Thought I would drop a comment to say that I watch all your reviews and I'm vegan! You do an excellent job of commenting on the food and I like that you take you time with thoughtful detailed commentary on each dish. I also like that you give us a look a good look at the menu and the environment. Whoever is doing your camera work is on point! I appreciate that you are positive but honest with your reviews.
We went here last year and it was such fun dinner without the pretension of the fance steak houses. Way better than the place at the Palms. Thanks for the video!
This place seems like somewhere that would have regulars for like 50 years, if that makes sense. The view is pretty darned cool and the ribeye sounded so nice.
Yes! I know what you mean! A place those regulars would say, "let's go to the spot" and they all knew where they were headed. Such a classic feel. And yes, the view was incredible and we really enjoyed our dinner. Thanks for watching!
As a former fine dining Chef I appreciated your food review, it was informative and honest as well as descriptive , great job, and great job Binnions .
The old school steak house vibe looks great + the palette cleanser is always appreciated. Nice job Binions. I still love the Golden Steer, but would definitely try this next time we're in town.
The raspberry sorbet was perfect, and I really appreciated that. The view was fantastic. The food was solid. I like this place and if you do visit, I hope you enjoy the trip! Thanks for watching!
Came on my birthday while visiting Las Vegas. I had a 16oz New York strip, loaded baked potato, veggies, and a glass of wine. Steak and the sides were amazing. I also got a free lava cake. I would definitely recommend this place.
Great review, Binions took part in a behind the scenes documentary years ago and it does not look like the steak house has changed much. It looked like a fab meal.😃
This felt like one of the definitions of classic vibes and I really liked it here. We enjoyed our meal and had a really nice evening. Thanks for watching!

Nice review Shin. You always give your honest reviews. I can see you really tasting every bite before you declare it good. That atmosphere looked amazing, so old school vibe to me. My favorites would be the breads, shrimp cocktail, the French onion soup, cowboy ribeye, and that baked Alaska, definitely an old-time dessert we used to make at home years ago. I would love to sip a cordial after dinner and take in that glorious view. Shin, I enjoyed this review, well done!!
Thanks Kim! I just call it like I taste it. We really enjoyed our evening here. The vibes were great, the view was incredible, and the food was solid. The desserts were amazing as well. Thanks for watching Kim!
Hi Shin....Big fan of your videos! My wife and I are going to Vegas next week and many of the restaurants you have reviewed we will be going to, including Binions! Thanks for all the content!
Excellent just enjoyed it so much. Thanks never thought you’d get the veal in a steakhouse but the blackberry sauce sounded interesting. So glad you tried it. Great review
I agree with you on the lobster appetizer. Lobster is a stand alone delicacy and needs very little enhancement such as batter and frying! Steam and maybe butter and there you go! Loving your video! Thank you.
Maybe I should have opted for the larger portion and bone-in. I think a large party in front of us got the last of the mid-rare so we were left with the medium and medium-well portions. Thankfully the ribeye was great. Thanks for watching!
Anyone know if any of these swanky steakhouses allow you to come in for coffee and dessert only. Maybe on a weeknight? Those desserts looked fantastic. I loved the views! I think the server should have explained the flavors of the bread, butters and salts so they were not a surprise. Thanks, Shin!
I don't see why not, but I've never tried so I can't tell you with absolute certainty. The views were incredible and we really did love both desserts. Thanks for watching!
The chicken fried lobster and blackberry veal were really interesting entrées! I'm not a big fan of prime rib unless it's a deal anyway, so hearing it was subpar wasn't surprising. I've never seen escargot served in a pastry, so that was highly intriguing too! The desserts looked amazing also, combined with the views, this place looks like a definite must do!
Great video 👍...glad you enjoyed your meal...all the food looked so pleasing except for the prime rib 😮😢...like you said, it probably sat too long and it was late...have a great day 😘🤗❤
Tks for video. Everything looked good. Your videos always make me feel hungry. You have a way of describing the food. Happy eating.always wondered abt binions steakhouse.little pricey for me ❤
Top of Binions is one of the best restaurants I have been to. It has been a while and I think it might be time to return. Everything looked so good. Thanks or sharing your experience.
Shin seems like such a nice guy. I haven’t been to Vegas in years but my dad liked going to Conrad’s in the Flamingo. I believe that it’s closed now. I would definitely give Binion’s steakhouse a try if I ever get back there. It looks like the quintessential place to have a nice dinner.
Thank you! Yes, the Conrad no longer exists at the Flamingo but if you do go, Top of Binion's is nice! I loved the view and the food was solid! Thanks for watching!
