    That's not just a layout... that's art.

This may be the single best looking layout on UA-cam. Thanks for posting. ...Roy

Great artistry, craftsmanship, and a towering example of the power of an eye for correct proxemics, the proper spacing between things, what's been lacking so badly in the work of those who bought into the "selective compression" nonsense for so many years.

You should video the Eagle running and stopping on your layout. Thanks for sharing. Beautiful layout.

impeccable - even preternaturally realistic - scenery and detailing.
    real artistry on display here.
looks like photographs of an "idealized" real world - where everything was kept immaculately clean.
damn. this beats even the world-famous Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg Germany.
as awesomely detailed as that showcase is - its scenes would never be mistaken for photos of reality.

Your train seemed to spend more time in staging than in view on the layout.

At 2:38 and 2:40 where did you get the Modern Greyhound bus and May Trucking trailer? I used to drive for both and would love to get them.

My dream is to have a layout like this, but model the UP and KCS from Shreveport, through Houston, to San Antonio and Eagle Pass, with the Houston, Glidden, Rosenberg, and a few other subs.

I noticed that on this layout the locomotives/rolling stock rolls very smooth. Nice curving and easy angles. What is the sharpest bend you have on this? (VERY NICE)
The Big Boy sitting in the yard is a nice addition too.I really like the road corner crossing in Livingston! Is that prototypical?
I was wanting to ask,if the next time you do one of these videos,if you would do a "Meet" or 2,maybe 3? LOL! These are entertaining!
I know there is alot of questions in my comment but I gotta ask.
    Thanks for the share.

+Mark Turner Hi Mark, The sharpest curve is 30" (except the connector in Waycross) The crossing in Livingston is protoypical, that is why I chose to model it. So is the courthouse and the surrounding Buildings. I am planning to do a coal train with several meets, shot both from the cab and trackside.

Great planning to be able to accomplish this much operation without the use of helixes, curious what your min radii and grade percentages are, excellent ratio of RR to scenic areas towns etc, really complete presentation. I am surprised your layout has not been featured in one of the major model RR publications.

I'm working on an article for MR. The minimum radius is 30" and the maximum grade is 1.5%
