I’ll have a bit more thank you
@@finelineguy8733 Oh, there's more, alright. But only the first one is free. Here's the bargain. You will help me steal production capital so I can put a box on every TV in town, and Become Gotham's CLEVEREST CARBON-BASED LIFEFORM!! And in return... Is everyone paying attention? I will help you solve the greatest riddle of all. The MOTHER of all riddles: "Who is Batman?"
TLJ actually told Jim Carry: "I can't sanction your buffoonery"
I rememvber reading that, and I thinking "Geezus, that stick is so far up TLJ's ass he must be tasting bark"
Tommy Lee Jones was right
Tommy Lee Jones apparently genuinely disliked Jim Carrey on set
I mean, what can you say to that except, "alrighty then"
@Izaan ur rehman Oh well TLJ is a Harvard graduate and an Oscar winner..i think TLJ would be ok with that.
"Very few franchise's tones are campy and dark, but.... You pull both off nicely."
Jim Carry was a genius as The Riddler! I can't see anyone playing that character any better then he did in this movie.
The little hop jim carrey does at 2:57 makes me laugh every single time.
0:23 the fact Jim is waiting to enter the scene is just hilarious xd.
"Heads: we accept, and Tails: we blow your damn head off" Love that line
Let's be honest, if the coin lands on tails, Riddler wouldn't even have a chance to show off his inventions to Gotham city and Batman. Two-Face will put a bullet in his brain.
Now were talking
So what would the movie be like if it land on tails?
I bet Tommy Lee Jones secretly wanted the coin to land on tails
Same
I know this movie isn’t that great, but Jim Carrey nails this role!
This movie is excellent because its so cheesy and over the top ridiculous
This movie was fire imo
he shouldve been the joker. the best of em
Good Batman

"That's never gonna heal if you don't stop picking." Ouch!
I thought it was "start licking."
picking what?
Really?
@@pyramidhead138 He's talking about the scarred half of Two-Face as if it's a scab.
To funny 😂
4:38 to 4:54 was brilliant; we needed more of this type of Two-Face in this movie.
MasterJo Cohen í
Ikr?!
Exactly. Tommy Lee Jones made the mistake of trying to out-overact Jim Carrey, the undisputed king of over-acting. He should've gone for a lower, more dark and intense delivery, like at the end of the video, where is delightfully gruff and gangster-ish. A dark and goofy counterpoint to Carey's bright goofiness.
Agreed
+Mad Hatter No Nicholas Cage is the king of overracting
The Riddler visiting Two-Face is like a geeky kid visiting his favourite celebrity at his home. 1:10
This isn't a scene between the Riddler and Two-Face, this is just an off-script incident of Jim Carrey staying in character while trying to talk Tommy Lee Jones out of blowing his brains out, but Schumacher loved it so much he kept it in the film.
😂
Always loved Two Face’s theme here at 0:21 fit’s so perfect with the character when they play it throughout the movie just an overall iconic and unforgettable soundtrack. Same with Kiss from a rose by Seal.
You think it fits for him to have a theme that's in three, instead of two...?!
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions
U2’s “Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me!” is my favorite song from this movie.

0:23 Jim: "I'm just waiting for the Ass-istent director to cue me."
0:57 Two-Face: "The Green Lightbulb!"
2:08 This growl sounds like carnage
Whatever's your opinion about the character or the actor, you can't deny Carrey's skill with the cane. That's dedication.
That’s how the Riddler truly is
“But then if I talked, what would keep you from slaying me o segregated one? By the way, that’s never gonna heal of you don’t stop picking.”
Best lines in the movie
I was expecting a "Sssmokin!" or a "Somebody stop me!" but to no avail.
Alrighty then.
I love how Riddler's dramatic and "sinister" introduction is interrumpted by Two Face.
1:02
'Did anybody tell you, you have a serious incompulse problem'! Love that line.
This is the point
Me too
*Impulse control problem
"Who the hell are you?!" That voice though. 1:01
Its like mark hamil's joker
I really think Tom Waits would have made an interesting Two-Face. He needs to be in at least one Batman film.
Ashley Pomeroy I agree. If Tommy got along with Carrey, he would’ve been an interesting two-face.
Sounds like blackhat from villainous cn
I love how Jim Carrey just stands and waits for his line behind the half split wall where you can see his face in the flickering light.

I think that's why shes in a batman movie, cuz of her last movie poison ivy
+Angela Parejo No its not, I know that, but the name, its the name of the movie and also the dc villain so maybe that's how they come with the idea to have Batman And Robin star Poison Ivy
Its kind of silly the way his room is literally half and half.
Like his face
@@missfit8650 everything is so literal on this film. No subtly or nuance. Unless they spell things out in great big capital letters they were worried the audience wouldn't get it.
0:24 most people would call the Riddler just standing there a continuity error, but I could totally buy this Ridler just standing around waiting for the perfect line to walk in on lol
Comparing this version of the Riddler to the new The Batman’s Riddler is crazy to see the contrast in takes on the character
1:25 I bet that’s what TLJ really wanted to do to Jim Carrey
They really hated each other and Joel Schumacher never wanted to work with either one of them again.
I love how you can SEE the Riddler standing off to the side as Two-Face's minions are telling him what's for dinner. And I love just the sheer giddy joy these two feel as they are talking about killing Batman. They are just GIGGLING at the thought. lol
Jim Carrey was actually impressive as the Riddler. Comes off really hilarious and natural. Plus I was just watching Eternal Sunshine of Spotless Mind three days ago, and man, the range on this guy!!!
He still has extremely limited range. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was the only time he didn’t overact.
@@thedestroyer2alltrolls411 I mean I love his over the top acting. He makes it TOTALLY work for all the characters he plays and that's why, I don't find him to be overacting. Also, it's mostly just his comedic performances. His dramatic performances are also incredible too. Like Man On The Moon is one impeccable dramatic performance for me as well, even though I do realize not many people like him there. I also love his phenomenal dramatic work in The Majestic as well. Eternal Sunshine should have legit been his Oscar win that year.
eternal sunshine is way better then batman forever
That Thank you and The Sneaky walk at 2:58 by Jim Carrey is just hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You can see the feud in their eyes but still managed to pull of the scene perfectly

Jared Leto based his Joker on this Riddler.

2:51 Logic Mistake: The Riddler just entered two faces hideout moments before...So how on earth did his two devices magically appear on the side? Did he enter hours before to place them there? And if so why didn’t someone say something? The only thing riddler had on his person was his cane...It’s things like this that truly bring the movie down 😂
He’s obviously already been there
This was one of favorite Jim carry roles along with him as the Mask, Jim Carrey, and Dr.Robotnik.
Now when did Jim Carrey play himself between "The Mask" and "Dr. Robotnik" ?

This movie is too much xD
Schumacher-concept.
It style
The funny thing is, Jim Carrey, acts like this in real life too. He has also battled with severe depression and is now deeply spiritual.
And insane along with possibly giving his deceased ex-gf herpes without telling her he had them.
For some people is comedy and entertaining people a form of therapy. It makes them feel better about themselves.
I'd say something else but I might get 'silenced'