That looked delicious! Gotta love when the floppy bacon collared shirt comes out, you know Shin's taking us somewhere nice.🤣🤣🤣I thought the lobster sounded good, never heard of chicken fried lobster, too bad though. That steak looked amazing. I'd have to take a pass on the booger stuffed puff pastry, not a fan of snails. But you are right, kind of like a canned mushroom. Another great vid!
Lmao, thanks Ed. It was our first time hearing of chicken fried lobster also and sad it wasn't up to our expectations. Ribeye was great. I'd go back for it and the bone marrow for $100 steak dinner. I thought it was good! Thanks for watching!
Disappointed the prime rib wasnt great. There's nothing better than a perfectly cooked and seasoned huge piece of prime rib! Flying in tomorrow for my bday! Woo!🎉🎉
Travel Ruby called Top of Binion's "just okay" but I didn't want to give up on them. Your video proved they are better than just okay. A couple of items were just okay but the majority were good
I enjoyed ths video. The ribeye looked so good. It was just too much food. Hope you and your friend were able to finish it off the next day 😂 Thanks for sharing this with us ❤🎉

Great job Shin. Love your work. I usually pick what I would eat & then wait to see if you choose the same. This time you got 2 out of 3 (French Onion Soup & Strawberries Romanoff). I would have gone with the Filet Mignon but really enjoyed seeing your choices.
What a nice place... I love to have the bread on deck, a nice fat cocktail, a well sauced caesar salad not shy with anchovies, and a big n juicy ribeye cooked medium rare with a heavy red alongside. I'm simple like that. 😊 It was nice to tag along with you here. 😋👍🌻
Glad you enjoyed the video! I'd honestly come back for the bone marrow and the cowboy ribeye. A $100 dinner but it comes with sides and you're dining with that view. But I have too many restaurants to film to come back any time soon lol. Thanks for watching!

Loved your video of Binions steakhouse! I didn't know they were still in existence. The food was pricier than I thought it'd be. The main dishes. Mr. Shin, may I make a suggestion that might be more beneficial in an aesthetic way. When you are eating your appetisers, such as bread and large shrimps... Could you please bite the thing in half or cut it? It'd look nicer than cramming the whole thing in your mouth. Especially since you're in a fine dining restaurant. But do it all the time. @@VegaswithShin I thought so! Because you ate it so happily and nicely, & cleanly! 🤣🤣 But, I did enjoy watching your video. Especially since it wasn't one of the big name hotels or restaurants!! 🌺
Another baller $$$ Las Vegas steakhouse review from Shin. Enjoyed the variety of dishes that you ordered. Sorry about your prime rib...but IMO end of the night should not be valid excuse. You're a lot nicer than I would be. My Korean ajushee persona would be coming out hard!
Thanks Dong! I should clarify in that they did not bring it out after I ordered medium rare and gave an excuse of it being later in the evening. I ordered medium rare, they went back to the kitchen, and returned and asked if medium was okay because that's all they had left. If it was the scenario that I ordered mid-rare and they came out with what I showed, I would have sent it back. But they warned me ahead of time and I was really in the mood for prime rib so I went with it anyways. Someone else in the comments mentioned that the finishing salts on the table that I used for the bread is supposed to be used on the meat and I think the smoky salt would have actually been really good on the prime rib. I'll have it give it a try the next time I encounter that. Thanks for watching!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video. I love food, I typically wolf down meals. UA-cam has actually made me slow down my eating lol. Thanks for watching!
I haven't been to either Oscar's or Barry's so I'll definitely have to check them out! I do love Prime at Bellagio and I've missed my Golden Steer reservations every time in the last 5 years for random reasons or another and I've never been either. Want to check them all out eventually. Thanks for watching!
Golden Steer is a 2.5 hour experience. Excellent service and great good. Oscar's is also very old school Vegas. We have gone there just for the crab cake and the mac n cheese. The ribcap is my favorite steak in Vegas for sure though.
It felt very classy and just had such a great classic vibe. The view really sets the mood and I think this is a great spot for a special occasion. Thanks for watching!
@@mreppen1 prime ribs take 6-8+ hours to prepare and different cuts start at different times prior to service. So if a restaurant opens at 5pm, the pieces that are intended to be more medium+ will start earlier in the day. And the roast that is dedicated for medium rare and below are started later. If the initial portions of mid rare get taken up early into dinner service, they can't just start a new roast as even the rare portions will take hours to cook. And the later you arrive, that mid-rare piece that was mid-rare 4 hours ago at the beginning of service is now closer to medium well.
