I liked Herma Mora’s old ESO voice well enough. But let’s face it, Wes Johnson’s voice is just iconic. You just can’t beat it. Frankly that seems to be the case for all characters he voices for this franchise.
Oh that's awesome, I started a new game to try the new class, I didn't really like the original ESO voice actor, so I'm really looking forward to hearing Wes' voice in the old quests. 😊
I love it! I still remember to this day as a teenager who'd recently got into Oblivion when it launched, I sent him a message in the old Bethesda forums, basically saying how awesome he was. I wasn't expecting anything back. And yet he was kind enough to reply with a very sweet message. You're iconic, Wes!
Yeah, his voice is cooler this time around. I like how he flows into different tones. Kind of going from Skyrim Mora into a sorta Lucian like voice at unexpected points. It's honestly pretty cool.
@@DataDrain02 I personally enjoyed the Apathetic sort of, liquid nature of his voice in Skyrim. hey, personal takes tho Let's remember that, emotion, intonation from the daedra? All precipitated, sort of deliberate. I like the idea that he has no need for the trivialties of tonal change, unless raged or excited, to even give the GUISE of not knowing what you're gonna say. I mean, he does know what we'll say. It's so much more meaningful, all the daedra don't care about mortal whims... but him? He already saw them happen, ad infinitum. through failure, through life, through death. beyond death even, beyond time. he is one of my fave daedra I have to admit
Jyggalag had ultimate understanding of order and logic so he used it to organize all information and deduct the past present and future. Mora on the other hand uses inductive reasoning, hoarding knowledge and observing everything which is why he entered the skaal chief's to add his experiences to apocrypha.

Du menar när dom gjorde det på pts? Dom första 2-3 veckorna hade den gamla skådespelaren. Denna video var inspelad senare på pts. Jag tror inte detta quest är tillgängligt på live servers ännu.
It's definetly different compared to how we heard him in skyrim. I think the skyrim version had a lot of reverb added to it as well. I found this video on all the skyrim hermaeus mora dialogue, if you'd like to compare for yourself ua-cam.com/video/0oydhPSfrF4/v-deo.html
@@mynameselias it’s more than reverb. He used to speak with a Slurred style of speech he talked about it on the elder scrolls lore cast (Wes ) and did it live it and it sounded exactly the same sans the reverb. Now he speaks more clearly and does this up and down low to high thing and throws in the slurred speech. I think zos prob made him change for whatever reason But reverb doesn’t change your speech pattern
@@mynameselias yeah but on the lore cast he did it perfectly only maybe a year or less ago and sounded exactly like the one in Skyrim. My guess is Zos told him to do it in a certain way for whatever reason

A different voice actor? It’s not too bad in my opinion, I’m just excited to see what this Necrom DLC holds, Daedra VS Daedra is so interesting, I just wonder what Prince it is.

Wes Johnson is such a good voice actor.
UPDATE: as of Necrom pts, the older quests involving hermaeus mora have been updated to use wes johnson as well!
0.0 HECK YES I WAS HOPING FOR THAT!
Now, if only they'd do something like that for Sheo.
Like, no offense to the current Sheo in ESO. But... Wes IS Sheogorath.
Same thing happened with Vaermina.
Nice, im questing in DC now, looking forward to hear his new voice in Bangkorai. :) Currently in Rivenspire. :)

He sounds way cooler than he did in Skyrim. This is peak voice acting
My adhd brain could listen to this for hours
The way he says glyphics lol

YES!!! I hoped he come back.
ABOUT TIME! He should have also been Sheogorath!
Let's hope we all get to see him in Elder Scrolls 6!
Great to see him returning. The base game voice was far from desirable.
YIPPEEEE!!!!
I miss his original voice. This one isn't quite as weird
This is the same VA using the same voice wdym?

Must be different writers than the ones who wrote dragonborn

Yet he still doesn’t voice sheogorath. At least let him voice Jyg boy if we get a shivering isle expansion
