I'm a filmmaker and really need to get the concept of the colors, textures, and unique energy of my film, which takes place in New York and Paris, out of my soul and into a visual. I just started using Procreate and this video was super helpful! I’ve been experimenting using it more with photos and text instead of just drawing everything like I have with other programs (because I’m a dummy lol) so thank you so much for sharing! Super inspiring💕
Making mood boards seem so meditative 😌 I’ve never done one before but it would be so helpful for redecorating the apartment or like pairing my wardrobe down! For Pinterest how do you get to have sub-boards within a board? Can that only be done on the desktop version?
For desktop: When you start collecting pins for any board, if you click on the title of the board there will be a plus sign on the top left above the title. If you click on that, you're able to select to create a pin or add a section. This creates sub-section for your board.
Rainier Cramer yes it’s great for both of those things!! And I feel like you should be able to set up sections on mobile too, but I’m not sure. I’ll DM you on insta later
Love this so much! I've only been taught to make mood boards in indesign and indesign is n o t my favorite. I'm 100% gonna try this method. Thank you for sharing!
Katelyn Clemons InDesign does not seem like an ideal place for mood boards unless you’re into very “structured” ones. I’m just a little more freeform than that! I recommend you try Photoshop or Procreate :) Best of luck!!

I love making moodboards for my short films or music videos I make. I don't have an iPad to use Procreate but now I really want one.
