I agree! Been a fan since childhood! I was fortunate to see them live twice in the 80's before John Farnham joined. They need to react to "Night Owls" and "Cool Change."

I haven’t heard this song in years, but I was able to sing along with every word just now! Love this group-they were my first ever concert in 1978 when I was 12 years old.
They are such a WAY underrated band, with lots of great songs. "Its a Long Way There," is another cool song of theirs with lots of their trademark harmonies.
Awesome childhood memories here. You'll also love their other hits Take It Easy On Me, Help Is On the Way, Happy Anniversary, Man On Your Mind, Night Owls, and The Other Guy. All 🔥🎶
"Playing To Win" 🔥was another great song of theirs with John Farnham on vocals. More of a hard rockin' 80's tune, than their laid-back 70's style ua-cam.com/video/1_ad9TqnVEo/v-deo.html
@@bethwodephotography I'm a little late to the party here, but I must say that with so many LRB fans on here, it's a shame that they've apparently never heard of "Curiosity Killed The Cat." It truly is one of their best songs.

Queen of Hearts can be anything. To me, it was always love. He was unlucky at love. ...but, he still kept on trying. Such a universal theme. All of us have to keep on trying in those 'loser' areas. It's lonesome. Someday we'll get it. We just know it.
This Australian Band is one of the most underrated Band of all time! The album version of It’s Long Way There’ is a fantastic guitar solo track. Also Night Owl, Happy Anniversary!
Long Way There is my favorite LRB tune. Saw them on a cold snowy night in 1978. With a girl I loved but let slip away. Magical night. Excellent and extremely talented group!!!
That band was famous for their vocals and the harmonization. It made them instantly recognizable. I think the First Under the Wire album was their best.
There is a reason why The Eagles called LRB the greatest vocal harmony band on the planet, It's A Long Way There showcases this along with some awesome guitar work in the 8 minute odd version
John Farnham was a member of Little River Band for a couple of years. They did a song called 'Playing To Win' that is unlike anything you reacted to by Farnsey. He also does a live version and you know how good he is live.
This song is great. Another awesome song is " The Night Owls " because if you like Lonesome Loser then you will love ":The Night Owls for certain. Also, if you like more rockin Little River Band songs then i also recommend " man on your mind "
Most LRB hits were written by founding members Graham Goble, Beeb Birtles or Glenn Shorrock, but "Lonesome Loser" was written by guitarist David Briggs, who joined in 1976 after the band's second album. Little River Band are known for their vocal harmonies, which are front and center on this song. It opens with a distinctive a cappella intro by Goble, Birtles and Shorrock that makes the song pop when it comes on the radio or in a playlist. The chorus, which is where the harmonies take place, shows up four times in the song, including off the top. It's an effective hook that puts a distinctive stamp on the song.
The first time I heard them was "It's a Long Way There". Such a fantastic song. Been a fan ever since. It's a Long Way There is still their best song in my opinion.
Since you just announced that it’s the 2-year Anniversary of your channel, let me suggest LRB’s “Happy Anniversary”! Hey but they have so so many great songs. Please continue to dig further into their catalogue! You won’t be disappointed.
Our high school installed a juke box in the lunchroom in 1979. This song and Bad Case of Loving You by Robert Palmer seemed to be on constant repeat. I'm sure it held 100 45's, so there was 200 songs to choose from ... but these two were pop hits at the time and got lots of plays. Finally some Senior stoner got fed up and unplugged it during this song one time. I still laugh about that 43-ish years later. But I digress ... a great song and another great reaction guys! Keep it up!!
One of my fav Little River Band🤗🙏💜 songs ,they have loads of amazing songs please go down the rabbit hole with them . Thanks for always making me smile, good vibes and much love
Great reaction Amber and Jay! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this song...can hear it over and over and over and over and over...great harmonies. Great band, great singers. Peace.
Love LRB! I hope your next one is "The Other Guy", which is one of their 80s tracks. It's a great song about reclaiming a loving relationship that's hit a rough patch.
@@angelbulldog4934 I agree. "Cool Change" is my song for life. It represents new beginnings or renaissance in life's challenges like a break-up & reunion, a change in life's direction, and my survival song following transplant surgery. It so mellow and great for meditation as well.
Little River Band..... I wore out their albums ...... you'll love songs such as.... Help Is On The Way, Reminiscing, Cool Change , Long Way There and many others. They're a band you two need to dive into......you won't be disappointed.

This was from the 5th album from 1979, " First Under the Wire", and was the lead single. It reached Number 19 in Australia and Number 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US. The harmonies are front and centre, with beautiful capella intro of Goble, Birtles and Shorrock and repeated 4 times in the chorus along with a great effective hook. Such a great song about a man who continues to give his heart and loses everytime. Great reaction. Buckets of Maple Syrup love from Canada ❤️❤️ 🇨🇦🇨🇦

There's so many memories associated with this band. They're called "The Eagles of Australia" because of their tight vocal harmonies. You guys got it right. These guys are great. Much love to you guys from Southside Virginia!
Another one of those great classic rock singles. There are so many great bands from that time that had albums out but everyone knows them by like 2 or 3 monster singles. This single has all the right stuff: great lyrics, 4-part vocal harmonies, great feel and of course like all great singles an unforgettable hook in the chorus that has "hit" written all over it. Too bad you guys didn't grow when radio was still around. The FM stations would play endless streams of classic songs. You could listen for 24 hours, never hear the same song twice and every one was a classic. I mean you can still listen to "classic rock" stations today but what if those disappear?
Man, you guys nailed it with all three selections today. These guys were incredible in concert and their harmonies are instantly recognizable. Great pick.
You guys listen to this one again. Don’t be sleeping on that bass playing! Literally EVERYTHING in this song is firing on all cylinders. I’m soon to be 59 years old. My daughter is 25. She was asking for some “good music” from her momma. We purchased a LRB album at a flea market in our town for $1.50. I know. Crazy. Lonesome Loser is by far her favorite, but she loves every song on the album.
The 70's were the BEST! So much musical talent. Lots more great LRB tunes for you to check out: "Help Is on Its Way," "Man on Your Mind," "The Other Guy," "The Night Owls," "Take It Easy on Me," "Happy Anniversary," , etc!

I think they did 'Reminiscing' last time but they could do the live version with Farnsey for something different.
Lady.
They’ve reacted to Cool Change, Lady, Reminiscing, If I Get Lucky and Lonesome Loser
It's A Long Way There for great harmonies!
Reminiscing is their best song.
Glenn Frey..R.I.P said these guys were the best harmonizing band in the world, that's high praise
