    I elected to buy the 1723EB and with the 1500.00 I saved I bought a bushHog that is just right for it.
    They have the same engine, just tuned differently. The way I see it if I use the engine at slightly less than max capacity it will last longer. I have had no situations where I thought, wow I really wish I had 7% more hp. Instead I realize my method or approach needs tweaked. I used a single bottom plow this year and how nicely tHt went. I also put a 50inch tiller on it and wow.
    This little matching is just right for a small acreage homestead or farm space. I am able to do odd jobs in tight spaces also.
    Hint. If not using a quick attach, you might need to turn one or both of the 3point hitch pegs to the inside as the arms cannot spread wide enough for some implements even though they are class1.

    Old video, but the tire on the right front on the E series is on backwards

    Awesome machines, could you do a standard proper service video? Oil changes, filters, greasing, steering alignment.....

    Can position control be added to the three point hitch? Is there anything vulnerable underneath the tractor like the K fan?

    • @Redneck_Ed
      @Redneck_Ed 3 місяці тому

      Yes, transmission fan blades and hydraulic filter are vulnerable. You can order a plate to cover them for about $150. Well worth it and it also protects against the mid mount PTO shaft flying off and breaking off the hydraulic filter if you mistakenly don't latch the shaft onto the spindle properly.

    can you attach a grapple to the front for logs?

    • @rathbonesales6349
      @rathbonesales6349  3 роки тому +1

      You sure can! We stock a grapple with an electric actuator so that you don't have to run 3'rd function hydraulics to the loader. If you'd rather have a hydraulic version, there is an option for that also.

    The seat on the 1725 doesn't really have much of a suspension and it's kinda stiff. Any seat suspension upgrade available?

    • @preppysquirrel9712
      @preppysquirrel9712 3 роки тому

      Not sure, there might be an after market seat. I think it probably has something to do with how the seat unlatches and turns around for sitting while using back hoe.
      , I dont like overly suspended seats. My mower seat is overly supported and I have to hold myself down on bumpy areas of my property to keep the motor running. Steering and using the steering wheel to hold yourself in the seat some how causes knee strain, LOL.

      @ericpowell335 3 роки тому

      @@preppysquirrel9712 I see what you're saying and I agree but the seat I sat on didn't even seem to have much cushion to it. My garden tractor with two vertical springs as the shocks has a more cushioned comfortable seat.

    I have looked everywhere. What are the dimensions of a GC1725 eb/mb. how long is this all put together for a trailer?

    • @vanlifebiker
      @vanlifebiker 11 місяців тому

      I purchased one yesterday but it won't be delivered for a week. I was wondering the same thing & I even have all of the manuals. Nothing states the overall length of the tractor/loader & backhoe attached. My closes guess after reading all 3 manuals would be about 15 feet.

    They have the exact same engine the 25 horse just ramps up the rpm…lol…seems like a shady gimmick

  • @JeffBowe
    @JeffBowe 3 роки тому +1

    Doesn't the 25 go up about 300 more rpm? That would increase to speed a bit.

    • @jimrussell-us
      @jimrussell-us 3 роки тому

      The PTO HP bump is only a few tenths HP higher. Maybe the extra fluid flow is helpful. I have the GC1723e

    • @JeffBowe
      @JeffBowe 2 роки тому

      @Wade Filion Yes but now with 77 hours on mine, I find it very fuel efficient, more so than I expected. I love it, and so far it has done everything I have reasonably asked. It couldn't pull down one very large tree that was stuck in another tree, but even my neighbors skid steer (twice the weight and horsepower) had quite a time with it.

    • @Redneck_Ed
      @Redneck_Ed 3 місяці тому +1

      It would if the transmissions and PTO gear ratios were the same, but they are not. The GC1725 is geared differently, so that's how they get the extra RPM to convert to extra horsepower. If you look at the dash gauges on each of them, they both have the 540 PTO marker at different points which is a clear indication of the different gearing between the two model tractors.

  • @oddlyrightoddlyright2475
    @oddlyrightoddlyright2475 Рік тому +1

    1723e runs at a lower rpm to get the 540rpm on the pto so if you get the higher hp unit your gonna be spinning your engine 600rpm over the 22.5 hp unit….just to get that 1.5 hp more power soooo… just listen to the videos of the 22.5 engines just low rpm grunt getting the job done…which is easier on the engine ,transmission and hydraulic pumps….

    • @Redneck_Ed
      @Redneck_Ed 3 місяці тому

      @@oddlyrightoddlyright2475 Look at the internals of the transmission on AGCO Parts breakdown, the gear ratios are different in the GC1725 which is how they get the power for PTO horsepower at a higher RPM than the GC1723. You can't just crank the RPMs up on a GC1723 and make it produce more PTO or drive train horsepower without the right gear ratios.

      Virtually every single sub-compact on the market is designed in Asia or designed and manufactured in Asia. Even Kubotas BX tractors are designed in Asia (Japan) and some of the BX series are actually even manufactured in Osaka, Japan as of about 2021/2022. John Deere 1023/1025 is the only series I know of that is a USA designed and manufactured sub-compact.

    sadly, this is the kind of video that will NOT bring buyers into this tractor store. first of all, there should be a rule on you tube that says NO ONE can post a video unless they know how to muffle the sound of wind on the sound for the video. this single annoyance is enough to have most people click OFF on this presentation one minute in. the second thing i can say about the "sales pitch" of the kid explaining these tractors is that you need to quit watching "used car sales videos from the 1960's." NO ONE is going to believe you when you make a BIG DEAL out of 1 and 1/2 horsepower difference between these tractors!! now, you can certainly point that fact out and say something like "in some applications, the additional horsepower of the 1725MB may be very helpful - especially combined with the slightly larger hydraulic flow." BUT LEAVE IT AT THAT! and finally, DON'T say STUPID things like "if you enjoy being comfortable" regarding buying the expensive model over the cheaper one. everyone wants to be comfortable!! just say that if you are going to spend a lot of time CONTINUOUSLY on the tractor, you may find the arm rests more comfortable or more desirable. PLEASE - i own one of these tractors. there are all kinds of GOOD THINGS you can say about these little work horses. talk to someone who has really worked one of these things and then just repeat the good things they say!! these tractors sell themselves. they don't need a 1968 used car salesman to "explain the wonderful features of this year's model!"
