We were there 2 months ago, and it seems the prices have gone up 50% at least. I got 6 oz of A5, it was 59,99 per OZ. W T FFFFF. It was the best food I have ever had, though.

Thank you Arlene! It's very encouraging to see people are enjoying the channel. My friend will be joining me for a lot of my upscale meals. Maybe she'll even make an appearance on camera in the new year, we'll see. And you really can't go wrong with any of his restaurants that I've been to so far so whichever you pick I think you'll enjoy. I'd be happy if they comped my dessert but I'm fine paying my way. Still a small time UA-camr and I'm not expecting any special treatment. In regards to late night meals, I think the Grand Luxe Cafe is a solid choice at the Venetian. But my personal go to for late night is at the South Point at the Coronado Cafe for their graveyard specials. I grab a $5 cheeseburger and fries there pretty regularly when I have late nights
I just went there in October the food and customer service was awesome. I loved it there. I didn't really like the decor but it could have been because we were upstairs in the closed area. I had the beef wellington. It was so delicious.
Customer service for us was flawless as well. Incredibly attentive and courteous. I've dined upstairs before and I agree, I like it on the floor level. It just has a certain presence and feels unique. Beef wellington is always a good choice at a restaurant of chef Ramsay's. Thanks for watching!!

I missed this one! Wow, Shin we were there I'd say, in 2017 or so and yaa off the charts for presentation and flavor. We were up in the elevated area overlooking where you were. Glad you loved it, also we waited for our seat as we were there early sonwe chatted with the girl working the bar area at the entrance, good times.

I LOVE that place...he changed the bread basket, though? I remember it being a bounty of three or four different breads...was one corn bread? I've been there three times just for that bread basket. But if you say the new one is one of the best, then I'm in!! And those soy mushroom caps...again, I'm in!! Wow - thank you for doing this!!
It has changed since that bread basket, I know exactly what you're talking about. The pull apart loaf is now 2 parts with an onion bread and a wheat portion. They're still very good. Thank you G L!

@@VegaswithShin sometime, I’d encourage you to visit Andiamo steak house in the D hotel in downtown Vegas. It is lovely and intimate with great service. Prices below the strip for same quality steak. My hub and I shared a table side Caesar salad and a tomahawk steak. The steak was a good $30 less than on the strip,at the time. Things may have changed, but it is well worth checking out 🙂

It really sucks that the prices have gone up so much, we go there almost every year for vacation, and it's the best food I have ever had. We went a few months ago and the A5 was 59,99 per OZ. It's almost doubled in price since when we first went. You can get x3 that in JAPAN for same price. Kinda sad.
Yeah, prices on the strip have skyrocketed in the last several years. It's insane to see how quickly my videos get outdated when it comes to price. I hope it slows down at least somewhat because it's crazy expensive out here right now. Thanks for watching!

The price is high, but you do get such a great experience! We enjoyed our experience immensely and I cannot recommend Ramsay Steak enough. It's one of my favorite restaurants!

The $30 I paid went for good. Good taste, good portions, well prepared, etc. it felt I was on a fancy restaurant
I ate here in 2014. It's still one of my top meals ever.

Hello shin, curious what u do for income since u spend a lot on dining out. Can’t just be UA-cam income, right?
I have a day job, and I'm relatively frugal with just about everything else in my life. UA-cam is just a hobby for me, one I really enjoy, but I don't ever see myself becoming a full-time content creator. UA-cam brings in some money, though nowhere near enough to cover a meal like this. As for the Frugal in me, i'ld spend $530 to collect more Louis Vuitton/Gucci Wallets, LCD TVs, Laptops, Tools, etc.... Anything Materialistic, except Travel and indulge in fancy feast(Characteristics of Women, they're wire that way)

I humbly suggest not living your life with arbitrary rules like going to upscale restaurants only if you have a hot date. You'll miss out on opportunities you didn't know were there. That said, yes, we had a fun night and a great time.
Interesting that you consider purchasing Louie wallets as frugal. That's a point of view I have not heard before. I'm also intrigued that you associate travel and fancy dining as effeminate, thereby alluding purchasing material things as masculine. I simply associate both with having money. And if you only have enough to choose between one and the other, then you shouldn't do either and use the money to build your wealth so you can do both. But that's just me. When you mentioned Alaskan king crab season… did you hear they’ve closed it for the entires season this year? I think I saw it on 60 minutes. Yeah- none will be harvested at all! So, eat up!
I typically recommend staying center of the strip if you can afford it. Being able to walk in any direction is nice. Linq and Harrah's are affordable mid-strip options. I personally like staying at the Venetian for middle of the strip as the rooms are enormous suites and they have a host of great restaurants. The strip is very safe all things considered per capita of visitors, but personal safety is also personal responsibility. I wouldn't go down any dark alleys wearing a bikini alone, but that's also because I look awful in bikini's. But walking on the strip when all the visitors are about is very safe.
Christmas Day is a very busy day in Las Vegas. Like you, not everyone in the country celebrates Christmas, and many of them find themselves in Vegas for the holidays. And king crab has been out of season for quite a long time. This year's news is that snow crabs are also not in season. It's a big deal as most crab legs at Vegas buffets are snow crab legs. Definitely have to eat up now while I can.

Prices seem outrageous
These are relatively standard prices for a steakhouse on the strip. Certainly not a casual place to eat, and generally a special occasion type of restaurant

Shin! Why on earth didn't you use a ring light attached to your phone? Everything was lost under a sea of red lighting from the restaurant which is such a shame.

No food is worth that kind of money. You can go to Flemmings or Ruth Christ and lots of other places or 1/3rd the money.

Golden Steer Steakhouse blows this place out of the water! And half the price! FACTS! Was good but way overrated & overpriced! Waste of money
For all the times I visited Vegas and since having become a resident I've never made my way to the Golden Steer. Planned for it a handful of times over the years but it never panned out. I will try it soon enough though and I'll try and video my thoughts. Thanks for watching!
