I just bought a 1975 Ford F 100 Explorer ( Explorer is visual package than a performance) and need help finding some good rims. I was looking at the Rotiform CVT but it was too much flashy for me. Dude should I trade in my 15 BRZ for a 370z. I really want to go test drive one, BRZ is fun, I’ve had my fun with it. But I’m really leaning towards a 370z. Idk what to do.
I did not expect you guys to show the 370z some love. I love mine though and honestly there's so much aftermarket potential with the car that it can be overwhelming at times.

Biggest issue with the z is the overheating, Especially in the summer. My first 2 mods were aam oil cooler kit and stillen brakes cooling ducts. As far as water/coolant overheating issues, I went with 30mm core csf radiator with twin fans setup and had my tuner adjust my fans to run at 200 instead of 212 f. Aside from that, fantastic car.. block could take quite a bit of abuse if you decide to go the boosted life.
now see I did that as well with my 14 Nismo, upgraded the radiator, thermostat, cooling ducts, install of z1 oil cooler/transmission cooler, had a stage 1 tune and it still ran over 220 after 5-10 miles of mild use and a few abusive pulls. ended up upgrading oil cooler to a bigger row set and seem to settle it between 210-220. I live in az so we feel all the sun

It’s got the perfect amount of power for daily driving (you don’t lurch forward simply because you let off the brake) but it’s eager to go as fast as you want when you have a little space away from “repercussions”. I love my 2017 370Z Nismo and love it the way it is. The only thing I would change are the rims are tires to VOLK TE37's and air cylinders, because even though it is stock height I still scrape on driveways. I am confused however, about the throttle comment, my car has no issues like that, and many Detroit fans hate my car after they engage me. When you tested a 370Z Nismo did you turn off the traction control off, because that will cause that issue. Yeah I agree though my car feels heavy, but if I dont miss a gear she does just fine, against most V8's. Sometimes I win, sometimes I loose but I never loose by that much. I am also in love with some of the old school touches and character that NISSAN intelligently left alone. The Z cars have and will always be before their time and that is the charm about these cars. The best part I like about my 370Z Nismo is there are not that many around, like there are Domestics and my car draws crowds everywhere I go. To be entirely honest, most of the people don't know if they want a vehicle, before owning it for couple of years or at least couple of months. I personally like the Nissan Z-series (280zx,300zx 1 and 2,350,370, `23) because it's a two seater, it has quite some power, tuning on it goes very well, it's japanese (not as fancy like German, but reliable) and most importantly - it's not insanely expensive, however i have no idea if i actually like that car because i need to own it. Cars are like very sharp knifes. At first it's all fun and games until you start repairing it. The perfect trap for an enthusiastic 18-24 year old child.
I had my 03 350z for 15 years and never will give it up!!! it has 165,000 miles on it n never had any major problems besides couple of sensors and couple of coil packs going bad but besides that no oil leaks no rust under or around the car i still have the same original clutch (cause i know how to drive a stick) struts exhaust only thing i did to it was replaced front bumper with the nismo front bumper and had some guy that paints exotic car rims paint my wheels gun metal cause i hated the silver color. i will say i do take care of my baby. she is always nice n shiny the oil always changed and motor tuned up. you take care of a Jap car they will last forever.
The triple gauge cluster on the dash is a throwback to the 240z, 260z, and 280z. The design of the 350z and 370z take cues from those first cars. For example the long hood, the sloped rear deck, the small window behind the driver and passenger sides, and the gauges. I have a rebuilt 72' 240z and its a reliable and very fun car to drive.
I love my 370z. He's so much fun to drive, and i also love the aftermarket for these cars. I want to turn mine into a show car but for now he's my daily haha!
I've owned a 240z and 260z back in the day (yes I'm old) and the 370z in my driveway now deserves to be a classic in another 30 years or so. The ones that haven't been messed with I mean...and there wont be many of them!
I lusted after a 308 GTB. Then there was the Daytona. (Wow). Then there's Lamborghinis from that era. Stock 370 matches them. My maintenance (oil change). Maintenance on those... My intent is to keep my Z pristine. 8 years old and it looks new at 60k miles. Cheers.
