    For its size/weight the 1526 is surprising. You would be hard pressed to find another brand that gets 20 hp at the PTO w/ a 25 hp motor. Big punch for its weight.

      The 1526 is a very special model and why it has remained in the Massey Ferguson line-up. Lots of features and industry leading specs makes it a great value for those looking for more than a Sub Compact Tractor.

    I test drove a MF GC1723 and there’s a huge difference between that and my 1710,the huge difference is moving the loader joystick to the side of the tractor then having it on the hood of the tractor.

      That was one of the Nice and Big Changes to the GC1700E/M Series and very popular upgrade. Thanks for the comments.

    Nice video Doug ! I'm still happy with the M-F 1526 that I bought 4.5 years ago, & as You stated they make a tractor to fit your needs in this range.& the M-F 1526 has fitted the purpose I bought it for; If I had to choose today which tractor I needed today to do what I need to do; I'd still pick the M-F 1526 hands down.Thanks for the revised video on the 25 HP choices on the M-F's tractors.

      That's exactly the reason for the video to help each find the best tractor for their needs. 1526 is a very special model and fits the needs of many operations. Very popular model we sell here.

    Very informative. I have a 1723E with a backhoe, the one thing I would like is a factory installed cab. Excellent tractor.

      We get requests on Factory Cab with Heat & Air. The Curtis Industries Aftermarket Cab makes it nice but only heated option. It's been requested. My biggest concern would be the added cost and if it would sell with that much added costs. May be worth the value in some regions but not sure all regions. Thanks for the comments!

      Have you checked out the Curtis Cabs? They very nice and close to a Factory Cab as you can get without being Factory. Here is the Massey Ferguson GC1723E Cab Page: curtisindustries.net/product/massey-ferguson-gc1723-gc1725-premium-cab/

    Thanks for the great video!!
    Donyou see the 1526 staying in the MF lineup for some time yet? In my area, it seems none of the local dealers stock the 1526, they say because of low demand.
    Im considering the 1526, and a Kubota LX 2610 at this point

      1526 is available to order as of today and have heard no plans to replace any time soon. We sell several every year and been a great model for us for those wanting a little larger tractor than a subcompact but smaller than a full compact. Plus the added features of 1526 makes it a Premium Featured Compact.

    Awesome video (your last MF 25s video got me to buy my 1825e last year). My 1825e has been amazing. I got a good deal on my 1825e but I will say that if I had to do it over again I think I would go with 1526. The specs are very comparable but you get a lot more premium features.

      Glad the Original "The 25's" video helped you. Love to here the comments on your experiences. the 1526 is a very special tractor with some very special features and it often gets overlooked. Thanks for the comments.

      I just wish the joystick was mounted on the fender instead of the loader.

    I also was wondering if you have a video on what size implements fit behind the different Massey models

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Рік тому +1

      That is a great idea. We normally match the Implement with the Tractor in the RhinoAG Implement Videos we do. But every Implement Manufacturer rates or recommends based on what their implements need. Normally in PTO HP. Like Rotary Cutters the heavier duty the more HP they require. So you really need to look at the Manufacturers Specs to determine what implements work with your tractor or work with your dealer salesman. That what we do at Vahrenberg Implement.

    For some reason, I was sure the GC’s had position control on the 3pt…..not sure that’s an absolute no go, but it certainly is a negative.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  9 місяців тому +1

      GC Series have Up/Down 3 Point. The 1526 and 1800E Series are Position Controlled Hydraulics.

    I have a gc1710 and debating on whether to get 1825e or 1835e for the difference in emissions I just wonder if it’s enough power for 5’ implements that it would not stall with a full box blade or bush hogging

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Рік тому +2

      1825E is going to be the same sized implements as a GC Series since your working with roughly the same PTO HP between all models (or within a couple HP) exception would be loader implements since more Hydraulic Performance. Pulled implements require HP and it's basically the same for them since your dealing in similar HP of the tractors. Want to get bigger implements going to need to get into a bigger tractor and more HP.

    Why is not all size tractors have the backhoe version. It's only the 17 23?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  2 місяці тому +1

      The GC Series must be factory installed Backhoes since they utilize the same seat, change Roll Bar, Hydraulics and Subframe. You can get Dealer installed backhoe on all 1800E, 1800M, 2800E and 2800M Series Models. We have videos on many of those series we have installed backhoes on for customers. Search for Bachoe Models CB75, CB85 and BH.3222 and you will find those videos

      @VahrenbergImplement I hesitate between 17 23 and 17 25. I believe it's arm rest rear light protection. Extra rear light phone charger. Was told its same motor just higher rpm..isn't it weird..

      GC1723E versus GC1725M: 12% for Engine HP, 1/2 GPM Faster Hydraulics (Backhoe Versions are the Same only Tractor Only or Tractor with Loader Models have Change in Hydraulic GOM). Brush Guards over Warning Lights, Rear Work Light, Power Socket in Glove Box are the Differences Between GC1723E and GC1725M. We let the custom decide what they want at Vahrenberg Implement and bet we sell 80% GC7125M versus 20% GC1723E Models. Here is video we did comparing the GC Series Tractors: ua-cam.com/video/fe5wb1T8hg8/v-deo.htmlsi=gtetLJ5paAU3D3ds

      Figured up Percentage of GC Sales: 65.75% are (25 Engine HP) GC7125M and 34.25% are (22.5 Engine HP) GC1723E. We sold more GC1723E during COVID years as they were more available...sure we could of sold the 25 HP if we had available but those years if you had it you could sell it. Interesting we sell twice as many GC1725M than GC1723E.
