I found this UA-cam channel called "towtrucker" and I literally just finished watching his latest video before this. 🤣 He does this exact kind of towing ("non-consensual towing") on apartment complexes and stuff where people have unregistered cars, cars with no tags, junk cars, etc and people always come out yelling at him when they had time to fix the issue. Curious to see how this case plays out, as I now come in armed with some perspective as well. 😅

It's different in different states. In some states, there's a spot on the license plate where you affix a state-issued sticker that keeps your license plate up-to-date.
The REGISTRATION expires. That's the plate 'expiring'.

It is NOT a VIN Number (Vehicle Identification Number Number), it is a VI Number (Vehicle Identification Number).