I had a 2015 Base 370z for over 2 years. Loved it. Then I got a 2011 BMW 335i coupe. Always wanted a bimmer so I tried it out INSTEAD OF LISTENING to what people told me to do. Had issues and went back to 370z. Now I'm sitting in a 2017 Nismo 8k miles and will not ever look back. If you want a Z then get one. It's fun and reliable but most importantly it's affordable
Currently own a 2012 FBO + tune 370z. And I have to agree with most of what you said in this video. The car is great and I have a lot of fun with it. However it does have a tendency to run hot and cooling can be an issue with longer trips. Also the stated MPG is way lower than what is advertised for the car. I get maybe 12-15 mpg in the city at most
I’m a truck guy, I enjoy muscle cars. But the 370Z is love at first site. It’s literally the most perfect body style for what it is built for. You don’t sit in a 370z. You wear the car. Fits like a glove as I can imagine. I think I might stop at the dealership so I can see if I can test drive one with my grand pappy
I have one, it’s fun! Good luck finding good parts that arnt from Z1 or that are made for the 370 that need modifying for the G!! Interior is dated, but classy. Gas mileage is atrocious and she’s kinda boaty but she rips. Take it as you will haha
I own a original clean 1977 280Z and a 1978 280Z which is a project. But I really want to buy the 2015+ Nismo 370Z to add to the collection. I love the Z!
Funny I just started looking into the 350/370z last week and yesterday I got approved to finance one and i was on the fence about it and then this comes out lol
I tell ya you what after installing motordyne long tube headers, Borla cat back exhaust, Stiller gen 3 intakes and tunning the car by R/T tunning in Pennsylvania i maxed out at 332 whp
Fun fact: *The Nissan 370z was inspired by the Nissan Altima Coupe and all of its angles, areodynamics, along with the tail lights. The Nissan Altima Coupe also inspired the 2013 and up Nissan Altima Sedan with their tail lights and body style. The Nissan Altima Coupe shared a platform with the Infiniti G35 coupe and G37 coupe.*
There is that weird retro element to the car. If you have cooled seats there is the faint sound of a turbine spooling down after you power off. Shucks gotta love that.
Owned 3 of them, 2 of them Nismo, at the same time at one point. 😳 Also went both routes, boosted and car show. It all started when I saw one while I was going to college and I said to myself “that’s the car I want” and it became one of my dream cars. I recommend it, just not three of them 😂🥴 Thanks for showing the Z some love! 🙇
Love the car, Had to buy the 2020 370z Nismo manual. I know the next z is coming fast but I wanted a total 100% Japanese car that is pretty sound. With a gear ratio in the differential of 3.94, and a read line at 7500rpm, you know this car will scream. With the Nismo true dual exhaust, awesome Nismo tuned suspension, and the Nismo tuned engine, I cant loose for myself. Being a 5 time owner of the 5.0 mustang, this thing is up there with them in performance. Yes the Hp is lower, but the weight, aerodynamics, and raw speed helps this thing move. Also the engine has been one of the top 10 best engines made for over 10 yrs.
@ageekyguy wife right here! Funny that this video was uploaded on his bday 🤣🤣🤣 that car is kinda pain in the ass (amount of time he spent) 🥴 but as long as he is happy...my job is to be a supportive wifey 😊 god bless.
Just got rid of my 350Z for a Pearl White NISMO Tech 370Z 6MT. Don’t plan on doing too much to the car, but, I did already order an oil catch can kit, Fast Intentions catback and res’d test pipes, Z1 cold air intakes, and Swift lowering springs, and Z1 rear camber arms w/bolt eccentric kit. Not much else you have to do besides UpRev tune, oil changes, and put gas in it. Btw... it has a 19gal gas tank. Y’uuuuuge!
Do a bmw 135i video! Some people call it the "BMW Supra" inline six, twin turbo, 300hp to the wheel stock, huge aftermarket, and the stock block can easily handle up to 700-900 horsepower.
Nothing competes with look, style, feel and price of a 370Z. My 2016 pearl white Sport Tech is the real deal. Normally aspirated, raw HP. Some say the engine is unrefined. Thanks for the compliment! This is my 3rd Z (260Z, 300Z) and the 370Z is #1.
I own a 350z love the shit out of it and would not trade it in for a 370z. Test driven a few and it didn't feel like much of an improvement. The lines on the 350 are also better. The pointed angles of the 370 are kinda a turn off for me... Good video though. I should also point out the Z and G share the same platform(Nissans FM or frontmidship) and are more than just a bit similar.
I have an '09 Z. Been having it in the shop a bunch lately. Water pump, then valve cover gaskets, radiator and hoses, and this past week 2 coilpacks. Back when I bought it in 2012, the CSC popped and AC clutch died. Hopefully I will get a new job so I can afford to start doing something besides repairing it soon. All most 180k miles.

