You don’t have to apologize for being emotional I have been listening to this song all of my life It always gets to me just thinking about my mother and how she used to sit me down and have little talks with me about life I could not have asked God for a better mother than the one he gave me I am 54 years old and my mother just turned 82 and I am thankful for every day the Lord gives me to have such a great mother and You look like you love your children very much I just started watching y’all’s channel and I think that yall are very nice people and I appreciate that I’m just an country boy from Georgia and I love watching people react to music I grew up with Especially Skynyrd You want find a better band to react to They have so many heart felt songs They are by far my all time favorite band
Great music with a great message is meant to spark an emotion. I am almost 50 years old and I still get a tear when I listen to this song. It is my favorite song of all time and makes me think of my grandfather and the values that he instilled in us.
I love the lady is so moved by each reaction I've watched! Yes, yes, yes!!!! That's what great music is about! So many people judge others for appearing weak. If you have 3 kids, you'll never ever be weak! I encourage you to let it out! I'll join your guy in telling anyone to go to hell if they have any type of issue with your response to anything share! Cry at all of them! Who cares? I don't!
I’m glad that yall decided to listen to the best Rockin Roll band in history They were only together for five years on the national stage and created some of the best music ever made Can anyone think of another band that doesn’t have a bad song Literally you can take every album of this band and make a list of songs and pick one song and I bet you will either like it or be able to relate to it in some way Listen to Coming Home,Am I Losing Again,Trust and Cry For The Bad Man I could make a whole list of songs but I would run out of space to type it on This band is the best rock band in history to me If Ronnie hadn’t died in the plane Crash This band would have went down in history as the greatest band ever Ronnie was truly one of the best song writers ever and doesn’t get the credits he deserves for song writing ability He had such a good memory He never wrote down any lyrics to their songs He said if you have to write a song down on paper to remember the lyrics It’s not worth listening to
Ive now found your channel & i really like it. Both of you are very relatable & seem to feel as though you are very genuine people. I recomend you guys check out some Hank Williams jr. He has a huge catalog to choose from & in his hey day nobody could touch him & his performances! I like his older stuff very much like, "Whiskey bent & hell bound" or "O. D.'d in denver" or "Mr weather man"! Really to many to list! But if u havnt gathered from some of the titles he is what is considered to be outlaw country. Im sure you & your audience will love him.
I think its so cute that Ashley gets so emotional, she would be surprised at how many songs the past 50+ yrs have brought tears to my eyes & you have many many many more songs to shed a drop to! I could give you a list of a 100 rock & blues songs that will hit you hard in the feels! Just keep being real, makes you more human especially in todays f****d up society! I also never would have thought that sweet tiny young thing would have 3 boys, I have a son 35 & 2 daughters 31 & 28 & 5 grandkids 2-13 yrs old PEACE LOVE n HIPPYNESS ✌💖☮
I believe this was written by Ronnie Van Zant and Allen Collins after Allen's grandmother passed away. Allen, Ronnie and Gary were all childhood friends and I'm sure knew each other's families well.
Please don't be sorry for showing your emotions. It just goes to show that you are human and you have a heart. I'm 71 years old and I tear up every time I hear this song. I lost my wife 43' years ago at the age of 25. We had only been married for 6 years. She passed away 3 weeks after complications from the birth of our son. I know she would have wanted him to hear this song so when I knew he was old enough to understand the meaning i sat him down and played this for him. He is now 43 years old and yes he has turned out to be a simple man. I love him so much. He is my life. So let the tears roll it's totally ok. Love you guys. Keep up the good work ❤
@markroberts8864 Absolutely the two kind of go hand in hand. You don't necessarily need riches and gold like the song says to be happy in life. As long as you can support yourself and your family that's really all that's needed. There's nothing wrong in having lots of money just don't let it go to your head. Just stay simple and lead a good life. If you have a partner be true to them and hold them close, just cause in my case you never know what can happen. No one is guaranteed tomorrow. I miss my wife as much today as I did 43 years ago I would give anything if only I could go back and things would have went different. But you have to play the cards that life deals you.
Great reaction! These are definitely words that ring true. I think it is entirely appropriate to have Ashley's sons listen to the song. You may may have heard a cover of Simple Man by Shinedown.
Shinedown did a great cover of this song! Shinedown has a big connection to Skynyrd. One of there member was married to Melody Van Zant daughter of Ronnie Van Zant Skynyrd's original singer. She and Ronnie' grand child appeared in the video for Shinedown's version
Go listen to the live version - Ronnie takes it to a higher level. Enjoyed the reaction. Ashley never be afraid to show your feelings; it means you're human and that you care.
Prince's cover of "Play That Funky Music" is pretty good, and I doubt it will elicit any tears. His version of "Motherless Child" is pretty good as well, albeit more emotional.
I just found your channel, and you might have done them, but I'd love to see y'all listen to some John Prine. He does funny songs that make you cry and sad songs that make you laugh. A few to check out: In Spite of Ourselves Souvenirs Hello in There Sam Stone Angel from Montgomery Summer's End

