    I have one these. Fantastic compact tractor. My grandson bought it at my recommendation, with a belly mower. Uncle Sam called him back to full military service, so my son, his Uncle, bought it from him. I had a larger Massey, so my son took that one and gave me this one. Love it. It can really get into tight spaces and never lacks the power to do the job that I ask it to do. Very easy to operate and maintain. Thank you from Michigan for doing this video.

    I have had this 1723 with backhoe for almost three years now. I did not see that I needed the difference between the 1723 and 1725. I figure the engine will last longer being tuned down a little anyway. They have same engine. It's an expensive wheel barrow for me and is saving my knees. I was messing them out doing land projects and such. I bought a little farm plot and have enjoyed using this to plow and till and bush hog. I bought it a chipper grinder this year and that is very cool. I don't use the back home as much as I thought I would. I think a grapple will be the next item. I have done some favors for elderly friends with this machine that a larger machine could not ha e done.
    A lot of organic farms use walk behind equiptment, but since I am not a kid any more and don't have space constraints many places have, I am very glad I bought this little tractor. I will be able to work longer into my old age. I learned that sometimes you need to reverse the pegs on implements to the point inside because the arms won't spread wide enough otherwise.

      That's the great part with Massey Ferguson they provide choices with the 2 models and configurations to meet what the owner desires. Both been super hot sellers and we try to stock both sizes and configurations. THe GC1725M is our most popular size but it's all personal choice.

    Just got this yesterday and put 6 hours on it today. I gotta say it actually surprised me with the power this little guy has. I was thinking about waiting for the 25 hp just for the armrests but their not needed as far as I'm concerned. Backhoe is a little slow but I run big equipment for a living and this is not that. I'm totally impressed with this machine, wife not so much but she will get over it.

    The GC series tractors are amazing! I have a GC2610, and it always amazes me with its capabilities. I just excavated for a poured concrete foundation on my restored barn, and had to pull out some huge stones first, from the old stone foundation. The 2610 did not fail me!

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  3 роки тому

      Yes they are. The Massey Ferguson Legacy has a great history like your GC2610 and continues to evolve but the base Powertrain has been super dependable and tough tractor. Only thing it lacks is BIG...but that is good thing when you need to be in tight spaces.

    My 2020 GC1723EB has worked well for me since I took delivery in 04/2020. It works even without armrests or 12 volt outlet. I haven't really missed these accessories. I own a really rocky 1.25 acre hill side. I just installed a 60 inch snow plow. Expecting 10 plus inches of snow by tomorrow evening.

      Had a buddy with 12volt outlet in his ashtray. .223 rifle bullit dropped in outlet heated up and went off. Needless to say both driver and passenger baled out(unhurt fortunately). With nuts,bolts,wires, and bullits not to mention screwdrivers, the first thing I would do is disconnect outlet(just pull fuse).

    I have the 23e and put armrest on the seat from ebay for 89.00. I turned the back lights to the inside of the rop bar , i added the 12v accessorie plug. I have a pair of off road lights to be attached to the rop, 1 pointing forward and 1 pointing to the rear. I seriously doubt you could ever tell the difference in the hp of the 2. I think for the money they should all come with arm rest.

      Depends on which sales promotion you are using Cash Rebate Programs or Low Rate Finance Program. And what the dealer offers as far as value added services or extras with the price. Shipping, Added Accessories or Maintenance Packages.... There is more than just a Price need to find out as each dealer is different in what they offer with the sale. May 1, 2021 Minimum Cash Pricing Policy estimates: $18,000 for GC1723EB or $20,000 for GC1725MB.

    Hi I'm tiring to put a snow / grade blade on my three point on the MF 1739E. I have the backhoe removed. The brackets of course stay. I can't find a place to hook my stabilizers. Do you think they sacrificed my connection points for the backhoe brackets ? Where should I hook them?

