Just got my extended control kit for my g45 yesterday in blue after about a year on backorder. I was surprised and pleased. I'm taking it to my gunsmith to install, I don't feel confident to try it myself. I also have a magazine release in blue I wanted to install but my gunsmith talked me out of it because the part is aluminum and he says the metal release will damage the polymer magazine.

I do prefer larger controls. Especially ones that I can use with a glove.
The single, best item that every Glock should have. Women and older shooters have been astonished when I've shown them the difference.

Just installed this in my Glock 19X. Absolutely recommend adding this upgrade to your gun. Have the Gen 4 version on my Gen 4 Glock 19. Will worth while upgrade. Way to go GlockStore. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I love mine and it's in black... however, like the factory one, the paint job doesn't last long. I do love the product though!

Im surprised they haven't made a stand type cup that resembles the tape roll to sell, with different collors and GS stamped on the inside where the parts fall in with a cap to store the extra pins and springs.

Cool, but I have man hands and have no trouble reaching the factory slide stop with my thumb. Good idea making a different color though

If you enjoy going to the range with your Glocks this is a must have. No more fiddling with your noodle failing trying to look cool while reloading. The extended nubbin on the lever allows easy access to send it home every time!

I have a G45 with the extended slide lock and this item gets caught on the holster causing the gun hard to get out of the holster.

I tried these and don’t like it at all. It’s great for thumb release but I want a ambi slide release so I can release it with my dominant hand index finger and this makes it harder to do.

I notice that you store does not carry accessors for Glock 45 9X19, such as colored Mag wells, pin accessories, extended mag release. Will you at the near future?
the Glock 45 takes the same accessories as the Glock 17 gen. 5 (for frame accessories) and/or the Glock 19 gen. 5 (for slide accessories)
I never understood why after all these years that Glock doesn’t improve on these things themselves and include them in the new generations.
Also notice how he doesn’t show himself using the factory slide stop before putting the new one in. It’s not really necessary unless you have very very short thumbs

?🤨 all this time I just grab the back of the slide, pull back, and release. Get full force of the whole recoil spring for chambering.
I mean it is called a slide stop, not a slide release.
And I'm stuck in commiefornia limited to gen 3....

You can't go wrong using the slingshot method. It gives the most force to chamber round

I think the extended slide stop is easier to be stuck on ur cloths or something when making a draw, and in a combat, life or death scenario, and wouldnt want that risk. Hence, i dont think this upgrade is worth it.
You're free to think whatever you want, but you're wrong about it getting stuck on clothing. Extended slide stops have been available for years and have never been an issue.

Gen5 is ok, but in my opinion Gen3 remains the best GLOCK generation.
