    Thanks Bjorn for another great video. I don't think I'll be as intimidated by triangular shawls anymore because you explained the construction very well.

    Thank you for the four examples to achieve the same result. I always wondered how/why and you showing all four together gives me a concrete map to chose the best method for me to get what I want for each project. You always give clarity and simplicity in your demonstrations. Thank you & Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 to you & yours♥️!

    The different ideas seem very interesting. The one issue I have is that you did not show from the beginning. I liked the first shawl you showed and would have loved if you showed how to make this from the start.

    Hi, thanks so much for tutorials. They really are such a great help. I have plans for loads of shawls & at some point, I will be knitting a bottom up Shawl. To confirm, if my Shawl is 200 rows in total length, I start B1 and B2 at row 100 and where do I place the decreases? Thanks so much for any advice.

  • @irmacorral8836
    @irmacorral8836 6 років тому

    Excelente. En el tercer caso, pienso que si se el ancho que necesito del triangulo, podria empezar por el ancho y disminuir hasta llegar a la otra orilla y evitar ese torcido de la punta. Seria facil hacer los calculos porque estamos aplicando las teorias del triangulo. Son muy buenas sus ideas. Gracias.

    This is a great tutorial, thank you . I am truly grateful. I do have a question. Why knit the bar below instead of a yarn over for an increase? Thanks.

      It just gives a different look to the shawl than the yarn over. Design element!

    I am knitting the third example, the blue swatch knitting from one corner to the opposite leg of the triangle. I wonder what is the best way to bind off the long edge that might match the other leg of the triangle that was created with the slipped last knit stitch. Anyone who could help would be appreciated!

    Could you please provide the name of the shawls that uses each technique so I can have written instructions for each type of shawl technique? If a technique doesn't correlate to one of Skeino's shawls, could you please provide written instructions? I would love to try at least two of these right away! Thank you for the videos-Bjorn is a great teacher!

    Questions regarding third example. 1. Do you start with c/o of 5, knit one roe then start increases? 2. Are you slipping the last stitch of each row as if you knit it? Or pearl wise with yarn in front? 3. It looks like you knit the beginning st in earth row in the back loop, is that right? It’s hard to see on the video. Thank you

I have noticed nothing has been put on utube for the last 4 years. I hope he is fine. I hope he begins again has his tutorial for his patterns were amazing.

    • @SkeinoYarn
      @SkeinoYarn  8 років тому

      What's wrong with this one?

    • @jmarylastone
      @jmarylastone 8 років тому +3

      the camera should be from the top or a "higher" view from the angle in this video - I know how to knit and love the tips and tricks but half the time his hands are partly covering what he is doing (and sometimes too far away) or it is almost out of view at the top of the picture - it is a strain to see EXACTLY what he is doing - he is a good teacher showing wonderful things why would you want to make it hard for newbies to learn what he is trying to teach??

    • @SkeinoYarn
      @SkeinoYarn  8 років тому +1

      +jmarylastone thank you, we will see what we can do. It's not the camera you are referring to but the angle.
