    If you think the radiator is "low hanging fruit" on a 370 you never tried to take a radiator out of a 370. They're built so deep into the frame it's a big big job. plus, the water temps aren't the problem, the oil temps are the problem. a much better solution is an oil cooler.

    I went with a Fast Intentions TDX x-pipe CBE, a Stillen Gen 3 long tube CAI and an EcuTek dyno tune on a Dynojet chassis dyno and went from 282 peak rwhp @ 7200rpm stock, to 302 peak rwhp @7200 rpm with the intake and exhaust and finally to 321 peak rwhp @ 7200rpm after the tune. We saw a uniform 15% gain in torque across the whole rev range after the tune, which corrected a very lean condition at low revs and a moderately lean condition at high revs, due to the increased airflow and higher volumetric efficiency. About half of the total gains we got were from the fuel/air and ignition corrections done with the new hardware. The car feels almost as if it has gained another cylinder.

    You really should do your research.. The stock radiator and thermostat is just fine unless you go turbo. And intakes, here it's widely known that Stillen gen 3 is the best option. The headers on 350 and 370z are not cast. They are stainless steel short tube headers.

    Let me say with a turbo Z, the stock sport brakes even with upgraded pads and rotors is still going to get smoked even on the street. Any boosted Z will need a brake and oil cooler upgrade especially for the early years. Don't forget the clutch with forced induction definitely a must have in addition to a external slave cylinder upgrade due to the super common CSC failures.

    1) PS4S Tires 2) Hotchkis FRONT sway bar 9(leave the rear swaybar STOCK!) 3) Alignment 4) Fast Intentions Exhaust with CF Mufflers (not this chrome PLEASE NOTICE ME!!!! crap) + HF Cats 5) Oil Cooler - z1 has the most comprehensive kit options!!! 6) z1 motorsports intakes (you want these so you won't have to cut the stock radiator area) 7) z1 2-piece rotors (which you can get the front pair as a GENUINE 2 piece design cheaper than what this joker is advertising from stoptch lol) + your choice of brake pads + ss lines 8) If you're going to go Supercharger then you would have done good by getting a new header, however keep in mind the stock stillen kit lacks when it comes to cooling the charged air, so SOHO motorsports has a kit for a much better cooling setup, otherwise you truly would have wasted your money with just the stillen kit by itself as most are BARELY getting 350-360 hp at the wheels lol. SOHO kit will put that closer to the 500+ depending upon fueling.... 9) Tuning - find a tuner that actually is physically local to you if you're going FI, otherwise Seb at Specialty Z is the ticket.

      @@Ahmed-rk6br I would recommend going to the "fast intentions" website. They have a well done turbo kit, it's not cheap, but it has everything you need. SOHO also should be considered if you want to go supercharging route, I also think they can do turbo as well. Both companies are the best in the business, won't be the cheapest, but if you want things done correctly, they're the way to go.

    Those cone filters suffer from extreme heat soak, so in turn reduces performance, you want an upgraded filter to go within the air box or a tubed system with a cone filter with a carbon heat repellant box.

    • @Motoroso
      @Motoroso  Рік тому

      Well.... not everyone looks for pure performance. Some people really like the look/style of drilled rotors. And frankly, on the street it's unlikely anyone is finding the edge of a drilled rotor's strength.... that level of abuse is most likely only gonna occur on track.

    • @michaeldiguilmi7828
      @michaeldiguilmi7828 Рік тому +1

      @@Motoroso its definitely true that some people like that look, although i don’t understand why. Anyway, we probably shouldn’t be recommending mods that give a fake racecar look but actually have negative impacts only. Holes will just eat your pads for no reason. And racecars don’t have drilled rotors. Just wanted to put that message out there for anyone with a new Z looking to improve their car based off of this list. Agree with everything else except the radiator and thermostat though. Oil cooler is all you need if not boosted. My indentical but heavier G37 ran super steady temps in the florida summer during track days haha. Br series coilovers good. Sway bars good, would recommend hotchkis (although rear is not necessary unless you wana slide). Exhaust and long tube intake good. I recommend single exit 3” exhaust for weight savings and optimal power if you can deal with the sound. And superchargers are cool if you can deal with the extra front end weight and cooling issues if tracking.

    Injen or some brand I've never heard of for the intake?...not even a MENTION of Fast Intentions or Tomei or Greddy or any of the other staples for the exhaust?...a BULLYDOG TUNER!? I can't HELP but think you're not a Z guy, even more so with the shirt and Corvette comment...why did you make this video?
    For those actually curious:
    Intake: Z1 long tube
    Exhaust: Fast Intentions or Greddy. (Tomei if you like sounding like ass.)
    Tune: EcuTek
    Headers: Don't bother...skip all this shit and buy a turbo kit...Fast Intentions is again best in the business, IMO.

    This guy is a salesman who is trying to earn money by selling you products but he is exaggerating big time! In other words he’s lying!

    2 minutes into it and I'm done. 15 to 20 hp with intakes stop it this has been proven total bs time after time again on dynos, only with a tune can you see anything if you're lucky

      3" dual cold air intakes with a tune make a BIG difference. Go big and go cold and it will pull like a different car after a tune. I speak from personal experience.

      I agree only if you add a tune you will see a difference in working on getting admintuning intakes check out there UA-cam

      I just came from a video where they added 50whp with a full exhaust, intake, and tune (with dyno proof)

      You didn't miss anything. The rest of the video was just as bad. Bully dog tuner, saying CAI was the next best after short ram intakes, saying better to do true dual exhaust than one with an x pipe, saying if you want better handling, just buy a vette, etc. Pretty sure this guy did like 30min of internet research and never touched a 370.

    What 15 year old wrote this stuff?

    • @Motoroso
      @Motoroso  9 місяців тому

      Proper grammar would be "Which 15 year old...", or "Who is the 15 year old that wrote this?", or one might ask "Is this guy 15 years old?".

      @@Motoroso Yeah let's not argue the point, but instead talk about spelling from a non-native English speaker. :D
