Your roof is a bit steep but just think- it’ll never be covered with snow😂😂😂 another thought is if you’d build the cabin walls up higher after putting the loft floor in , you’d not have needed to have the ridge so high.
It is, steep, don't think it matters though. A lot was based on wood and board sizes as wood here can be challenging and simplicity of the build. No probs being steep, no snow here and it's sheltered from winds and never built a tiny house before. No plans we wing it as we go

Excellent work and fun to watch. The time-lapse of the roof build made it seem like everything fitted together very well but I suspect there may have been a few snags in between, making it hard work overall. Brilliant episode and well worth the wait 👍

Hi yes we are 5cm insulation boards, 2cm air gap then plasterboard, and thank you 🙂
Could have gained so much more roof space by making two long dorma windows each side of the roof had so much more width and height and light
Could have but it's not what Rosie wanted. It's exactly as she wants. There is a window to go in later too fyi.

Thanks and will put gutters on the cabin for Rosie and collect the water . But ultimately the bathroom will be almost next to her, when I actually build it 😊

Can you do anything with your mics ther very poppy tinny maybe turn gain down and take a little mid freq out of the sound graphic , just seems very sharp for the listener
Must be your end as sounds fine on our laptop and in headphones, taking mid out would make more tinny surely

Imagine how hot I will be in the roof in the summer unbearable
Nah be fine, we're 3 summers in here so well aware of the heat. We live in a van and had no probs Insulating her against the heat and for our cats. The tin is raised so there's an air gap, 2nd we're putting 5cm insulation boards in then plasterboard with another 2cm air gap. So be fine 👍 ultimately once our main solar system goes in have aircon too 😉