Cars are like very sharp knifes. At first it's all fun and games until you start repairing it. The perfect trap for an enthusiastic 18-24 year old child.

Moncef is the VQ goat
How’s the car doing?
Picked up a 370z a little over 2 months ago.. I AGREE with everything!!
I have watched this more then 50 times and I can't still stop watching.
Hahahaha ‘if you didn’t own a home, 2008 wasn’t half bad’ damn, didn’t have to do it dirty like that
Currently own a 2012 FBO + tune 370z. And I have to agree with most of what you said in this video. The car is great and I have a lot of fun with it. However it does have a tendency to run hot and cooling can be an issue with longer trips. Also the stated MPG is way lower than what is advertised for the car. I get maybe 12-15 mpg in the city at most
370Z / GT Edition / '12' / 386bhp / N/A 👍 really enjoying owning it, taking it to the track and touring it to Europe for road trips
If I could afford another car I’d add this to my collection. More fun in the straights than my brz
It’s crazy , I’ve been watching 350, 370z videos since I was a kid. It all started with Underground 2
370z(or 350z)/silvia s15 are my dream build cars so in the future i'd like to own one, but im only 19 and in Romania there are not that many
"Takes about a year and a half to respond" LOL hey I got mine down to about about 6 months ;)
Sprint booster works WONDERS.
i had an s13. bought a 370z yesterday. Life is good.
So you want an Infiniti G37?
ThatUnkownGuy same
I have one, it’s fun! Good luck finding good parts that arnt from Z1 or that are made for the 370 that need modifying for the G!! Interior is dated, but classy. Gas mileage is atrocious and she’s kinda boaty but she rips. Take it as you will haha
Plz
@@stoop4666 lol ill buy one in 7 years and drift it into a wall
@@stoop4666 So True! May as well name that one, So You Want to Shop at Z1...
I own a original clean 1977 280Z and a 1978 280Z which is a project. But I really want to buy the 2015+ Nismo 370Z to add to the collection. I love the Z!
You’re so lucky 🤟

