I lent a friend money once, she told me she would pay me back at the end of the month. She ‘forgot’ so I was left in the awkward position of having to ask for it back, she then paid it back. I too learned. It WAS a BFF for over 45 years. She borrowed over 2,000. I cut her off. Demanded a regular payment back in a monthly agreement. I put it in writing had her sign it. Child-free and LOVING. IT.
Come back to this when you're in the nursing home , alone with no one to look after you....
@marietighe6328 You've confused children with staff. Children aren't a retirement plan, dear. Staff are trained, hired, and paid. And frankly, I'd rather be dead than reach a stage at which I'd need nursing home level care. Ask your kids: they probably wish you were dead *now*.
Out of curiosity, does the hospital hand you breeders a crystal ball as you leave with the baby, or is it sent to you afterward?
@@marietighe6328 honey, the money will look after me
I love the "and" and and.. JJ
This is why if you ever lend somebody money. I don't care if it's a friend or family member. Always make out a contract. Doesn't have to be fancy but their signature and your signature with the terms in black and white.
Yup, or just don't bother lending the money in the first place. You'll either never see the money again or you'll never see the friend again. Unless you get collateral.
And a 6 on the way.. sigh.
Mats Jansson Exactly. She's a pathetic fool.
Boy JUDGE JUDY MOPPED THE FLOOR IN THE CASE WITH THE DEFENDANT THAT HAD (5) CHILDREN & HAD THE NERVE TO SAY SHE DOESN'T WORK BCUZ HER (5) CHILDREN IS HER JOB!!! 😂😂😂
A Freudian slip that revealed the truth, right there.
I will never understand why people have babies when they have no money -_-
Have as many children as you can afford. Best words I’ve heard. I have three kids and I can afford it. Some people have 1 and can’t afford it. Big families aren’t the problem, work ethic is!!!
I love how she says she has 5 children, with all the attitude.
Judge is right, though, as usual. You have as many kids as you can afford to take care of. I can understand having 1 or 2 by accident, but if you have 5, and asking people for money, there's a problem.
2 by accident? 🤔
Well, maybe the first time they figured out how it ended up happening, so they take extra precaution and it ends up happening again. That did happen to my parents. They sealed the deal after their 2nd was born.@@okbruh
I remember this case. It was wild. Why was the woman even a friend of this jealous scammer? She should have taught Gebhardt some birth control in those classes.
love the plantiffs glasses. as for the defendant looks like a 6th baby is on the way. if u got a husband, and are able to make babies u should be able to come up with the money to take care of them. if u cant afford to have 5 kids well now 6 then dont have them!
I don't think she is having a baby..her last one is only 9 months and probably took a toll on her body( looking like a bag of wet laundry...lol). At least I hope she is not!!
Lisa G lol
No (even though it looks like it) she wasn’t carrying another child Victorya... Me thinks the only thing she was carrying.... was Leigh Fransens money!
Yesssss
Just by watching this video I finally understand Judy's method to finding out who to put judgement on. She gets people riled up and when they get a bit emotional the truth spills out on accident.
that is why you shouldn't speak fast and think about what you said before you say it. She dug her own grave.
People show their true colours when it comes to money
The sad thing is, most of us know someone like the defendant..... the type of person who thinks they deserve a free ride from anyone who has more money than they do.
It's always such a fascinating study to see the lowest forms of life showing up on shows like this, trying to outsmart the smartest person in the room - such riveting stuff....
This outcome pleased me.
If the plaintiff was lying the defendant wouldn't have any reason to mention her husband getting a bonus at work.
A liar must have a good memory.
"She loaned..and I oop.."
🤣🤣🤣
Her : She loaned !....no no she didn't loan..
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’m guessing those “gaggle of kids” are now annoying the world with their stupid pranks while momma gebhart is justifying their bs in a courtroom
02:20 “I also have a dog.” The audience member on the left (long hair, black shirt) immediately starts laughing, haha. Watch her, also, as Erika says, “She had the money to give me! She LOANED ME... no, she didn’t loan me...” JJ: VERDICT FOR THE PLAINTIFF!!
I lent a friend money once, she told me she would pay me back at the end of the month. She ‘forgot’ so I was left in the awkward position of having to ask for it back, she then paid it back. She asked to borrow again a few months later, I said no and distanced myself from her. She had many other people she could have asked but I believe she targeted me because she knows my husband is wealthy. I won’t ever lend money again.
I too learned. It WAS a BFF for over 45 years. She borrowed over 2,000. I cut her off. Demanded a regular payment back in a monthly agreement. I put it in writing had her sign it. In the writing lol I put I, (her name) agree if I'm not paying this back according to this agreement (my name) can take me to court." That worked!! Lol
Lol that seems fair
"And?"😆😭😂
So you keep poppin out kids you can’t afford and have the nerve to have a dog 🙄
Watching this epic fail never gets old 😂😂 😂
Plaintiff did great. Succinct story, to the point, didn't interrupt, let her bury herself. JJ must have been living for this
"She loaned..."
Judge Judy: I'm about to end this woman's whole career.
Judge Judy didn't waste a second water she slipped up😂😂
The judge was strikingly calm in this case, I never get tired of watching this 😂😂😂
Defendant f'd up real nice at the end there. "She Loaned...". JJ with the hammer, judgement for the plaintiff
I would starve to death before I would take a loan from a girlfriend. Never involve your friendships with money or men or they will end! If my friends need something I just give it. No loans.