First time come across your video, great content great personality. Video lighting is bit dark maybe because the restaurant lighting. Like to watch restaurants which I haven’t been to in Vegas, keep up the good vibes!
I appreciate that thank you! Yes, most of the steakhouses in Vegas have dim lighting and I use the front camera of my phone so the quality isn't the best. I've been thinking about buying a phone mirror to use the back camera but I know it's very distracting for diners who are in the field of view for my phone screen and I try to reduce my impact on potentially ruining someone's Vegas dining experience. I plan to have a video on every restaurant on the strip as well as downtown over the next 7-8 years and start going to more local places as well starting next year. Welcome to the channel! I hope you the enjoy the videos!
The blackberry scallopini along with that cowboy steak would have been my choice too! I love escargot so that was exciting to see on the menu. I agree, you have to have to eat prime rib rare or med rare for it to be tender and delicious, otherwise it can get chewy. The breaded and deep fried lobster was exactly how I predicted it would be. I haven’t had baked Alaska in years. I think I might make a similar dessert called an ice cream bomb which is a throw back to the past. As usual, thanks for a “solid” review. Ha ha I could t resist.
LMAO! Thanks for the solid comment! The veal and the cowboy steak were both very good! I was quite sad about the lobster too, I was hoping it was going to be amazing. Appreciate you watching. Thanks!
If you ever come East there is a Binion's in Hendersonville NC. It's a nice size, owned by the same folks and a hidden gem for an exceptional steak. I've never had a bad meal there.
Thanks for the tip! I do have friends in North Carolina that I've been meaning to visit so I may just try that if I make my way out there. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin I’m pretty sure you will enjoy Andiamo. I remember a table side Caesar salad , and my hub and I split a gorgeous tomahawk steak. For a much better price than on the strip!
Thank you for this video. You tried every dish I was considering, so I really enjoyed your insight into the dishes. Shame you couldn't get the Prime Rib as you ordered it. What places would you recommend for Prime Rib? What is Binion's Steakhouse dress code? Do I need a jacket or can I get by with a decent collar shirt and slacks? I will definitely check this place out when I come to town.
My favorite prime rib is at Lawry's. I was going to make a video of them but I got told I needed written permission from corporate so I'm waiting on that correspondence. The dress code was business casual though it didn't look enforced as I saw a handful of gentlemen in t-shirts. Thanks for watching!
Thank you! You know, I've never been to the Silverado though there was a time before UA-cam I ate at South Point at least three a week lol. I usually ate the buffet and steak and shake though. I'll add Silverado to the list. Thanks for watching!
I believe you're talking about Hugo's Cellar! I'll have them on the channel eventually. I think they were currently set for late next year or early 2025. Thanks for watching!
@VegaswithShin You conduct yourself with a professional yet fun demeanor that I think you're viewers appreciate. Take a vacation sometime and show us something from from afar! Thank you for the work you put into the channel. Cheers from Buffalo, New York.
The Brown Palace Hotel in Denver used to do a tempura lobster that was steamed then dipped in batter and flash fried. So much better than that fried lobster at Binion’s. At $75 I’ll have the Oysters Rockefeller.
It was a shame truly. I was expecting a lot more. But the cowboy steak was quite good and I enjoy the fact that all the steaks come with sides, something you'll just about never see at a steakhouse on the strip. Thanks for watching!
What's your favorite steakhouse in Las Vegas?
From the vlogs I've seen across UA-cam, Gordon Ramsay's steakhouse
@@stormwolf8144Golden Steer?
Bazarre Meats by Jose Andres remains the best steakhouse meal I've had in Vegas.

Great review. You really attack your food. No half measures.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video. I love food, I typically wolf down meals. UA-cam has actually made me slow down my eating lol. Thanks for watching!
STOP THIS I CANT TAKE ANYMORE IM STARVING!!!!!!!! FOOD PORN I LOVE IT❤
Lol! Glad you love it! Thanks for watching!
Looks great
It was so good! Thanks for watching!
Oscar's and Barry's Downtown Prime if we are near Freemont St. On the strip it is Prime at Bellagio. Golden Steer for an off strip option.
Agree with Golden Steer
I haven't been to either Oscar's or Barry's so I'll definitely have to check them out! I do love Prime at Bellagio and I've missed my Golden Steer reservations every time in the last 5 years for random reasons or another and I've never been either. Want to check them all out eventually. Thanks for watching!
