Vahrenberg Implement I will when my budget allows, I think MF’s GC line of subcompacts are the most underrated on the market I have never heard a bad word about any of them. These improvements they have made for 19’ have made a great tractor even better.

They made some nice upgrades but still built on the reliable, tough chassis & powertrain as previous models.
I got the 2018 GC1710, so before these design upgrades. Great tractor, but the joystick position and non-tilt steering wheel are 2 of my gripes, definitely. I didn't even know about the new baffle added which doubles as the retainer for the air hose, that's pretty smart. Ok, doing good, massey.
GC1710 is super nice machine. The upgrades are nice features but you still have an awesome machine! THanks
great video- at this moment I'm waiting for my new 2020 GC1725M and I'm hoping to be able to plow some snow before spring gets here. I compared the Massey Ferguson and Kubota in that sub compact category and felt MF had a better product..All I have to do now is wait!

Superb video Doug, like all of yours, this new series was put in a bad light by some other, poorly done posts....probably not intentional. I have a GC1710 and a 1726. Little red and big red respectively. Buddy from the gun club came and looked at mine, plus JD and ran out to buy a 1726 with a backhoe. The only problem is that I would love to trade the GC1710 for the new configuration, but unlike an automobile, even after 250 hard hours, my GC1710 is still like new!!!! I won’t be able to justify a new one based on age or function for a LOOOONNNGGGG time. To get the new model, I would just have to do it because I “want “ to, not because I “need” to. Looking forward to seeing the video on the tab model!! Keep up the great work, wish you were near Steeler country, you would be my dealer.

Just bought one. I have 30 hrs on it. Just mowed the lawn for the first time yesterday. I'm happy. I got the hoe, bucket, and deck. It digs much better than I thought any of them would.
Clip on the storage box broke off.
They may be small in size but they are Big on Performance and what they can do. Thanks for watching & commenting.

did you have the wheels on the deck on the ground or suspended? I also have one but in the manual it says finish mowing the wheels should be on the ground?

Massey Ferguson leads in PTO HP Produced in both SubCompact Tractor Products they offer. Engine HP is Gross Horsepower with no alternator, water pump, no accessories just bare raw Horsepower. PTO HP is the Horsepower available to do work and shows the efficiency of the tractor and what's available for the operator to use. Everyone sells on Engine but PTO HP is more important because that helps determine the implements you can use and what you can do.
Tori's Trails I drove on a hill at dealerships the other day, seemed good, but need more research, looking at belly mower and loader, lots a brush removal in tight places is what I’m going to do

Massey Ferguson does not offer a 3rd Function Kit for the GC Series at this time. I have not heard of any other supplier. I think Worksaver makes a SubComapct 48" Grapple.

I didn't see or notice any difference. I'm 6' and 250# but maybe for other shaped or sized operators it could. But if not many dealers still have very limited supply of previous year model, you can still purchase. Thanks for watching and the Comments. Much Appreciated.
I extended my peddles . I welded a 1/4 flat stock and milled a slot in it. Raised my peddles by 3” . Leg doesn’t hurt anymore

So close to pulling the trigger. Question; when mowing, do you have to push any buttons to go in reverse to keep the mower running like in its green competition? Definitely not considering the other, but curious.
No Reverse Limiter with Massey Ferguson GC Series Tractor and Mid Mower. Add Fuel and Go...any direction you want.

You can add Curtis Cab which is only heat to the GC Subcompacts.
is there a heated cab and snowblower available for that model?
Curtis Industries offer Cabs for the GC Series Sub-Compacts and Massey Ferguson offers a Snow Blower. Both can be bought through your local Massey Ferguson Dealer
If you order a tractor can you get a bigger ply tire for the front on the 1725 M.
The Only choice is AG, Industrial or Turf Tires.
Hi Doug is there a Rotaey Broom for that tractor?
Rotary Broom is an option available for the GC Series Compact Tractors. It's front mounted implement that runs off the Mid-PTO.
Have they improved the ground clearance on the mid mower ? I have a GC 1705 and with the mower deck up and in locked ( I use that term lightly. because it does nothing in lock position ) with wheels in the right position for a decent cut, the drag on uneven ground when going from one field to another. For that reason I would never buy another.
For those that need higher ground clearance we recommend using a 3 Point Finish Mower or using the Drive Over Deck and taking it off when needing higher clearance.
Is the GC1715 just an older model ? I’ve seen it is rated right at 25hp like 1725m. Thank you
The GC2600 was the first 25hp model of Massey Ferguson SubCompact Tractors it was replaced by the the GC1715 at 25 hp and now the most current version is the GC1725M at 25HP.