I know you guys are gonna hear this from others but you gotta check out Shinedown cover of this song. There's some history with the two bands. Shinedown lead guitarist is married to skynrd's singer daughter. His widow helped them a lot in early days and they recorded the song as a tribute to her as a way to try and show her how much they appreciated what all she did. On top of all that it's probably one of the top 10 covers ALL TIME. Y'all remember Chris Cornell cover nothing compares to you ? It's right up their and some claim better than the original. A lot of die hard Skynyrd fans don't like it. But you owe it to yourself to hear Brent Smith of Shinedown. He's a generational voice and they have over 20 number 1 singles. This is the better version to me and I'm a Shinedown fan. Seen them 4 times. Think of all the music we missed with Skynyrd tragedy. Sad. But be grateful for what we have and grateful that they wrote a song so beautiful it made you cry and think about the ones you love.
ONLY A MONSTER APOLOGIZES FOR FELLINGS OF EMPATHY, CONCERN, HAPPINESS, SADNESS, AND LOVE. DONT EVER BE SORRY FOR YOUR FEELINGS, CONCERNS, AND HUMAN EMOTIONS. ROCK ON!
GENUINE reaction to a GENUINE song every song by SKYNYRD has a story and a meaning behind it...A great message to share with young boys and girls....

Ronnie Van Zant and Gary Rossington wrote the song. As I have said many times when Ronnie died so did the band.
Those are wonderful Mom trears. Don't apologize for that!

Love your reaction - you're not human if this doesn't touch the heart.
check out the Ballad of Curtis Lowe, another great one

With a heart as beautiful as your Bright Angel Wife and a strong, understanding man who shows love to everyone, your kids will be amazing.
I believe this was written by Ronnie Van Zant and Allen Collins after Allen's grandmother passed away. Allen, Ronnie and Gary were all childhood friends and I'm sure knew each other's families well.
The original singers name was Ronnie Van Zant. When he died his brother Johnny took over. Theres also a third brother as well. His name was Donny.
Please don't be sorry for showing your emotions. It just goes to show that you are human and you have a heart. I'm 71 years old and I tear up every time I hear this song. You get it Joe, you can be a simple man; but also be a good man.

For another song that will go to your list try Call Me The Breeze!! Very upbeat!!! !
Go listen to the live version - Ronnie takes it to a higher level. Enjoyed the reaction.
Ashley never be afraid to show your feelings; it means you're human and that you care.
Another great song about parental advice you should react to is "Parents" by Budgie, if you haven't done that one yet. Check it out.
Need to do a reaction to lynyrd skynyrd documentary
Prince's cover of "Play That Funky Music" is pretty good, and I doubt it will elicit any tears. His version of "Motherless Child" is pretty good as well, albeit more emotional.
Shinedown was the band who covered this. You should react to it
Ronnie Vanzant was one of the toughest scrappers. He had a heart though.
Does anyone know if that is Ed King on lead guitar?
Check out Tim McGraw “Humble and Kind” if you want to hear a wonderful message for your children.