      The Stabilizers go on the inside when you install the backhoe. You can see them in this video of the CB75 Backhoe when mounted on 1700E Series: ua-cam.com/video/K4WnE2fJsKc/v-deo.html Look at the set-up instructions for the backhoe there is instructions on how to attach the stabilizers for the t3 Point

    How does this compare in lifting capacity to the JD 1025R?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  3 роки тому +1

      Massey Ferguson GC1723E/GC1725M is 1191# at Ball Ends 661# at 24" Behind Ball Ends. Deere says 785# Lift on 1025R. One of the Biggest Differences in these models is Engine to PTO HP Creation. THe Massey Ferguson GC1723E (22.5 Engine creates 18.7 PTO) the Deere 1025R (25 Engine only creates 17.2 PTO HP) so our smaller tractor provides more Workable Horsepower than their larger model.

    My friend recently bought the 1723 FEL and belly mower. I'm thinking either 1723 or 1725 over the BX23s based on specs and price. The 1725 MB is slightly better for a little less than Kubota here.
    Is the 4-way bucket QASS like the regular FEL bucket?

      Massey Ferguson only have 175 Years of Experience in the Farm Equipment Business. Massey Ferguson is owned by Duluth Georgia USA based AGCO Corporation. Bobcat tried compacts once and quit and now at it again but with new owners Doosan of Korea. Massey Ferguson is in it's 4 Generation of GC Series Sub Compact Tractors and have learned a few things over those years. Massey Ferguson is a Full Line Manufacturer and the behind the scenes support system they have in place like AGCO Parts & Service to support every tractor sold for many generations. We still supporting Feguson Owners from the 1950's.

  • @johnneitzey3640

    What is the reason I see so any subcompacts equipped with a backhoe, and much more rare to see a the larger compact size tractor equipped with a backhoe?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  3 роки тому

      It's cheaper on a Subcompact since you utilize the same seat as it can rotate and is preassembled by the Assembly Center. We sell more and more big compacts with Backhoes. Subcompact is around $5,000 and the larger compacts get larger backhoes and can add an additional $8,000 to $10,000 Cost. Guess it is deermined by costs and the value customers see maybe versus hiring a professional contractor or rental of backhoe for their needs. It's one of the things you need to consider when buying...if you will get the value out of the additional purchase.

    Hey man, does this tractor comes ready for a belly lawn mower? and does it have to be a brand mower, or you can buy any? might be a silly question but I have never owned a tractor. And I'm looking to buy something that does kind of everything for our new not big at all property...

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  3 місяці тому

      Mid-Mount Mower can be added to any of the Massey Ferguson GC Series Tractors. All GC Series come standard with Mid-PTO (what you power the Mid Mower). You can add mower later it does not have to be purchased at time tractor is purchased. You would need a Massey Ferguson Mower Deck to use with GC Series Tractor. Every brand connects differently so they are brand specific. Hope that helps

      I would not recommend. Instant Warranty Termination and prevents dealer from working on in the future with Government and Manufacturer Regulations. If dealer caught turning up it's termination or big Fines from the Government. If you need extra Horsepower best to buy the GC1725M versus GC1723E there is more than just Horsepower your getting.

    All they do is turn the rpm up to 3k on the 1725. It's 2600 rpm on the 1723. Buy the 1723 and turn it up 400 rpm. Fyi the John Deere 1025 is 3200 rpm. My thinking buy a 1723 and it won't turn over 2600 so it will last.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  2 роки тому

      There is more than just increasing RPM of the Motor. Fuel/Air Ratio. Also the Rated 540 PTO speed is higher if you turned up the RPM it would over speed PTO at 3000 RPM. There are differences. But the Good Part you can Choose which ever you prefer...Massey Ferguson Gives You the Choice: GC1723E or GC1725M. We actually sell a lot more GC1725M than GC1723E but we stock both and let you the customer decide which is best for you.

    Would guess for most people a backhoe is one of the most wasted money spent.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  3 роки тому

      It depends on your needs and projects to do? Yes it is additional cost Roughly $5,000 additional cost but if you have lots of digging jobs it can pay for itself over hiring a professional or rental. It's one of the things you need to research is hiring or rental costs versus backhoe cost. I had one customer build 2 new retaining walls and buying the whole tractor, loader, backhoe was cheaper than cost for a professional to do one of the walls. So doing himself saved him money and he looked at it as he got a free Massey GC TLB out of the deal for future needs.

      Used the backhoe to push the tractor back on the driveway when I found
      The edge and go stuck. Great counterweight and strong for digging and lifting the tractor out of otherwise sticky situation.