Golden Steer is a 2.5 hour experience. Excellent service and great good. Oscar's is also very old school Vegas. We have gone there just for the crab cake and the mac n cheese. The ribcap is my favorite steak in Vegas for sure though.
very soothing background music
I try and use classy music for my steakhouse videos. Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching!
I’ve never been there, definitely classy. I would go there for a special occasion.
It felt very classy and just had such a great classic vibe. The view really sets the mood and I think this is a great spot for a special occasion. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin I still don’t get why you cannot get a medium rare Prime Rib if ordered late in Vegas. Strange.
@@VegaswithShin makes sense TU.
I went to Terrable's, where a huge prime rib, baked potato, huge salad, and one beer was $4.99. Nuf Sed?
Damn. That deal is literally making my brain melt on the floor. Incredible. Thanks for watching!
Oh my god that place was horrible last time I went. It surely isn’t “prime” rib but maybe it was an off day
Love Binions steakhouse. Great food and great service!
Yes! We enjoyed our meal! Thanks for watching!
Thanks!
Enjoy your videos 🤠
Thank you so much Vickie!
I haven’t been to many. But Jean George at Aria was excellent. For downtown Andiamo at the D was also very special.
Jean George's is incredible truly. I've never been to Andiamo! I'll have to add that to my list. Thanks for watching Lucia!
@@VegaswithShin I’m pretty sure you will enjoy Andiamo. I remember a table side Caesar salad , and my hub and I split a gorgeous tomahawk steak. For a much better price than on the strip!
Deserts looked incredible
They were so good! Thanks for watching!
Nice review
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!
Great Vid !
May I suggest you try Silverado Steak House at South Point.
Thank you! You know, I've never been to the Silverado though there was a time before UA-cam I ate at South Point at least three a week lol. I usually ate the buffet and steak and shake though. I'll add Silverado to the list. Thanks for watching!
What was in the little yellow pouches that were on your appetizer plates?
Those were lemons!
excellent video
Thank you very much!
Oh, I wanted to ask, is that puff pastry on the escargot?
Yes, a really buttery one at that lol. Thanks!
Okay, I'm trying it!!@@VegaswithShin
What was the name of the original steak house? They would give a rose 🌹 to all the ladies, and dinners would be no less than 3 hours.
I believe you're talking about Hugo's Cellar! I'll have them on the channel eventually. I think they were currently set for late next year or early 2025. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin Yessss!!! Please go! That's my favorite place in Vegas with great memories 💗 oh an the Peppermill!
What do you do with all the extra food that you don't eat? Or, do you eat it all by yourself?
I take it all home and eat it as leftovers for the next few days. Thanks for watching!
great review!
Thank you very much!
What was the bill that's my favorite part Shin!
16:08 - $500 for this one. Thanks for watching!
@VegaswithShin You conduct yourself with a professional yet fun demeanor that I think you're viewers appreciate. Take a vacation sometime and show us something from from afar! Thank you for the work you put into the channel. Cheers from Buffalo, New York.
someone please give Shin his own tv show!
Lol, thank you! I'm having a good enough time here on UA-cam. Thanks for watching!
There's local places you can go to that are half those prices & just as good.
Agree with you wholeheartedly! Thanks for watching!
Thanks Shin!
You're very welcome! Thanks for watching!
The Brown Palace Hotel in Denver used to do a tempura lobster that was steamed then dipped in batter and flash fried. So much better than that fried lobster at Binion’s. At $75 I’ll have the Oysters Rockefeller.
That sounds amazing! Definitely sounds better than what I had here. Thanks for watching!
Good review, their steak is not as good as Andiamo or Oscar’s downtown, but I still love it and its worth it.
I actually have not been to either of those restaurants yet but will for a video sometime in the future. I hope they're good! Thanks for watching!
All looked pretty good except for the way too soupy Newburg. It’s a clue not to order the $55 scallops. Thanks for the review.
That's a good point on the newburg. Thanks for watching!
Hey Shin
Great video, do you pay for all of that yourself or ? 😮
My friend tossed in $200. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin sweet
👍
Such a shame about the fried Lobster & Prime Rib 😢 but I’d definitely go for the Cowboy Ribeye Steak 👍 Great Review Cheers 🍻
It was a shame truly. I was expecting a lot more. But the cowboy steak was quite good and I enjoy the fact that all the steaks come with sides, something you'll just about never see at a steakhouse on the strip. Thanks for watching!
Cherries Jubilee is the best desert on that dessert menu there.
So very good! Thanks for watching!
It is good to receive an honest appraisal 😊.
Glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching!
