Ronnie has this big grin on his face Because Steve Gains had just started playing with this band and he is smiling like He can’t believe how lucky they were to get this great lead guitar player that no one had ever heard of Steve was one of the back singers brother
Knebworth festival in England .. Rolling Stones were the headliners .. and everyone was questioning how they could follow Skynyrd . They tried but at that time there wasn't a band on the planet that could follow them. Simply the best band ever
Before this concert the dark haired guitarist said they were in a tent smoking a joint and Jack Nicholson was there and smelled it and asked if he could join them and they said come on in and got stoned with Jack before the show
Out of three brothers, Ronnie, Johny, & Donny, Ronnie is the original lead singer for Skynard & he did die in the plane crash. After the crash & they put the band back together his brother Johny became the lead singer in his place. But also a interesting fact but not related to this band, the third brother, Donny is the lead singer for a band called 38. Special.
This song "T for texas" is not their original song. Though they do a great version of it, it is originally a old old country song by Jimmie Rogers. And Skynard does it great, the original version by Jimmie Rodgers is in my opinion the best version. He has a enire extra verse he sings in his version that Skynard left out completely. Skynard only makes great music, but it is totally Jimmie Rogers master piece & i think respectfully Skynard left it that way.
@@musicguy694 Oh how cool!! We reacted to one of their songs too and it was amazing. No way his brother? Wowww. Now we have to watch some of the newer ones too! Thanks for that. And thanks for being here and commenting! -Ashley & Jonny
