it. we cannot digest it, it is useless, my bowel movements are 100x easier without it. vitamin c is in meat.

Can I ask what happens with Vitamin C? Isn't that important and lacking in meat? How do you handle that (if its really a problem, maybe It isn't)?

Thanks man. I'm comitting to 90 days 😊
One day at a time, my brother. Keep pushing on your journey. And don’t quit! Keep your eyes on the prize, as they say.

Dear carnivore soldier,
I am on day 7 of Carnivore diet.
Thank you. I'm glad you're getting some nice results! Let's see where this diet takes us, friend.
My gut was destroyed on the plant diet. Meat healed it completely. Good luck on your journey.
Yeah, the human body is VERY sensitive to what we do to it. It wants its own normalcy, good or bad.
Your journey sounds very similar to mine. I tried all the diets and supplements too but what i found helped the most diet wise was avoiding all grains and limiting dairy. Thoroughly enjoy your videos bro. Keep it up 🙂👍
For me, carnivore sucked ass.
but when i went over to animal based, WOAH.. what a great diet. amazing.
I want to keep it up but keep loosing too much weight adding in lard or tallow with scrambled eggs etc
Carbs for the win

The light is too bright for the filming haha. You seeing some changes by removing the carbs?
And yes, I made sure the food quality is top notch!
Oh yeah I love your videos.
I'm over a year in now with no slip ups, after a while you will not be remotely interested in eating anything but meat.
I love meat foods. Yum!! I like your views they calm me down.
Goooo’ Emil!!! 💪🏼
Btw…flødeskum med lidt vaniljeekstrakt tager toppen af sødme trangen😊
Haha takker 😁 og godt tip 🙏
Just be careful, it could cause more cravings or prolong addiction.

90 days is good...
Any side effects yet?
No, nothing noticeable.
Pick it up pal , short story long “ do you even lift “
