@ZL1LoVeR I think that was definitely the stronger of the 2 breakdowns. That last one was rushed lmao. The last build, breakdown and double kick part were all one take so I had to do what I could with it haha
Absolutely incredible stuff as usual, would love to see more content where your vocals are present, you have (imo) among the best sounding vocals in the scene!!
Thank you my friend! I do a lot of video/ commercial work and mixing as well so I write as often as I can. I’ll continue it though haha. Thanks for checking it out
Hahahaha thank you my man. Never really wrote hardcore stuff like this on tubing that low haha. As always, love the ii ii ii ii. Will likely be in every video in some way or form
That YESSSS BROTHER part was killer 🤘So incredible to watch you do that in such a short amount of time. I can't focus for more than a half hour on trying to write something lol And was going to drop this comment on one of your other videos but I've been playing around with the Aurora Absylon plugin and having fun blending it with the Otto II II II II, thought you might want to check it out too. It sounds great with my Bass VI and 8 string 👍
Thank you for the suggestion. I’ll definitely check that plug in out! And thanks for watching. I also over analyze parts but making videos like this or short guidelines are always great to force the creative flow and not over think it. Then overthink it later
Yeah I kinda like it too. I’ve gotten really used to programming drums but hearing the looseness in it and the inconsistencies is pretty enjoyable I gotta say. I just gotta work on my drum fills hahaha. Thanks for watching !
Thank you so much. Yeah I find you definitely learn a lot about yourself and what’s comfortable note wise to go to for quick ideas and then change them a bit later
@BrendonKPadjasek Both. Programming drums or how you export them to be gain staged or gain staged before export etc. and then how you set your levels and settings to prevent clipping and how you bus your mixes and master chain and all that useful information. I think You could do a couple of videos with these parameters that would help a ton of us producers!
@@BrendonKPadjasek True. Something like "are your levels wrong and you don't even know" or "unspoken secret to get the biggest mix ever" something click baity :p I'd fall for it. If you do anything of this sort I am for sure tuning in!
@NormanTiner then you’re in luck hahaha. They’re mostly in the $100 range. Minus the overheads and snare top but the sm57 is cheap as and great for snare top
@@NormanTiner Many at once. 8 actually. 2 are going through my UAD apollo 8 and 6 are going through a focusrite scarlett octo pre. so same conversion as yours. The only drums I have going through the UAD are the overheads
I could but it might be fairly useless unless you have every plugin I use. I could do a video on it though if you’re interested in that? Or I could do a stock plugin version
@user-qh5en1io5v oh that’s good to know. I realllllly wanna try one. But I really enjoy writing these songs on the squier bass vi. Just put out another song today and I was kinda shocked when recording it at how clean the note definition is in A0.
Idk man. Giving extra 2 minutes for battery dying? That doesn't fly in speed running. You'd have to start over. Jk lol. Sick video as always! You're making me thirsty from those sustained drone notes!
@BrendonKPadjasek nah, you're good. I think it's funny to see those nuanced fails. Extremely relatable. Yeah dude, we're definitely going to use the bass vi in one of our songs. Not this next ep, but the one after. ;)
What interface do you use to record drums? I would love to mic up my acoustic kit but I only have a Scarlett 2i2 and I use a Roland td17 to control P IV. I would need like at least 8 inputs for a full acoustic kit right?
I would say at least 8. That’s how many I’m using now. I use a UAD Apollo 8 and a Scarlett Octo pre. Though to be fair, 6 out of 8 channels are from the octopre. If you were to get one and use an ADAT cable to link the 2 interfaces you’d be good. And I got mine used for insanely cheap. Like 200 cad
Thanks for watching! Which part did you like best?
The 1st breakdown was insane… I mean all of it was… but damn that was filth
YESSSS BROTHER!
@ZL1LoVeR I think that was definitely the stronger of the 2 breakdowns. That last one was rushed lmao. The last build, breakdown and double kick part were all one take so I had to do what I could with it haha
Thank you!
Hahahahhaah hell yes
I'm a simple man:
When I see Brendon's new video
I like it
Hahaha very much appreciated. Thanks!
Absolutely incredible stuff as usual, would love to see more content where your vocals are present, you have (imo) among the best sounding vocals in the scene!!
Thank you so much! That means a lot. I do plan on doing some more vocal related videos in the near future so stay tuned
So glad I finally found this channel. I love structures
Thanks for checking out the channel and also for the structures love! Means a lot
@@BrendonKPadjasek heck yeah dude. Ill be binging the past videos and the new ones that come out.
@Citadelband530 thank you so much. That means a lot!
Awesome! I bought a bass VI because of you, you give me inspiration and I appreciate you
Oh hell yeah that means a lot. Thanks for the support! I absolutely love the bass vi. Haven’t used another guitar since haha
you are nuts man, im surprised you dont push out more music you are a creative powerhouse

