Released in May 1981 as Heaven 17's second single, I'm Your Money failed to chart and was not included on the album Penthouse and Pavement released later that year.
Oh this is awesome - the bass and synth melodies are interesting . Great song
Another great & unusual cover. Top notch. Agree with Brian about 'Are everything'. Buzzcock's always did great A & B sides. Heaven 17 did a great cover. Would love to hear your take.
Great cover of the H17 record a lot of people have never heard of. 12" only, I believe - I've never seen a 7" single of it - and I like it so much more than 'Fascist Groove Thang' (if I never heard that again, it wouldn't bother me). However, yet again, the star of the show is the 'B' side: a storming version of the brilliant Buzzcocks track, 'Are Everything'. That hammers along wonderfully.

Have you heard the track that The Human League (V.1) made for the dance troupe 'Hot Gossip', called 'I Don't Depend On You'? For some reason, The Human League released it under the alias 'The Men'. An odd little disco number, and why it was never a hit is beyond me. A really good vocal from Phil, and a real funky 'earworm' tune, too.
If you do know it - any chance of a cover, please?
