What a cool thing to see a fellow artist use these tools. In truth these plugins exist as embodiment of my music, tones, mixing methods & what I desire to see and cannot find in any other format or tool to go next level heavy -- I engineer the things I use, it's a lot of work and a lot of fun. Love to see it Brendon. To those reading, yes it's 50% off right now, HNY 😎👍
@@BrendonKPadjasek yeah and fwiw blown out wall has zero circuit topology from hm-2, it's totally it's own thing, I made it versatile to be able to get those tones but actually go beyond the capabilities, hence blowing out the wall (and a blown out wall of sound ;)
@OTTOAUDIO Would it be a stretch to maybe see in the future, let's say....maybe... a dedicated bass ampsim from otto audio? Holy shit it would probably create a black hole....so never-ending that idea....lol.
So, I've watched a couple of your videos with the 11 11 and finally tried it out last night using your code. My 9-string sounds so heavy it pushed my spine out of my body. 13/10 would recommend.
I first learned about the II II II II from your walkthrough video and it's been the backbone of my guitar tones ever since. Lots of IR's claim "mix ready" but Otto cabs actually deliver, unsung heroes of the plugin
Yeah man it’s a shame they’re a smaller company because imo more people need to know about the magic of Otto Audio. Thanks for checking it out! I haven’t tried many IRs tbh so I don’t know what to compare it to, but I’m 100% satisfied with the results
Eh thanks so much! As you’ve seen if you made it to the end, a lot of that tone is coming from the blend of the II II and the blown out wall. Highly suggest trying the free trial out to see if it works for your setup
Appreciate for the words man! And yeah I organized in a way that would make sense to access but for some IR loaders it's a nightmare, I will do a duplicate folder in future with all of them in it 👍 Great idea for workflow Brendon
Thanks my man! I definitely understand why you did it as I often will organize my photo and video folders like that. But I figure most people, like myself, may likely use the free IR loaders so a duplicate would be phenomenal in a future update. You know it’s a good sign when the only “issue” with the product is that it’s too organized haha
Dude who produces Bloodbath's tones parallel mixes the buzzsaw tones with tighter tones to get those evil sounds. I love it. It inspired me to parallel mix my octave up super fuzz tone with my bass heavy doom tone to achieve both the girth and sizzle I was looking for.
oh sick! I dig the grind pedal but I can never get a guitar tone I dig for the style I play. It seems to always bring the noise out of whichever guitar I use. Any tips? Thanks so much!
@@BrendonKPadjasek I guess I'm too weak to give any advice, but it's true that you have to be careful with it. Your playing style is also very organic and I think it won't work in this type of riffs. There are many mixes that sound very computer-like, especially Thall, and there Fortin does his job. You have a brilliant style, I'm waiting for your own music and videos
@radekmusic1846 eh thank you so much my friend! Honestly the tone in that email you sent me was great so you definitely know what you’re looking to achieve! And great point about the more digital music genres and Fortin coming in clutch for those
@radekmusic1846 that’s always always going to happen my friend. The important thing to remember, and I think someone mentioned it in a previous comment, is that you actually want to create your own sound. That mix you sent me was great drum wise and I thought the guitars were awesome as well. Just keep going at it and you’ll create your own sound That’s why people go to will Putney for his sound, zakk Cervini for his, Buster for his, Kurt Balou etc. they all have their own sound and bands that will gravitate towards that sound will go with that engineer. Hope that helps

Outrageous! We are in a golden age for heavy tones
Thanks for watching. We truly are spoiled for affordable options. To think 15 years ago we needed an expensive amp and cab that didn’t sound this good
This helped breakdown alot of the functions of “more is more” it’s so sick, really makes stuff smack.
Glad to break it down. I absolutely love it. Used to use a Blackbox plugin but it has nothing on more is more

That’s awesome. Hands down my favourite amp sim
I think 11/10 is the right number😎 but I won't shun +2 more db haha thanks for the words man.
Hahahah
Can confirm that the II II II II is the only heavy amp sim you’ll ever need
Agreed!

Bro the fucking car alarms fx is sick as fuck.
Hahah thank you so much. It’s part of a sample pack I’ve made that’s coming out February/ March. If you’re interested stay tuned
Damn...that Otto amp sounds sick! Agreed on the sub folders. Oof lol

I am in love with the amp still!
It will be used on the new song!

That’s awesome. I often do that but with an octave down guitar for higher tuned bands
I been using it for bass tracks too. Fuckin rad!
Oh sick. The II II II II or blown out wall?
11, I do chase the hm2 tone and this is a good one for it. The obvious tweaks must be made but this guy did a great job!
Is there a particular mic placement that could be considered a default if you don’t really want to mess with that for now?
Within the plugin or on an actual cab?
@ when selecting cabs and such. I got the 11 11 and the cab pack and it’s friggin frightening for a beginner
@KingCharles-o6z if you can just pause the video where I ended off on the rhythm tones that’s often where I end up. That’s where I land on my template
@ dude thank you! You’re so quick to respond!
@KingCharles-o6z I unfortunately/ fortunately check the UA-cam studio app to often lmao
hell yeah
haha thanks for checking it out my friend!
@BrendonKPadjasek btw have you tried stl tones controlhub?
Otto is a great amp, but for me fortin after the update is number one :D great video as always, best regards
