The bass player, Wayne Nelson, singing lead on this one is the only member of the band left from this video that is still touring as Little River Band. Wayne does most of the lead vocals now. i saw them in Jacksonville, Fl. about a year and a half ago. They were good, but they were missing the edge that they had back then.

I've seen them live, and they are just as good on stage as in the studio. Awesome tunes!

For the longest time I thought this was John Farnham on lead vocals... it sounds like him! Didn't realize it was Wayne Nelson (bass). When you get to Farnham, check him out on his own, especially his rendition of the Beatles' "Help," which he's made his own. There's a reason he's called "The Voice."
My fave LRB track is "Help Is On Its Way," which I'm sure you'll review next. ;)

The LRB had several lead voices over their time together, and I would suggest it was the greatest collection of male voices in pop music....

I love LRB. About 6-7 years ago, I was driving Uber, and three ladies got into the car. One was younger, but the other two were about my age. (I was born in '60.) One of the ladies, who was apparently the mother of the younger one, spotted my LRB Greatest Hits CD and commented on it. She said that I would get a 5 rating just for having that in my car, but I told her I would pop it in for her. We got through 4 or 5 songs during the ride, with the mother repeatedly telling her daughter things like "This was OUR music. It is what we listened to." The daughter seemed to dig it as well.
A nice companion for this (thematically, anyway, but quite different musically) is Supertramp's "Lover Boy."

Created some of the best Harmonies ever recorded from this Album in 86'

Try "It's A Long Way There" off of their greatest hits album. This version is better than the remastered long version, or even the live version. The guitar work is phenomenal.
