      Just wanted to share my experience
      I also have a well. Had a hair mineral analysis and I came up with w high levels of uranium. Had the well water tested and indeed it showed high levels of uranium. Had to use binders to rid my body of this and get a purifier for the well. Now have to add minerals back into this water. Quite the process.

    I'm lucky to live near several natural springs filtered through limestone mountains above where there is any agricultue. One of them comes through an iron ore vein and is higher in iron. There are always locals there filling water bottles as the tradition has never died out here. I shower and wash dishes and clothes in water from my community well. Love it!

    Thanks again Dr. Sean. Found out there's a location about 40 minutes away with about 8 wells, all having different mineral profiles. They even provide a chart of the testing. Going to swing by there.
    Funny thing about minerals in water. Several studies done across the world, comparing two municipalities close to each other with different filtration, produced startling results. There was a marked increase in heart disease in the towns that installed reverse osmosis systems. The mineral content in RO water is virtually non existent compared to multistage filtration. In all 3 cases, (different countries in each case), the increase was noticed within a year of the systems going on line and steadily increased the longer the systems were in operation. Criticized because they were not double blind studies, it still makes it hard to ignore the data. The towns were close enough that climate, diet, and activity among the populations was basically the same. These results lead to many bottled water companies putting some minerals back into the water they were going to bottle after it had been treated. That's why I have a 3 stage filtration system in my house and not an RO system. Minerals are NECESSARY for the body. If your town uses an RO system, you need to get some colloidal minerals and add them to your drinking water.

    Hi Doc, that is a Great tip to collect water directly at the spring site. All bottled water in the U.S. receives some degree of protection treatment. Micron filtering, UV, ozone. Most water (not spring water) is reverse osmosis (RO) permeate. That is the clean, pure water. Then it is treated. Some add back minerals to improve taste.

  • @van123446
    @van123446 2 місяці тому +4

    some good points there, and, of course there's an 'and' ... Unless you have several natural springs to collect your water from, you will then end up with the balance of minerals that one spring will offer, which unless you test it, you won't know.
    I still think a better solution is to get a distiller, and ad microbes and or a balanced mineral blend to it. I personally believe that the type of minerals found in either spring or well water are predominately inorganic rock type minerals as opposed to organically bound minerals that are found in plants and animal blood and tissues. I would bet that inorganic minerals, over time, over the years precipitate out and collect throughout the body. I have no science to back this statement other than my own personal experience.
    I used to use a low sodium sea water concentrate from Australia, claimed to be ionic in structure and highly absorbed, but found they ( drops in water ) cause a negative feeling in my stomach even though I like the taste.
    There are a few companies that sell ( redicuously expensive ) little two ounce bottles of ancient organic mineral liquid in an acid solution ( I forget the acid base they use to chelate the minerals from this ancient bed ). Never tried them. but would love to find an organically bound source of minerals that I could add to distilled water.
    And then there's the question of whether or not we even need the trace amount of minerals found in water, if we are consuming healthy animals? Lots of carnivores out there who claim not to take mineral supplements. But then many promote electrolytes ( which seems to me to be a mineral supplement in it's own right.

Year after year agencies find problems with just about every plastic used in the food and beverage industry.
