Right? There's this great thing called cash that people can use. And it isn't even a new thing! If she really wanted to help the defendant, should have handed her cash instead.
It is very easy to convince and elder to let one use their credit card. Wait till it happens to you with a relation of your family.

She's going for sympathy points, probably figuring that most people understand that weather in places like Illinois and Michigan can be pretty brutal in the winter due to the Great Lakes affecting both wind and snow. However, I just did a cursory look at Detroit's weather from about December 15 to December 31, 2017 -- and while temps have quite a bit of fluctuation, there was no appreciable snow, rain or ice, and highs reached up to 43° F and lows only hit single digits a couple of days. The woman is lying through her teeth.
@dashopepper Lol I live in Minnesota and December that year got cold but it wasnt that snowy. I know Michigan gets more snow but shes acting like they got slammed with blizzard after blizzard

before i moved to Germany my sister would give me her card to go by food for her but I never used it for myself, I had her pin number, when I moved to Germany from South Africa i gave her signing rights to my banking account, as I have a large sum of money in that account, so it all depends from person to person, and I receive a monthly pension from the gold mines I worked on, i trust her with my life, I know this case goes about a friend, but who in their right mind gives there credit card to a friend, madness

sadly alot of people do. my mother shared her card with her brother to buy stuff off amazon for her... on his account.. and saved the cc to use it multiple times for her.. told her shes nuts. (he stole an atv from me long ago, unproven ofcoarse.)

@@acemeraouHaving a credit card doesn’t mean you live beyond your means. Some people pay theirs off every month. I have cards like Best Buy which is 18 months no interest and Firestone as 6 months same as cash.
It actually saves me money to use credit cards because some of mine offer discounts or have cash back rewards. For example if I use my department store cards I get an extra 30 percent off my purchase. I then pay off the card with my debit card before I leave the checkout. Whoever in line pays immediately in cash would pay more than I would. Similar with my USAA card insurance. I have the bill automatically charged to my USAA cc which gives me a discount and points. I cash in the points and apply them to my insurance bill which lowers my bill then I pay the rest off. I have to buy car insurance regardless so why not do it more cheaply. The people who have issues with credit cards are usually those who don’t have much self control.
Plus as someone who travels internationally no way I would give up my cc since I have had issues with my bank card before traveling.