Funny I just started looking into the 350/370z last week and yesterday I got approved to finance one and i was on the fence about it and then this comes out lol
I just test drove the 350Z and by far the 370Z kicks ass
I got my 370z nismo
And love the looks and how it handles .. bigg bigg wide 🍑🍑
Personally I love the gauge style dash setup. It's like a futuristic take on the classic Jaguar and Triumph dashboards of yesteryear.
Now I may be a bit biased but 370’s are just a tad bit amazing
I would replace the clock gauge with a AFR or vacuum gauge or boost gauge after procharging it
There is that weird retro element to the car. If you have cooled seats there is the faint sound of a turbine spooling down after you power off. Shucks gotta love that.
This video is hilarious 😂 instagram is made, clout is earned 😭
Literally was looking at getting a 370z and this vid popped up in my recommended, love it
There were sum sick Zs in this vid. Nicely done. So you want a Nissan 300zx or maybe Mazda RX8 that would interesting too. Congrats on 200K Sub.
Thanks for the suggestions and support!!
My god why is the 370Z the best looking car ever but why do I have to pay $40,000+ for 300hp and an out of date interior 😭😭😭
So you want a Skyline Hakosuka next?
It's like the best looking car ever made
That is an interesting car, but I never liked the look. I felt like I was looking at an upgraded Datsun 510.
Martin Schepers , why does someone always do this?
Owned 3 of them, 2 of them Nismo, at the same time at one point. 😳 Also went both routes, boosted and car show. It all started when I saw one while I was going to college and I said to myself “that’s the car I want” and it became one of my dream cars. I recommend it, just not three of them 😂🥴 Thanks for showing the Z some love! 🙇
Much prefer the 350 styling, its just a classic
Same.

370z take lot to make it look good
I also love the 350z a little better than the 370z.
@@campkira Not saying it looks bad, but the 350z was a legend
Facts.
Do a 350z!!
Keep doing “so you want” series. The Camaro would nice
Plz do a 350z video next! I want to know some things!😀
Thanks for the feature 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Well I love my 350😂 a 370 isn’t a must but one day
Honestly if you get the nismo 370Z you really don’t need to do anything on the exterior. Maybe just new wheels and an inch drop but the car is a gem.
You should do a “so you want a buy a brz/frs/ft86” if you havent already! :)
People always get confused when I start talking about the donk on my 370...but Alex gets it. xD
Y’uuuuuge!
I think its funny how he said its the older brother when in reality the 350z came out first😂i think its the other way around broo😁

Do a bmw 135i video! Some people call it the "BMW Supra" inline six, twin turbo, 300hp to the wheel stock, huge aftermarket, and the stock block can easily handle up to 700-900 horsepower.

First gear is a granny gear, if u wanna fast start, start in 2nd gear, for my 2019 Nismo I know to be true.
Good tip. I’ll try this out
It wears your clutch more plus first has highest torque
Nothing competes with look, style, feel and price of a 370Z. My 2016 pearl white Sport Tech is the real deal. Normally aspirated, raw HP. Some say the engine is unrefined. Thanks for the compliment! This is my 3rd Z (260Z, 300Z) and the 370Z is #1.
So you want a g37 coupe/sedan 🤘🏽
So you want a 3000gt?? Pls make this the next episode, the 3000gt needs more love😩💜
goin' down to buy one tomorrow, so excited!
“Not everyone likes to drift a 240sx” I used to have a Super Hicas 240, ultra rare. It took a little extra effort but I was still drifting it
I own a 350z love the shit out of it and would not trade it in for a 370z.
I personally like the front end of the 370 more and the rear of the 350z still would keep my 350 over a 370 though
@9:00 that's how i like my Z! simple lip spoiler and same exhaust, same color with newer rims
Don’t forget to mention the galley gasket issues that affect all VHR/HR engines from the Z and G from 07-12
TLE0622 IPL low oil pressure boys lol
I have an '09 Z. Been having it in the shop a bunch lately. Water pump, then valve cover gaskets, radiator and hoses, and this past week 2 coilpacks. Back when I bought it in 2012, the CSC popped and AC clutch died. Hopefully I will get a new job so I can afford to start doing something besides repairing it soon. All most 180k miles.
uhh the z33 is older than the z34 so it's akcshually the younger brother.
I recently bought a 370z low miles touring edition. I was a bit on the edge but i sure am glad I bough it, car is fucking amazing
I love my 2012 370Z rollin on 19x10 and 19x11 AG's. I went with the clean look.