Can u raise and roll the bucket at the same time?
It can be done. Any hydraulic valve can do it but all mechanical hydraulic valves work on the path of least resistance principle. The easiest load is going to lift first. But Both Functions can be controlled if similar load on the hydraulic system.
The 3 point 1/4 inch valving it position control...
You can lower the 3 Point on the GC1725M to the position you want and it will remain in that position.
What is the height of the ROPS since it Does Not fold down?
72" with R4 Tires on GC1723E I just measured one outside the front door we have at the dealership
The 1723EB's at the dealer I went to all the ROPS fold back.
The Backhoe Versions have Fold-Able ROPS. The Tractor Only or Tractor Loader models have fixed ROPS.

I've watched the thousand videos and I just want to know how to engage and disengage 4WD thank you please let me know
Stop the Tractor push the 4wd lever Forward (Right below right front corner of the seat - Orange lever) and it should engage. If it doesn't the most slightly you can touch the hydro pedal and push will align the splines to engage. To disengage. Stop the Tractor and pull the lever back. If it doesn't pull back hit the reverse pedal ever so slightly and pull lever and it will come out.

Curtis Industries makes Cab for the GC Series Compacts Hard Side or Soft Side Cabs. The 25 HP Subcompact is 19.6 PTO HP.

Honestly most dealers I've talked to say they don't carry the 25m's for what everyone is looking for the e 23's are identical and cost less. except for arm rest in the seat, cigarette lighter in the tool box, and thin light guard.
We sell more GC1725M than GC1723E because of the added Features 10% More Horsepower, 6.8 GPM versus 6.3GPM Hydraulics, Arm Rest, WorkLight, Power Port, Hazard Light Guards. Just a hair over $1,000 More. I stock both so I can take care of either buyer. Depends on customers needs and wants.

Our Current Cash Price difference (02/26/2021) is $1,139.09 and Low Rate Finance Price Difference $1,265.65 for GC1723E to GC1725M with Loader. 22.5 to 35 Engine HP is only 2.5 HP but that is 10% more. It's your money and your decision we sell way more like 8 to 9 GC1725M to every 1 GC1723E here in Missouri. Maybe the northeast dealers will send me some because I can't get enough and have presold orders till July delivery right now on GC1725M. Have GC1723E in stock.

I got a 48" tiller and 60" belly mower with it supposed to be delivered today
I love it mowed with the 60" mid mount mower I put the loader to use some as well I am hoping to try the 48inch tiller soon

Can you buy wheel weights,front bumper weights for that tractor like John deer has?
Front Weights are Available from Massey Ferguson. Wheel Weights could be added from Aftermarket supplier or can fill with non-corrosive fluid like Beet Juice or Soybean Oil. We don't sell many weights for Massey Ferguson product as many owners don't feel they need or added expense but stock them because that fit other brands. Sell lots to the Green & Orange Tractor Owners. I recommend try the tractor before you add weight as it will increase compaction. Large Production Farmers try to reduce compaction versus creating more but there are options to ballast a Massey Ferguson if needed

GC1725M Suggested List Prices: (Visit your local dealer for current Cash or Low Rate Finance Programs and Pricing) Tractor Only $14,839.58, Tractor and Loader $18,561.60, Tractor Loader Backhoe $25,658.13. These are MSRP Prices so go visit your local dealer and find out current Program Prices...they should be much lower. (Price 08/19/2022)
The backhoe controls seem backwards to me
My understanding this is how commercial backhoes are operated too. Even has Boom Float like Commercial Backhoes.
Are these good for small farms, for shredding, and brush hogging?
We sell lots of them to small farms for mowing, Rotary Cutter use and a lot more. Tillers, Grapples and many many more implements can be used with them.
Can't manufacturers just make an all metal body I can beat out a dent without having to replace plastic.
They could on a SubCompact but would be hard to add all the features and ergonomics of the controls in the Rear Fender area. Because of the Poly Fenders on GC Series we have seen thee Joystick Control Moved to Rear Fender from the Loader, Glove Box, Spaced the levers out wider added cup holder all in the small space of a subcompact. Easier for a Manufacturer to make adjustments when need ideas are incorporated. Only the GC Series and 1526 has poly rear fender with metal hoods. The 1800E/1800M series are metal hood and fenders but much larger tractor and more room to work with.
That's wrong buddy that's not how it goes. Is a 17 horsepower 25 series
The initial release was lower PTO HP but the GC1725M is 19.6 PTO HP. It's in the most current literature on the website and the Dealer Price Book for the GC1725M. We have even confirmed with our own dyno test in our service shop.
So Deere has a plastic hood and Massey has a plastic rear. It would be nice to find a tractor that is made out of metal. Its a tractor for God's sake.
Do to all the configuration and molding the Massey Ferguson GC Series and 1526 do have a Poly Rear Panel. It would take extensive and expensive process to shape metal into the configuration of the Rear on a Massey Ferguson. It helps keep the affordability of the Massey Ferguson. But Hoods are metal, steel transmission & rear ends on the Massey Ferguson. The Bigger 1800E 1800M, and above are metal fenders and metal hoods on the Massey Ferguson.
