Yeah and its so common! Trying to sell a quick fix short course to innocent people. I esepcially hate those ones that trick people into thinking they are guaranteed a job after they do their 6 week course. Literally people with 4 year degrees can barely get a stable job, let alone a 6 week finance course.... Not sure what the advertised outcome of this course was, but clear cash grab... The only short courses worth doing are ones that enhance your abilities in specific areas or products - and these are usually paid for by organisations you already work for in an effort to upskill employees.

She's really lucky. If it had not been for JJ digging deeper, she would have been out of luck. He's a piece of garbage for letting her hang for the balance of the loan and she's dumber than dirt for being the ONLY person on the loan documents.

When he said 'I got skills.' lol yeah in getting ripped off. if you can talk down someone 1/3 of the price, it's a scam. I don't think they really get the fact they got taken in a get rich quick scheme.

She got lucky! What an UN-honorable excuse for a man. He knew he was part responsible for that loan. Legal or not, he was at the very least morally responsible. Any man that can't provide for his family or has no moral fortitude is a complete loser. The fact that she had to cover all the finances speaks volumes! She totally dodged a bullet!

@CanadianAnglican Even I am looking to do online learning, even after reviews of the institution, it still feels off. So when things get better, I will do further research because it is a known school in Germany. The lady lacked logic is her thinking, even the negotiation stage that they had shouldn't exist that, it should had been a red flag for her because the institution would have made a cut for every student, not just for little Sarah and Josh.
