There are several people in the comments that didn't understand as to why Foley artists are a thing. For one, getting the perfect sound for the scene without any background noise or unevenness is much easier when you just have a Foley artists with a bunch of props on hand. Plus, there are scenes where, honestly, you quite literally can't recreate in real life for sound. And you have to think about the fact that using actual sound may be too loud and play over the voices. @0:25 The sword sound when she swiped her card though 😂❤
Bruh, she has like a top 3 most important job when it comes to creating a game 🔥
Hearing that familiar sound of the assault rifle being created by a pare knife and a torque wrench was magical
Amazing stuff. Top shelf quality Foley right here. And Joanna seems like a blast to be around with :)
Wow this is dedication, I could only imagine the amount of hours she put in.
Wow this was amazing to watch. It taught me that the specific sounds are very important to the immersion in a game. And you can easily tell she loves her job… i love to see stuff like this
man im impressed doing such a hard but fun job.... im amazed
I could never do what she does, but she makes it look so fun and sorta easy! Awesome for her!!
He* him*

Foley artists are the backbone of the entertainment industry. Many people talk about the actors or the directors but never the foley artists
wow this was super cool! Joanna's passion is so evident and fun to watch. I'm so thankful for creatives like her, society is better with them around!
So that's how it's done eh? That's amazing. The sound effects are so real and in tune with what's happening. Timing's gotta be on point too.
Sometimes you see weird people pretending they have some secret insight and are more thoightful then they actually are.
Not her. She cheerfully and playfully creates two wildly different moodes for the same scene, in a way that seems simple to her but like magic to me. Very impressed. A literal unsung hero here.
Ill say it. Shes a literal genius at her craft.
i was about to say something when i read the first part, im not gonna lie
Wow.. just wow the time and the enthusiasm you have to do this for every sequence is crazy
great to see a breakdown on video game sfx on youtube! esp cool to see a female foley artist for one of these behind the scenes ^-^
@annihilam yea shes still a female
@annihilam i agree. you cant change biology, i wasn’t saying that was the case. just saying she’s still a woman if she wants to be, regardless of her initial gender.
@annihilam3408so she's still a female
@annihilam biologically she may not be a female, but she’s already transitioned and has been identifying as a woman for a while. she’s a trans-female, meaning she’s still a female.
@@yaaeerrgghhh he isn’t
she is the true artist

I never even thought about having two separate audios in two separate places.. I just thought they had really small and strong mics on the actors…. Amazing
she so talented
She talks about her job with so much that you know she loves what she's doing. ❤️