Vocals, for sure💯
Hahaha we’ll see how it goes
Vocals… please 🥺
Great track! Loved the intro and that punk to metalcore part was pretty cool
Eh thank you so much my man. I don’t know what’s wrong with me but every time I get on the drums I just want to play punk beats haha
Now it's time to record vocals in 1 hour 😅 You are great Brendon! I love what you do and your music, especially with Structures
Thank you my man! That actually wouldn’t be a bad idea haha
my guy bringing fresh riffs and of course love the II II II II with the bass VI
Hahahaha thank you my man. Never really wrote hardcore stuff like this on tubing that low haha. As always, love the ii ii ii ii. Will likely be in every video in some way or form
Has a total S.O.A.D. vibe to me. Sick man!!!

Lol gotta say that with the untight drums this sounds absolutely fine and so cool. Programmed a d quantized the feeling would be gone for me

Now do vocals on that track and my life will be compete❤️🙌🏼
Much love, Brendon
haha thank you. There will be vocals, but they may not be me
BANGER!
Hahahaha thanks for checking it out my man! I had a lot of fun on it
This is a really fun way to force creativity without feeling forced.
Obviously I wanna hear vocals over this bish why ask lmao. Great as always mane
Thank you so much. Yeah I find you definitely learn a lot about yourself and what’s comfortable note wise to go to for quick ideas and then change them a bit later
Sounds dope dawg
Thanks my friend!
we got brendon padjasek ranked songwriting speedrun before gta 6
hahaha i don't even know what to rank this one
LOL absolute 100% in my opinion bro, song goes hard as hell haha I'd love to see vocals on it too 😼😼
@mofforium hahah thank you so much! Stay tuned then
*Very impressive 🔥🤘* _I love drums recorded live_
Thanks my man! I also LOVE working with live drums. It’s a rarity these days but amazing
Most talented person
Awe thank you my friend. That means a lot. There’s sooo much room to get better on my end. I played the same fill like 3 times haha
Would absolutely love to see how you gain stage and go about the smaller minute details of how you get this clean big sound!!
Oh thank you. With the drums or guitars?

@RazeOurTyrants_ absolutely! Definitely makes sense to me, whenever I have time in the future I’ll hop on that
Could you do a video on how you mic'd the drums? They sound super solid.
Sure! Thank you. They’re for the most part cheap, not great mics and I just processed them to shit haha
@@BrendonKPadjasek excellent. I'm definitely in the "cheap, not great mics" boat. Only good mic I have is a vocal mic.

Any chance you'd release your Ableton template? The tracking method on it looks very efficient.
I could but it might be fairly useless unless you have every plugin I use. I could do a video on it though if you’re interested in that? Or I could do a stock plugin version
When's the next structures album coming out? I need a new stuff!
No spoilers ! Hahah thank you so much

Thank you!
Have you played the Ibanez SRC6MS ??
I haven’t yet. I’d LOVE to though. Love Ibanez guitars
@@BrendonKPadjasek It's not as beastly as the squier 6 but it's great for D or higher. Sounds so much better than any guitar.

My guitar record lag, latency low, problem freeze cut sidechain
Which DAW?
@@BrendonKPadjasek ableton. Your guitar record is in-auto-(off) how can that sound come out when you re-play (space)
@fetyandodio I use UAD console to monitor my guitar so I’m never listening to it in Ableton because there’s always a bit of latency otherwise
Im tellin ya man make a slam video you will get a ton of of views
