When I was in high school, 2 seniors who were best friends were going from grad party to grad party and went down some S-curves very fast and wrecked. The passenger passed away. As part of his punishment, the driver had to go to different high schools and talk to students about what happened.
They’re definitely doing something about it here in Colorado where Half of us hve a driving impaired charge without being given the option to test . I just went to a court ordered madd panel last week and there were one hundred of us required to be there. That said it was a really good one and I don’t mind that I paid $70 to hear her story.

The lady who was driving drunk had no business being on the road, I am sorry for her loss, and I am so happy that she was able to find love again after such a traumatic experience.
In my opinion its not an accident, accident is something that just happens, something unforssen, unavoidable... You dont have to be a genius to realise when drinking that you shouldn't drive if you 3times the maximum accepted amount...
Then you don't understand what the word "accident" means. An accident is something that happens that a person did not intend to happen. This person just wanted to drive, there was no intention of killing anyone. Therefore this is an accident, whether you like it or not.
My cousin was killed because he was drunk and high and got behind the wheel. The only thing I’m thankful for is that he was the only one killed and was the only car involved. There was someone in the car with him but idk who she was but she lived.

My mom and I got hit by a drunk driver when i was 4. My mom now has arthritis in her neck from the airbag and i had seatbelt burn but thats it. I'm glad we didn't get killed. I can't imagine this woman's loss.
The fact a lady with SIX prior duis was able to get behind the wheel is crazy work. I'm no lawyer, but if I ruled the roost you'd get one "freebie" and then the next one gets your license revoked for a very, very long time, irrespective of the damage done or lack thereof. And I say that as someone who witnessed a young relative damn near torpedo their hopes and dreams for one that didn't hurt a soul (Thanks be to God). She's on the straight and narrow now from all appearances, and I think has a chance to actually get over it from a goals standpoint, but to say it forever changed my view of her wouldn't be a total understatement. And again, no one was hurt in that incident.
Sure because a habitual DUI offender really cares if their license is revoked or not 😂 Because so far they have demonstrated that they really respect laws and authority so they would never drive if they had a revoked license

This is why I myself am a big advocate against drunk drivers as well after a colleague of mine from college was killed by a drunk driver and someone I went to college with had ended up killing someone while she was under the influence. That girl ended up taking the life of a newlywed women! People really have got to learn to either don’t drink and drive and learn to call a cab!

I wish inside edition or someone does a story of the many car accidents, and some of the deaths that follow out in lower Yakima valley Washington. My mom was almost taken what we locals call these connecting roads the triangle of death. So many accidents have happened out here for such a low population, and now with the rise of people on the phones it gotten worse. It’s not just drinks and druggies. It’s terrible. The local news stopped talking about it because it happens too often out here.
That was such a sad story but I'm also really glad that she let herself find love again and have kids. I lost my fiance to a sudden death heart attack when I was 20 and she was 19 and it took me 15 years to get to the point where I could date again. I got a wife and two kids now but you never get over losing someone you love... and she lost her kid too; I can't even imagine that or how she had the strength to get back up. She's strong; that's for sure.

He showed us pictures and everything, his poor wife and 2 kids, his kids only being under 3 years old. This happened in 2008 the accident, I never cried so hard in the gym, and I wasn’t the only one too. I will never drink and drive ever! Plus I don’t even like alcohol too

He and his brothers lost their mother to death when they were all little. Their father, an immigrant to Canada from Poland, raised those little boys all by himself. Mark used to carry a card in his back pocket until he was in about grade six. The reason being that he could not spell his last name from memory. He is now about 69 years of age and still lives in Canada. All the best to you.
Well I want you to know that I raised my children to never drink and drive. They all all adults and always they talk with there friends on ok who’s going to drive us all home safe. This is the type of situation that could happen if you drive drunk. Just me teaching this to my children as they grew up that even there friends learned that from my children. This just shattered my heart watching this video so everyone please teach your children this about drinking and driving can kill someone could you live with that. It’s not just a normal conversation you have to teach children young enough so that they will use it because they were always told what could happen.
